Regular visit. I had "Chinese soba + hand-kneaded noodle change" at "Chuka Soba Charumee" located on the 1st floor of Maruei Building EAST, 2-1-4 Hagi-naka, Ota-ku, Tokyo (880 yen + 50 yen = 930 yen). I changed the noodles to thick hand-kneaded noodles. It costs an additional 50 yen. It came with two types of pork and chicken chashu, green onions, menma, spinach, and seaweed, looking delicious as always! This is my 15th visit to Charumee. Previous articles: - Special Chinese Soba: Chuka Soba Charumee (44th bowl in 2022) [2022-04-12] - Salted Chinese Soba: Chuka Soba Charumee (52nd bowl in 2022) [2022-05-01] - Wonton Chinese Soba: Chuka Soba Charumee 3rd time (79th bowl in 2022) [2022-06-30] - Limited Cold Chinese Soba: Chuka Soba Charumee 4th time (96th bowl in 2022) [2022-07-27] - Limited Kombu Dipping Noodles: Chuka Soba Charumee 5th time (101st bowl in 2022) [2022-08-06] - Special Chinese Soba: Chuka Soba Charumee 6th time (137th bowl in 2022) [2022-09-30] - Special Salted Chinese Soba: Chuka Soba Charumee 7th time (155th bowl in 2022) [2022-11-02] - Wonton Chinese Soba: Chuka Soba Charumee 8th time (177th bowl in 2022) [2022-12-02] - Mixed Soba: Chuka Soba Charumee 9th time (189th bowl in 2022) [2022-12-19] - Chashu Chinese Soba: Charumee 10th time (2nd bowl in 2023) [2023-01-08] - Limited Spicy Miso Ramen: Charumee 11th time (17th bowl in 2023) [2023-02-10] - Special Chinese Soba: Chuka Soba Charumee 12th time (31st bowl in 2023) [2023-03-18] - Wonton Salted Chinese Soba: Chuka Soba Charumee 13th time (55th bowl in 2023) [2023-04-28] - Chinese Soba + Small Chashu Rice: Charumee 14th time (83rd bowl in 2023) [2023-06-18] The menu now includes "dipping noodles" as a regular item. Dipping noodles are 900 yen, and special dipping noodles are 1200 yen. There were no significant changes from the visit in June. To change to hand-kneaded noodles, you need to purchase a 50 yen "hand-kneaded noodle change ticket." The hand-kneaded noodle change for the Chinese soba I had was slightly flat thick noodles. They were chewy and satisfying to eat. It was delicious in its own way. The soup was delicious as always and finished to the last drop. The hand-kneaded thick noodles also felt good. I enjoyed it. Thank you. *This post is from a blog. [Link to the blog post: https://ameblo.jp/eihoka/entry-12813986733.html] (Postscript) I feel like giving scores might be disrespectful to the restaurant and could be considered a form of obstruction, so I will give full marks to everything. I hope I can introduce the restaurant.

I arrived at the restaurant at 2:30 pm on a holiday and there was no wait. When I arrived, all the rice dishes were sold out, so if you want to eat, it's better to come early. The ramen was based on dried fish broth and was very delicious. The chashu had different types, keeping the taste interesting. The ramen was so good that I couldn't stop eating, and I want to go back again. I walked back to Kamata, but I think it was about a 15-minute walk from Kamata.

Special Chinese soba @ Charume Balanced traditional ramen with a good taste. I like it. The initial scent of green onions is good, and the soup has a strong umami taste. The noodles seem to be from a noodle factory in Iwate. Not very distinctive, but it feels nostalgic. I don't dislike it. The chashu is thick-cut pork shoulder and chicken chashu. In the special version, there are two slices of seared pork belly rolls. It's a shame that the special version doesn't come with wontons. Should have gone for wonton noodles. The owner is from Soranoiro. The downside is that it's personally difficult to get to the location. The surrounding area has fairly narrow roads with many one-way streets, and there are scattered coin parking lots, all of which are small and often show "full" signs. It may be a good idea to target a few parking spots in advance. For my first visit, I chose the most traditional soy sauce special Chinese soba. The soup has a subtle aroma of sautéed onions and is rich and sharp. This is delicious. The noodles are medium-thin and smooth. It's also delicious when eaten sandwiched with seaweed. There are three types of chashu. It retains the deliciousness of classic ramen while incorporating a modern touch.

I visited this restaurant for the first time at the request of my family. It's not far from Keikyu Kojiya Station, and I thought it faced a main street, but it was actually around the corner where a line had formed. We lined up around 1 p.m. on a Sunday and were about 10th in line. You can sit on chairs until you reach the top 3 spots. It took about 30 minutes until we reached the front of the line. We purchased meal tickets at the vending machine and chose the special soy sauce-flavored ramen for 1200 yen. The vending machine accepts new 500 yen coins. I wasn't sure what was in the special ramen, so I thought it would include wontons, but it didn't. Other customers were ordering wonton ramen with seasoned egg toppings, etc. I see, you can also change to hand-kneaded noodles for an additional 50 yen. After taking a sip of the soy sauce-flavored soup, I was like "Ahh! This taste is nostalgic." I finished every last drop of the soup. Next time, I'd like to try the wonton ramen with hand-kneaded noodles. Thank you for the meal! (^^)

Ordered salt ramen and special dipping noodles. The salt ramen has a strong salty flavor that goes well with the thin noodles. The tenderness of the pork chashu is exquisite. The surprising part was the dipping sauce for the noodles. The spicy flavor is very good, and the noodles slide smoothly. The noodles are chewy and not heavy at all. The staff also warmly greeted us despite being busy, making this restaurant highly satisfying. I definitely want to try the soy sauce wontons next time.

I visited a ramen shop called "Chukasoba Charume" in Kojiya this time. The owner, who trained at "SORANOIRO," a well-known ramen shop among ramen enthusiasts, opened "Chukasoba Charume" in 2019 as the first officially recognized branch of "SORANOIRO." The name "Charume" comes from the owner's nickname, which means "not mature enough to be called Charumera." The Special Chukasoba costs 1200 yen. The toppings include three types of pork and chicken chashu, greens, menma, seaweed, flavored egg, green onions, and naruto, all generously served, almost covering the noodles. Luxurious! The soup seems to be a mix of seafood and chicken, with a well-balanced and deliciously flavorful broth where neither flavor overpowers the other. It has a classic yet somewhat modern taste. It's just delicious, without a doubt. The noodles are thin and straight, slightly soft, and go perfectly with the soup. The fragrant greens and crunchy menma are delicious. The chashu slices are thick, with the pork being fatty and meaty. My favorite was the moist and crispy chicken chashu. While the thick chashu slices are tasty, I personally prefer the melt-in-your-mouth thin-sliced chashu. The creamy and flavorful flavored egg is also delicious. With three seaweed sheets, you can enjoy changing the taste while eating. The soup was so delicious that I almost drank it all. This ramen combines classic and modern elements, making it incredibly tasty. The service was warm and welcoming, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. Thank you for the meal.

The special soy sauce ramen and salt ramen with flavored egg are addictive with their soy sauce flavor. The thin noodles have a smooth texture and go down the throat easily. The char siu is also delicious as it is roasted. The char siu bowl is also roasted. It's good that there are plenty of toppings. Toppings include seaweed, flavored egg, char siu made from pork and chicken, seasoned bamboo shoots, and spinach. It's a ramen that makes you want to go back!

I thought the Char siu ramen at 1,400 yen was expensive, but it was totally worth it. It came with three types of carefully made Char siu, and at this price, it actually felt cheap. Above all, the soup was dramatically delicious. It was so good that I completely finished the soup, which I usually don't.

I came from Haneda Airport Station to Kojiya Station and it was a short walk. It was a little past 11 o'clock, but there was already a line. I got in within 10 minutes, but there was a line behind me. The interior of the restaurant is not spacious but clean. The atmosphere of the couple running the place is very good. Even just looking at the ramen, you can see the beautiful craftsmanship. It looks delicious even before you eat it. By the time you come here, it starts to look like a piece of art. The taste was, needless to say, delicious. I have eaten ramen from around the world, but this was truly delicious ramen.

At the request of my daughters, we went to Costco Kawasaki Warehouse store. We arrived early, but there was quite a crowd, and it took us 2 hours. For lunch on the way back, we went to "Chinesoba Charumera" as per my father's request. I had been curious after seeing posts from seniors, and finally got to go! I ordered the "Wonton Salt Chinesoba ¥1,080". The mellow salt-flavored soup had a rich broth, paired well with thin noodles, and the wontons were full of juicy filling. My daughter's soy sauce also looked delicious.

This is the 86th ramen shop on my list of Tokyo's top 100 ramen shops. On the way to Haneda Airport, I parked at a coin parking lot and there were 5 people waiting outside. I waited for about 15 minutes before getting a seat at the bright restaurant with an L-shaped counter for 9 seats. I ordered the special soy sauce ramen. The soup had a very gentle flavor with a hint of chicken and seafood. There were some charred green onions floating on top, adding a nice touch. The first sip was refreshing, but the taste was smooth and rich. The medium-thin noodles matched the soup perfectly. The chashu, including chicken chashu, was very delicious with 4 slices. The simple and genuine taste, where each element seems to be carefully crafted, truly conveys the essence of the restaurant's name, "Charme." Thank you for the meal.

About a 3-minute walk from Keikyu-Kojiya Station, with poor connections to JR at Shinagawa resulting in a 5-minute delay from opening, I was relieved to find plenty of empty seats inside. With around 8 counter seats, I chose the default soy sauce-flavored ramen with seasoned egg, costing just 1000 yen. The interior was clean and the spacing between tables was just right. The amber-colored clear soy sauce had a light and gentle flavor. While I couldn't quite pinpoint the broth, it seemed to be based on bonito flakes, resulting in a familiar yet tasty taste. The straight, thin noodles had a moderate water content, offering a supple and pleasant texture. The moist seasoned egg and char siu were also satisfying, making for a well-balanced ramen overall.

The special soy sauce ramen for 1200 yen comes with three types of chashu, providing a satisfying portion. Personally, I think one type of chashu would be enough. The soup initially has a strong umami flavor of dried ingredients like shiitake mushrooms. It is rich and well-balanced. Towards the end, you can also taste a bonito-like broth that gradually brings a refreshing sensation. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Ordered Chinese soba, salted Chinese soba, and small chashu rice. The Chinese soba had a traditional taste with a slight seafood flavor. The salted Chinese soba had a clear soup like salt ramen, not too light but well seasoned. Both dishes had different chashu and ingredients, using lean meat with good texture. The meat in the chashu rice was also lean, providing a satisfying eating experience.

I had to go to Haneda for work, so I got off at Kojiya Station and visited this restaurant for the first time. Actually, it was my first time getting off at Kojiya Station and there was nothing around (laughs). But it's a common story that hidden gems are found in such locations. I arrived on a weekday after 1 pm and was lucky to be seated without waiting. This time, I ordered the special Chinese soba for 1250 yen. Although ramen prices are getting higher and it's becoming less casual for lunch, when the bowl arrived filled with lots of toppings, my excitement went up. The mixed variety of chashu was especially delicious. The clear and beautiful colored soup was also tasty and I finished it all. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant on foot from Kawasaki Station where I was staying, in line with the Saturday opening. I arrived at 11 o'clock and was able to be seated immediately with 4 customers already there and no waiting outside. After that, 4 more people came in and it became full, so the timing was good! The ticket was for the special Chinese soba, and it seemed to be run by a couple who made each bowl carefully and efficiently. The mazesoba of the person in front of me also looked delicious. My special Chinese soba arrived. Topped neatly with toppings and thin noodles, I first tried the soup. It's soy sauce-colored but not too strong in soy sauce flavor, with a bit more fragrant oil, making it a bit rich. Maybe it's burnt onions? It has a good depth and goes well with the soy sauce soup. Next is the noodles, which have a firm texture due to a low water content, and I think it's because there is a lot of oil in the soup, but the noodles stick together a lot, and by the time I finish eating, there's almost no soup left... Of the 3 types of chashu, the roast was the most delicious. It had greens, egg, menma, and nori, but there were no wontons. I thought it would be included in the special version... I had a good ramen on a holiday morning.

Located about a 5-minute walk from Keikyu Airport Line Kojiya Station, I visited "Chuka Soba Charume" after a long time. I stopped by around 2 p.m. and luckily was able to enter without waiting in line. The place was packed as usual. I purchased a ticket at the machine by the entrance and then took a seat. The interior had a kitchen surrounded by an L-shaped counter with about 9 seats. I ordered the "Special Salt Chuka Soba" (1200 yen). The visual presentation of the ingredients and the amber-colored soup was beautiful! The broth, made with chicken bones, bonito flakes, dried sardines, kombu, and aromatic vegetables, was clear and clean with no hint of impurities. The balance of saltiness and richness was excellent. It was incredibly delicious! The soup, which was smooth and flavorful, made me want to slurp it repeatedly. The noodles were moderately straight and thin, with a soft yet chewy texture that felt great in the throat. The flavor was also excellent. The basic ingredients included 3 types of chashu, spinach, chopped green onions, menma, seaweed, and flavored egg. The lineup of chashu was fantastic! The slightly seared pork belly chashu was thick and satisfying to eat, bursting with umami. Delicious! The low-temperature-cooked pork loin had a soft yet firm texture. It had a different kind of deliciousness compared to the belly meat! Having two slices was a nice touch! The pure white chicken breast chashu was moist and tender from low-temperature cooking, bringing out the full flavor of the chicken. Delicious! The spinach had a perfect level of firmness. The chopped green onions added a refreshing touch to the slightly oily soup. The seasoning of the slender menma was exceptionally tasty! You could feel the care put into it. The flavored egg had a perfect semi-soft texture and umami. It was to my liking! The husband and wife owners' service exuded kindness and sincerity, making it a very cozy place to dine. A truly satisfying meal. It was wonderfully delicious! Thank you for the meal!

Lucky to enter without waiting in line before noon! I ordered a simple soy sauce ramen. The appearance was ordinary, but the soup was delicious! Delicious! Delicious! It's been a long time since I've encountered such a delicious soup. I couldn't finish it all because I was overwhelmed by the heat! This is definitely one of the restaurants I want to visit again.

It is about a 2-3 minute walk from Kojiya Station. I visited around 7:20 pm on a weekday. I read on Twitter that they sometimes close early due to running out of ingredients, but luckily I was able to eat there. After me, a group of 3 people came but they had run out of soup. The soup, made with animal ingredients, dashi, and shellfish, was very delicious. It went well with the chewy hand-kneaded noodles. The chashu was also delicious, available in two types: chicken and pork shoulder loin. I ordered the flavored egg ramen with hand-kneaded noodles and chashu rice.

I visited around 14:30 on a weekday. No customers were there. I purchased the special ramen for 1,250 yen from the ticket machine. The interior of the restaurant is only counter seating. It arrived a few minutes later. It had 4 slices of chashu, naruto, komatsuna, nori, and menma. The soup, which is a bit complex, has a transparent appearance and I could taste the richness, maybe from garlic. It mixes well with the noodles. I was satisfied. By the time I finished eating, even though it was before 3 p.m., the restaurant was full. It's a popular place. Thank you for the meal.
