Wow, "Kushitori" is really something! I wasn't that drunk, so I remember everything. We went there with my wife, just the two of us, and she was saying, "It's been a while since we last came here." I've been to "Kushitori" alone three times after going with my wife, but I never thought, "Today was good." However, today was a great choice of restaurant. When we left the third place, my wife wasn't even thinking about going to a fourth place, and I knew that without her saying anything. She knew I wouldn't just quietly go home. "Shall we go to 'Kushitori'?" she said. I would have been fine with 'Kushitori' or any other place. We sat at the counter, which is usually crowded and hard to get a seat at 'Kushitori,' but today we were able to. I ordered beer, my wife ordered beer, and I ordered a sweet potato shochu with less hot water. When I said "strong," they had to put more shochu, so I said "less hot water," but they brought it with less shochu instead. It was too hot to drink and didn't taste like shochu at all. I told the waitress, "I said less hot water," and she brought the guy who made it. I explained to him, but he didn't understand, and it turned into an argument about hot water. I gave up and said, "Forget it!" After that, there were more incidents, and my wife seemed upset, taking it out on me. I guess I have to reflect on my actions sometimes. But today... well. The beer poured by someone who doesn't care about it is often not good, and my wife and I exchanged a wry smile. "Look, there's mochi bacon," as if I thought that would improve the mood. I ordered the mochi bacon. The mochi was soft and unpleasant, not because I was overjoyed, but because the texture was not mochi-like. The bacon was okay, but the mochi bacon here stands out for its cheapness. The chicken skewers are big and delicious, with a normal taste that's quite satisfying. On the other hand, the pork skewers have poor quality meat, but the taste is okay, so it's fine. But the quail eggs are what you should order. Don't put them on the same plate. Well, it seems like it's better to go home now. Let's go home.
