When you want to drink but you're short on cash, En is a convenient option. This time, it's my first visit to the Sapporo Nishiguchi branch. It's located on the second floor next to Miabocca near Yodobashi Camera. I found a coupon on Hot Pepper for 500 yen all-you-can-drink for 90 minutes if you enter the store after 9 pm! It seems to be a limited offer at this store. En has different coupons at each location, so be sure to check. At 9 pm, the store is quite crowded. Students seem to stand out a bit. Let's cheers with a beer first. The appetizer is the classic potato salad. Now, what should we eat? I found the Nishiguchi branch's exclusive chicken harami skewer for only 90 yen! And of course, En is known for its red motsu skewers. What kind of tsukune should we have? It seems like there are various toppings available at the Nishiguchi branch. Let's each choose our favorite with a friend. Curry, mustard mayo, black pepper, and spicy. And let's also order the pork belly and tofu salad. The chicken harami is like the neck meat, but if you like offal, you'll love it! A rare cut, with good fat content, it's amazing. The red motsu skewer is perfect as always! The pork belly is also delicious. As for the tsukune...the curry is average. But not spicy, so it's okay for kids. The mustard mayo is as expected. The black pepper is also like that. The spicy one...it's quite spicy (laughs) If you don't like spicy food, be careful. I ate it, but my friend was in tears (laughs). The tofu salad has a sesame dressing. Tofu and sesame go well together. And finally, the ponpochi karaage. This might be a menu item unique to this branch as well. It's a bit oily, but if you like it, you'll love it. This is a popular restaurant near the west exit of Sapporo Station, across from Bic Camera. I joined the group late, so my energy level was a bit low, and I ended up taking on the role of photographer. The restaurant is tucked away, but surprisingly busy until the last train. While yakitori and hot pot seem to be popular choices, I recommend going for the seafood options in Hokkaido. The clams and tachipon were delicious. The yakitori was only okay, but the zangi (fried chicken) was actually better.

It was crowded on Friday. A popular chain store in Hokkaido. The raw tsukune was delicious! If the drinks came out a little faster, it would have been perfect. Thank you for the meal!
