2023♡♡60th cup 7/4 afternoon It might be a violation, but I tried the Morioka Cold Noodles at Uobei. It was on my way, so I decided to stop by Uobei for the first time in a while. What?! Morioka Cold Noodles? I usually don't like Korean noodles, so I wasn't expecting much from cold noodles, but it was delicious! I enjoyed uni, eel, shrimp, and more. The service was quick, and the staff were working hard. Thank you for the meal! \(^o^)/

On a certain weekday, the road conditions worsened again, so I decided to go to the revolving sushi restaurant in Tonden, Kita-ku, which I had kept as a safe bet. The parking lot seemed to have enough space for everyone to park. The interior of the restaurant was the same size and layout on both sides. I checked in at the entrance using the machine, then quietly took my designated seat. From the menu that day, I chose some items that caught my interest. "Marbled herring (110 yen)" from Norway, topped with grated ginger in a tube, had a good amount of fat and the vinegared rice was on the sweeter side. "Sea urchin and squid battleship (110 yen)" intrigued me as I hadn't had squid in a while. After a bite, I thought, is this really sea urchin? It had a slightly fishy taste, which was a bit disappointing. "Mackerel teriyaki (110 yen)" was recommended by the buyer, and the thickly sliced mackerel cooked in teriyaki sauce was surprisingly delicious with a strong sweetness. "Real snow crab bowl (260 yen)" caught my eye in the menu photo, and when it arrived, it was a small bowl similar to chawanmushi with a slightly acidic crab meat topped with salmon roe. It wasn't bad. I forgot to take a photo of the "Fried cod (110 yen)". This Hokkaido dish was a good choice, freshly fried and hot with a fluffy texture and no fishy smell, making it the best dish of the day. "Jumbo steamed scallop with butter soy sauce (160 yen)" had a large scallop on top, making it difficult to eat with the rice, but each bite was delightful, especially with the butter soy sauce. "Live-seared tuna belly and toro (110 yen)" had a thick and satisfying texture, but two pieces might have been too fatty. "Tuna and salmon (110 yen)" arrived quickly after ordering. The tuna was thick and slightly watery, and the salmon was a bit thin with a mild flavor. I remembered the newly opened fish be restaurant in Hiragishi, Toyohira-ku, which left a good impression, so I came here, but it was a bit disappointing that it was just like the usual fish be. Nevertheless, the quick service was still commendable. Thank you for the meal.

The weather forecast predicted rain, but it turned out to be a hot day with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees. We went window shopping at MEGA Donki, 100 yen shop, and an outdoor specialty store without any intention to buy anything. Eventually, we ended up at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant called "魚べい". We ordered recommended items such as "サンマ" and "まぐろ三味", which were delicious. I also tried "本鮪中トロ" and "まぐろ" from the regular menu. To fill up our stomachs, we ordered a "コク味噌えびラーメン" and "山わさびかっぱ巻". In the end, we spent around 2200 yen for a satisfying meal. After that, we went window shopping at a home center just to pass the time.

Having lunch with my coworkers today♪ The small conveyor belt sushi restaurant nearby was closed. One unique feature here is that the items you order from the panel are delivered to your seat on a rail. So you don't have to worry about strangers taking or touching your food like at other places. It's not safe to let small children sit on the lane side when you're at your table. They might touch the sushi going around or cough and sneeze on it:(;゙゚'ω゚'): It's a common thing to see elderly people putting back their empty plates on the lane haha. Among the various options, the shrimp tempura roll and grilled squid were really good♪

Today's lunch was early. My partner wanted to go, so we went to Sushiro right after it opened at 11:10. The restaurant was almost empty... it felt like we had the place to ourselves haha. The prices were good, but maybe because we arrived so early, they were already out of special menu items and even some regular menu items... they didn't even have yellowtail... I guess I'll just have to settle for tuna. Well, it's better than supermarket sushi! Even though it was only 11 in the morning, I wish they had more options on the regular menu haha. Sushiro, the friend of the common people, non-rotating conveyor belt sushi! Keep up the good work. I'll be back again! Thank you for the meal.

I want to eat sushi, so I sometimes visit this place ∩^ω^∩♪ It has recently been renovated and now it's a non-revolving sushi restaurant! I used to visit before the renovation, and the changes I personally noticed are that the rice is softer and smaller than before. The speed of serving has become even faster (゚ω゚) The fish hasn't changed, but the salmon no longer has a frozen feel (lol) There are some different types of salmon, but my favorite is the salmon with green onion and chili oil. This time I ordered three plates of it (゚ω゚) The size of the fish varies, sometimes they are small and disappointing, but this time, surprisingly, I got four large slices of salmon on one plate (lol) Maybe they had some leftover pieces? This was a pleasant surprise w I usually don't order side dishes, but this time I ordered a shrimp salad. The shrimp was firm but the flavor was mild. There was also a winter special menu item, the righteye flounder, which was thick but slightly watery and had a chewy texture. The saury tempura I had before was delicious, so the seasonal menu items can be hit or miss. Following the salmon with green onion and chili oil, I also like the vinegar-cured sardines. The fish is thick and the flavor is good (^ω^) This time it was all shiny fish, but the horse mackerel was as big as always ← big and flavorful. lol But with this size, I am satisfied. The gizzard shad was thin but had a strong flavor. I had 7 plates of sushi and a salad, all for under 1000 yen♪ They also offer takeout, so some people ordered at the counter and took everything to go. This way of enjoying sushi is also good. I preferred Hamazushi at revolving sushi restaurants, but I'm happy that the salmon has improved (^ー^) I look forward to the next seasonal menu items...☆

When I go to Tonden Farm occasionally, I always struggle with where to eat. But my husband says as long as there's beer, he's good to go. So we usually end up at Kaitenzushi. My husband really likes the warm egg and mentaiko udon, he even had two bowls. He decided to skip the cake this time though. It's not too crowded if you go at a different time, and it's easy to order with the touch panel. It's a nice and casual place to eat.

Lunch break during a tour in Sapporo city. In October 2013, a conveyor belt sushi restaurant opened across from Ito Yokado Tonden store. Today's lunch was at a 100 yen conveyor belt sushi restaurant. I tried the Hokkaido limited menu item, fresh squid with wasabi, as well as creative dishes like grilled Pacific saury with spicy cod roe mayo and scallop with shishamo. The plates were enjoyable for just 100 yen each, different from the usual items. To avoid overeating, I filled up my stomach with a tanuki udon soup (which was 157 yen including tax). The broth had a nice flavor. Surprisingly satisfying menu. After that, as usual, I filled up my stomach with tea and pickled ginger. The 100 yen sushi restaurants come up with various ideas. Ordering via touch screen is common now, but there was a slot machine on the screen... What's this? Suddenly the slot machine started spinning. "7 7 7" aligned. You can choose between a gachapon (prize: sushi-shaped eraser) or a 10% discount coupon for the next visit. The manager came over and said, "Congratulations!" Is this something that doesn't happen to everyone? Is this beginner's luck? The plates with sushi are brought by trains like shinkansen or supercars. I'm not a "train enthusiast" but I took a photo of a yellow shinkansen (Doctor Yellow) delivering a plate. I took the photo in one shot, without continuous shooting. (Of course, please do not use flash as it can be annoying!) The shutter speed was slow, so you can clearly see the movement of the train. And the plate is not blurry. Sorry, I just had to boast (^_^)v It was a coincidence, though. Not just a train enthusiast, but a food enthusiast. Thank you for the meal. The discount coupon is valid until the end of November, so I will come again... November 2016 Another lunch break during a tour in Sapporo. In the northern area of Sapporo, I had lunch at the Tonden branch of Kaiten Sushi restaurant. I had three plates of tuna, bincho maguro, shimesaba, and amaebi, as well as a mini-sized soy sauce ramen. Feeling a bit unsatisfied, I added a plate of tuna sashimi. Surprisingly, it was a satisfying lunch. It's nice to be able to adjust to my own stomach and wallet condition (you can pay by card). The style of slurping ramen while eating sushi is quite nice, isn't it? This amount of food seems just right. Thank you for the meal.

On November 12, 2016 (Saturday) at 7:45 PM, I had work in Tonden and it was time for dinner. The revolving sushi restaurant recommended by MyReviewer near me was closed, so I went to Uobei. In the past, I used to prefer Hamazushi for revolving sushi, but now they only have wasabi-free sushi, which was disappointing. They also no longer have tuna, pickled eggplant, or California rolls, so the charm has faded. Uobei allows for online reservations, so I made a reservation in advance. Despite the popularity and long lines, I had almost no wait time because of my reservation. I placed my order through the touch panel and my food arrived quickly on the high-speed lane, which was stress-free and convenient. The sushi was freshly made, with warm rice and cold toppings, which was ideal. I am likely to revisit various branches in the future. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

There is a restaurant across from the Ito Yokado in Tonden. I parked my car in a corner of the spacious parking lot and entered the shop. It was mid-afternoon on a weekday, and there were quite a few customers... it seems to be popular around here. Unlike at Kaitenzushi restaurants, where the sushi goes around on a conveyor belt, this shop had lanes that were moving. They were more like toy trains, though. I placed various orders, and the Shinkansen and F1 cars brought them to me. After receiving the plates, I pressed a button to send the Shinkansen back, but I often forgot to do so. As for the taste, it was neither good nor bad. I tend to overeat, so the price ends up being higher, as is the case with any revolving sushi restaurant. One thing I always eat at revolving sushi chains is "noodles." Here, I had the "special miso ramen." The noodles were brought to me by a staff member. Unfortunately, the miso ramen had a watery soup, which was a bit disappointing... It felt like they added too much water to the soup base, like they diluted it too much. So, I had to add salt or soy sauce to adjust the flavor. It was a letdown compared to the delicious sushi.

I am a lunch refugee. I happened to pass by here, so I was inevitably drawn in. They have fish dishes here... Sushiro had a campaign with large fatty tuna for 100 yen, but I don't have the luxury as a lunch refugee! The counter is spacious and you can choose your favorite seat, which is nice. However, I was squeezed into a seat between two other people at some point... I always tend to be drawn to limited edition items rather than the regular menu, and end up ordering from those. The spring taste comparison was okay, but the premium sea urchin felt lacking in flavor. The Hokkaido limited edition live mackerel didn't taste as good as I expected, and I regret not ordering something to finish off the meal... The taste of the live mackerel itself was just not to my liking. The tuna was watery and too soft! It lacked flavor and the rice was... what happened there?? I was really disappointed! The fatty salmon taste was okay, but it was also watery and too soft. Today's quality was just... disappointing. The fresh squid, which I usually enjoy for its stable texture and refreshing taste, didn't sit well with me this time. I felt a strange flavor and ended up feeling a bit indigestion, so I had to stop ordering more. Furthermore, the rice was not up to par this time, and when I tried eating just wasabi, I noticed that it was a bit sweet, and upon closer inspection, I found out that sugar was listed in the ingredients (^_^;) The staff were friendly and tried their best with a smile, which left a good impression on me... ☆☆☆ Next Episode Preview ☆☆☆ When dining with my family, we will probably choose to go to a fish dish restaurant like Fish Be.

Visited around 3pm on Saturday, March 5, 2016. A conveyor belt sushi restaurant that opened on Toneda's 4th Street. Seems to be a different brand from Genki Sushi. It was empty at an odd time. Orders are all done through a touch panel, not on the conveyor belt. The main dishes are 2 pieces for ¥108. The mixed tuna and bincho tuna is a good idea. The red snow crab looks a bit lonely in terms of presentation. The raw, fresh mackerel is separated from the rice. The shrimp with salt sauce tastes good. The homemade marinated mackerel from Hokkaido (¥183) was nothing special. The biggest issue here is the soy sauce, which seems to be original, but dispensed one plate at a time, making it inconvenient for dipping the sushi. Additionally, the soy sauce lacks flavor and aroma. Overall, not luxurious but affordable.

Finally, there are only three days left in October. I wonder if I'll be able to finish my work on time, haha. Anyway, onto the title... I was forcibly taken out by my mother, haha. She said she was alone today, but she's always alone, right? Well, she treated me to grilled mackerel and some slightly overcooked oysters. They were a bit dry. Oh, and I found something cute - Halloween chirashi sushi! It was so tiny and adorable, like two pieces of regular sushi. It was a bit disappointing in taste though. I ended up feeling a bit queasy, so I stopped at these three dishes. Mom, take me out when you're feeling better, haha.

In recent years, conveyor belt sushi has improved a lot. I used to avoid conveyor belt sushi that was less than 100 yen per plate. For example, when ordering sea urchin or salmon roe, more than half would be cucumber with just a little bit of the topping, or all frozen toppings, so even at 100 yen per plate, it felt expensive! A 100 yen sushi place opened nearby, and after trying it, my perception started to change. It's true that the sushi is small in size both the rice and the topping, but you can enjoy a wide variety. That's the same charm that this Uobei restaurant has. The toppings are surprisingly delicious. Thank you for the meal.

On August 12, 2015, I went out for lunch with my friends Menko and An-chan. Since I work in the evening, I had a relaxing day. As usual, Menko was fixated on tuna. She also wanted to try the steamed seafood bowl that she liked in Otaru recently. We decided to go to a revolving sushi restaurant called Kaiten Sushi Kotaro in Tonden to have a large seafood bowl. However, to our disappointment, the restaurant was closed for the day. It was actually my second time making this mistake. We then decided to try a nearby sushi restaurant that I had never been to before. Despite my initial reservations about 100-yen sushi places, I found the experience to be enjoyable and pleasant. The restaurant had a touch panel for ordering, which was a bit confusing at first. I ordered a seafood bowl, clam soup, two plates of tuna, and a summer platinum set with various sushi. The food arrived on a conveyor belt, which was a fun and exciting experience. The quality of the sushi was decent, with some dishes being more enjoyable than others. Menko quickly moved on to desserts, while An-chan and I continued to order more sushi. We tried different types of salmon sushi and unique flavors like salmon with green onion and chili oil. Overall, we were satisfied with the food and the experience. The bill came out to around 3900 yen for the three of us. We will definitely visit this restaurant again in the future.

I went to For El to buy clothes for my husband, who is constantly evolving! After a big shopping spree, what should I eat? I thought of going to the izakaya Shun for lunch, where I was rejected last time, but it's closed... What should I do? I ended up going to Uomi! I was easily seated at the counter, and it felt like it had been a while since I last visited. The menu hasn't changed, which is both convenient and a bit disappointing. The interior was similar to the Chitose branch. I won on the roulette! It would be great if they had roulette for beer too. For the finale, I ordered the medium fatty tuna, but it was small and semi-frozen, which was disappointing.

I came here after a long time. In between, I had about 10 plates of food, including chawanmushi. This time, I got hooked on crab miso (≧∇≦). It was a bit watery but I really enjoyed the crab miso. And all of this for 105 yen! So happy (⌒▽⌒) I will definitely visit again ☆☆☆☆☆ It's been open for about two months... I think? I finally went there. The manager used to work in Teine. It's a chain restaurant so it's not that different, but the limited menu of tuna... something... I forgot the official name... it had a lot of fat and was so delicious. 2 pieces for 105 yen is cheap and very tasty (≧∇≦). But... when I went yesterday, the limited menu had changed and was no longer available (T . T) Make sure to check out the limited menu. The chawanmushi had shrimp, scallop, crab, white fish, mitsuba, and more. Lots of ingredients and very satisfying. I'll definitely order it again next time (^-^)
