We visit this yakiniku restaurant once a month. On a Friday at 6:30 PM, four colleagues and I made a reservation and visited. The restaurant was fully booked with reserved customers. We sat at a table today. We ordered kimchi, roast beef, and other appetizers first, and then various meats such as tongue, heart, yakiniku, loin, top harami, tripe, and liver. I was too busy cooking to remember to take photos. The yakiniku was excellent, especially the yakiniku, which is the reason we visit every month. The staff cooks the yakiniku for you. Another feature of this restaurant is the variety of side dishes. This time, we ordered curry, omurice, and cold noodles. The curry, in particular, was delicious with the meat blended in, and I believe it would create long lines if they opened a curry shop in my hometown of Jinbocho. We also ordered beer, wine, sake, highballs, and other drinks, and the cost is around 10,000 yen per person, making it great value for money. It's a wonderful restaurant that I want to keep visiting.

I had high expectations for this yakiniku restaurant, but unfortunately it fell short. The meat was not bad, but the seasoning was too salty overall, and the naengmyeon was lacking in flavor. The meat seemed fresh and had no unpleasant smell, so it could have been much tastier with better seasoning. The service and atmosphere were very good.

This was my second consecutive day of having jumbo yakiniku this year, and it was delicious again today. The meat is marinated so well that it tastes great even without dipping it in sauce. Of course, curry is the perfect way to finish the meal. This restaurant never fails to impress me, no matter how many times I visit.

The staff will tell you the grilling time depending on the type of meat, and they will grill it in front of you. It's a restaurant that is hard to get a reservation for, but it's definitely worth going once! It was so delicious that I ended up eating too much! Highly recommended!

I made a reservation about a month before the visit. It was my first time visiting. The tongue, loin, grilled beef tongue, and beef rice were delicious! The staff's customer service was great, and I was happy to find that the alcohol was cheaper than I expected. We visited with 5 people, ordered until we were full, and spent about 13,000 yen per person.

I made a reservation online one month in advance for a visit on a Saturday or Sunday night and ordered the following dishes: - Bean sprouts for 500 yen: They were crunchy with long roots and a slightly difficult texture to eat, but well-seasoned and fit perfectly between the meat. - Black Wagyu beef tongue for 2500 yen: A dish with a chewy texture and strong umami flavor. - Beef tendon and egg over rice for 880 yen: A sweet sauce with the umami of meat and mushrooms soaked into konjac and other ingredients. - Wagyu beef sushi for 650 yen per piece: A dish cooked on the spot, with a good balance of fat and just the right amount of saltiness. - Jumbo field grill (sirloin) for market price: Very tender with a sweet and rich marinade, enhanced by the taste of eggs and the umami of fat. - Zabuton (marbled beef) for 3650 yen: A well-balanced combination of fat and meat, slightly leaning towards lean with a refreshing taste. - Beef rice for 2 people for 8250 yen: Rice cooked with fillet, garlic, butter, and red wine, featuring a strong buttery taste with lingering flavors of garlic and red wine, complemented by the crispy texture of fried Orion as an accent (limited to reservations). - Wagyu beef wonton soup (half portion) for 1160 yen: Smooth skin filled with the umami of Wagyu beef and dashi, with mushrooms, leeks, and crunchy greens adding a fresh touch. When I crave delicious yakiniku, I go to Jumbo. I recommend the tongue and Nohara yaki. I wonder why the tongue is so crispy and delicious. The Nohara yaki is always amazingly tasty. Another underrated recommendation is the heart. It has a moist and melting texture that I love. I will definitely be going back! Thank you for the meal!

Today I visited this restaurant. I had been wanting to come here for a while, and I finally made it! I started with a toast with beer. For the meat, I chose the chef's selection course. In conclusion, every type of meat was incredibly delicious! The first was the greetin g liver, which was soft in a way different from the others. The highlight was the field-grilled meat! The super tasty sirloin was lightly cooked and dipped in beaten egg. As soon as I put it in my mouth, it melted, leaving only the umami flavor! The tongue was also incredibly delicious, probably the best I've ever had! The hand-rolled sushi, grilled right there, was also incredibly tasty! In the end, I ended up ordering more meat, and I had a lot to eat! For dessert, I had cold noodles and beef bowl! Everything was delicious! This is a popular restaurant and it may be hard to get a reservation, but I will definitely come back again! Thank you for the meal!

Memories of the high-class yakiniku restaurant "Yakiniku Jumbo Hongo-ten". This restaurant is a famous yakiniku restaurant located near the Hongo-sanchome Station on the Oedo Line, and I think anyone who loves yakiniku has heard of it at least once. I remember being very impressed when I first came here with a friend during my early days as a working adult. At that time, the restaurant had a rating of over 4 on Tabelog, and I remember it being in the top 5 of yakiniku rankings in Tokyo. Before going, I thought, "It's a bit expensive. Well, compared to other top-ranked restaurants, it might be cheaper." But after eating, my thoughts completely changed to "Is this really yakiniku? Can you eat something this delicious at this price?" It's been about 10 years since then, and I made a reservation to visit for a celebration. I actually wanted to visit the nearby "Hanare", but currently "Hanare" has a higher rating and it's difficult to make a reservation, so I couldn't get through on the phone and luckily got a reservation at the Hongo-ten. We ordered Wagyu nigiri, zabuton, nohara-yaki, sankaku kalbi, yukke-style sliced roast beef, and sesame sauce cold noodles. Once again, the zabuton (3,650 yen) and nohara-yaki (ask) that I absolutely wanted to eat did not disappoint. Zabuton is a cut of meat from the rib side of the shoulder loin, with a lot of marbling, but no greasiness, strong flavor, or odor, just an elegant sweetness that melts in your mouth. Nohara-yaki is thinly sliced sirloin marinated in a sweet and savory sauce, quickly seared, then eaten with raw egg, and well, this was also more delicious than expected. The umami and sweetness of the meat, the sweetness and spiciness of the sauce, and the sweetness and creaminess of the egg come together to create the ultimate sukiyaki experience. Among the dishes we tried this time, the Wagyu nigiri was also very delicious. As I recall, when it comes to the food, I think this restaurant exceeds a rating of 4, but it's currently at 3.80. It used to be over 4, and I personally gave it a 4.4, but this time, there were quite a few disappointing aspects in terms of service (I think they're still new, though), and I somehow felt that the reason for the lower rating might be related to the level of service. Personally, I don't want to give a rating of over 4 unless I'm satisfied with all aspects, not just the taste, so this time I'll rate it as 3.9. Next time, I'll try my best to make a reservation call to visit the highly rated "Hanare". Thank you for the meal.

I spend about 90% of my annual yakiniku experience at this restaurant. They never make mistakes with the meat preparation, and their sauce and grilling are top-notch. It's always perfect. The restaurant can be a bit chilly in the summer, so it's better to have a light jacket. They open promptly at 5:00 PM.

I was able to make a same-day reservation and had to go... It was my first time at the Honjo branch. I used to go to the Shirokanetakanawa branch a lot for a while. It has a different atmosphere and it's nice. The restaurant was fully booked as soon as it opened! Even though it was a weekday, there were many reservations coming in one after another. There are quite a few staff members, so it seems like every table is starting their meal smoothly. The tongue is served with dashi broth instead of lemon juice. It is thinly sliced and tender! The raw liver is flavored with citrus and tastes like a Chinese jellyfish appetizer. It's a summer-like dish. The kalbi and harami are also beautifully presented and have a refined taste. The yakiniku is carefully grilled by the staff. The aroma and richness of the egg. The beef tendon and egg over rice were exquisite! It is necessary while waiting for the meat to cook. Personally, I highly recommend it.

Jumbo! The regular roast beef and heart are delicious!! I also like the Shabazuke yaki! For the finale, there are 4 items! Omelette rice, curry, and two types of cold noodles! I especially like the jumbo omelette rice. It has a fair amount of ketchup and a strong ketchup flavor in the rice, with a thick layer of egg on top, and the sauce on top is also delicious. The curry is also really good. Some people have mixed feelings about the cold noodles, but I personally like them. The bill comes out to 8000 yen per person, which is reasonable! By skipping the slightly more expensive finale dishes like Nohara yaki, which require advance reservation, you can eat such delicious meat until you're stuffed for less than 10,000 yen. It's the best. This is a restaurant I want to visit regularly.

I wonder why I haven't been here before, even though it's so close to my place. The drinkable yakiniku must refer to the meat here. We had two plates of kimchi, wild goose skewers, special top tongue, liver, misuji, tomahawk, brian, makikalbi, kuppas, soup, garlic grill, special cold noodles, and drinks. I had over 10 beers and sours by myself! I am completely satisfied with a full stomach. It's a two-hour limit from 5 p.m., but I couldn't eat anymore. It's clear that it's difficult to make a reservation here.

Hongo store was visited after a long time. While Jumbo Hanare has a private room with a luxurious feel, the Hongo store feels like a regular yakiniku restaurant, which is reassuring haha. Both places are hard to reserve though. This time, I made an online reservation to secure a table and gyudon, and then called to request meat with a budget of 10,000 yen. Gyudon, Nohara-yaki, Wagyu nigiri, Harami, Makikarubi, and special cold noodles were ordered. Kimchi, cold noodles, and drinks were extra. The Gyudon, Wagyu Tongue, Nohara-yaki, Wagyu nigiri Harami, Makikarubi, and special cold noodles were delicious. As always, Jumbo's tongue is delicious! Personally, the tongue sashimi at Yuuji in Shibuya and Jumbo's tongue yakiniku are the best. Jumbo's all menu items are delicious, and I like that they cook the meat properly like a proper yakiniku restaurant. The Nohara-yaki and Wagyu nigiri are cooked by the staff, so there is no room for error. The other meats also have short cooking times, and the attention to detail in recommending the cooking time down to the second is wonderful. The meat and presentation are really beautiful. There are so many good things to say about this place. I have used it for celebrations, farewell parties, and other special occasions in the past, and I still want to use it in the future because of the quality. Every time I eat this meat, I feel like it was worth working hard to get here! Thank you for the meal!

I didn't have time to take photos of the food with my boss, so I only have a picture of the restaurant from outside. The specialty dish, "No Hara Yaki," was delicious, but all the other meats were also excellent. In particular, the tongue and heart were light and you could eat as many pieces as you wanted!

The meat is very good but overall it is too salty. Compared to the Shirokane branch, the seasoning was completely different. I thought it was a shame that the salty taste overpowered the flavor of the meat. The Upper Harami is very tender and breaks apart in your mouth without much chewing.

It's been 2 and a half years since I last had Jumbo Yakiniku. The famous Nohara Yaki was still incredibly delicious and gave me goosebumps! The "Gyudon" that was added to the menu in recent years was a first for me, and it was so delicious that I was in ecstasy! Jumbo is still the best! I was taken to this beloved yakiniku restaurant by a senior colleague over a decade ago, and I was so impressed by its deliciousness that I started visiting regularly. Even when I was stationed overseas, I would make reservations and visit every time I returned home. Recently, I haven't been able to make reservations, but it's still incredibly delicious. The Namul assortment (¥1,000), Black Wagyu Tongue (¥2,500), Heart (¥1,350), Nohara Yaki with raw egg (¥2,250 per slice), Sirloin (¥1,500), Harami (¥2,300), Top Mino (¥1,200), Gyudon small (¥11,000), Iwajuniku Tontoro Nanashichiyaki (¥1,050), Shabazou Yaki (¥1,750). The tongue and heart at the beginning were so delicious and satisfying! The Nohara Yaki is a Sukiyaki-style meat that you can find in many yakiniku restaurants these days, and the staff grills it for you, but I still think Jumbo's version is the most delicious. Well, it's over 2,000 yen per slice, so it's only natural. And then there's the Gyudon. This is a specialty that requires advance reservations. The rice is cooked in a Staub enamel pot with plenty of grilled meat fat and butter, topped with diced fillet steak. This is definitely delicious! Even the small size costs over 10,000 yen and is not cheap, but it's so delicious that I'm sure I'll order it every time. By the way, even in the small size, it was a size that four people could eat two servings each, so I was very satisfied. The ripe draft beer is 720 yen, the Maruefu draft beer is 690 yen, the Miyagikyo highball is 890 yen, and the Japanese Makgeolli is 1,960 yen per bottle, so the drink prices are reasonable. It's convenient that you can now make reservations not only by phone but also through Table Check (I wonder if this has been available for a while). However, it has become significantly more difficult to make reservations, as it is delicious and reasonably priced. If you want to secure a reservation during peak hours, you may have to book more than a month in advance, or make a reservation first and then find members to join you later.

Visited a yakiniku restaurant in Tokyo known for being the best in town. The place was bustling, and I eagerly awaited the arrival of the meat. Each piece of meat that came out was beautiful, and it melted in my mouth in an instant. The signature clay pot rice was also amazing! I could eat it endlessly! I will definitely go back again!

We visited the restaurant with four people on Wednesday at 9:00 PM. We made a reservation a week ago. The quality of the meat was top-notch and it melted in our mouths. The grilled field was especially delicious. The staff recommended the heart, which was also tasty. We thought that good meat would be greasy, but we were surprised that it wasn't the case here. The prices are on the higher side, but we would love to visit again.
