LP was in the mood for all-you-can-eat sushi, so KG found this restaurant where they could also enjoy shabu-shabu. LP called ahead and the restaurant had a calm private room, perfect for a casual business meeting. They opted for the option with both pork and beef shabu-shabu, along with all-you-can-eat sushi. However, they found that the sushi selection was limited and the portions were large, making it difficult to try a variety. They regretted not ordering individual sushi items instead. The meat was thinly sliced and the dipping sauces were typical ponzu and sesame. Overall, they felt that the quality did not match the price of over 5000 yen per person. The lack of variety in the menu made them think that it might be better to buy good meat and enjoy it at home. Despite this, they left the restaurant feeling full.

This private room is really nice. It's not crowded here, maybe due to the location, the level of recognition, or because it's a Monday. Even with a last-minute reservation, there was no problem. My junior suddenly said he wanted to eat shabu-shabu. I, on the other hand, prefer sukiyaki. He then added that he wanted pork. I told him to find a place himself if he had a clear preference like that, but the lazy junior didn't bother to search and kept making excuses. I found this place near our workplace where we can eat both sukiyaki and shabu-shabu. It's a small building, but the entrance is clean and new. We chose the "Sukishabu Hokkaido Wagyu Beef and Hokkaido Pork Course ¥3180" to meet both our preferences. We also opted for the all-you-can-drink option for an additional ¥2000. I prefer Japanese products, especially Hokkaido ones, so I feel at ease here. We started with a toast with beer and as we were drinking, the meat and vegetables arrived. We made some silly questions like if we could get more eggs (¥50 each) or if we could exchange the plate for more meat. The staff kindly explained the menu to us, as we didn't read it properly. The sukiyaki and shabu-shabu were both slightly less in quantity but good quality meat. The overall taste was delicious, especially when combined with vegetables and chicken meatballs. The fact that we cook the hot pot ourselves may affect the taste a bit, but it was still enjoyable. I feel like I've discovered a good restaurant nearby. The all-you-can-eat option is reasonably priced, so I'd like to come back with a larger group next time.
