At a sushi restaurant in Susukino. All dishes are served in courses, so I made a reservation for the 5,500 yen course. Starting with a Sapporo Black Label beer (small bottle) for 700 yen, the course began. The 5,500 yen course (with a 10% discount with a coupon from Tabelog). Tempura (deep-fried shiba shrimp and new onion) - crispy texture and delicious sauce on top. The sauce is a mixture of olive oil mayonnaise with smoked pickled radish, pickled radish, and pickled plum. Sashimi (Misaki bluefin tuna, Amakusa red snapper, Kaike salmon, Hanro sweet shrimp) - the bluefin tuna was fatty and the red snapper had a good texture. The soy sauce used is made with the dried fish stock of Shikoku's sweetfish, showing attention to detail. Chawanmushi - topped with caviar. They used Royal Greenland caviar generously. Inside the chawanmushi are chicken, bamboo shoots, and chestnuts. The smooth chawanmushi with flavorful caviar makes it a luxurious dish. I felt like having sake so I ordered "Kunimare Onigoroshi" for 800 yen. Followed by "Ooyama Extra Dry" for 700 yen. Grilled dish (dried Karashi flounder, grilled chicken wings) - the grilled chicken wings were the only meat dish, with a solid seasoning and good aroma. Vinegared dish (bonito, squid, crab claw) - vegetables include shiso leaves, green onions, and cucumbers. The chef said, "Mix it well before eating." Myoga is also included as a condiment for a refreshing taste. Simmered dish (mackerel simmered with plums) - cooked with soy sauce and plums. It has a nice aroma and the burdock is cooked soft. Nigiri sushi (Kaike salmon, Amakusa red snapper, Misaki bluefin tuna, Ehime natural horse mackerel, seared fresh herring) - the sushi rice is made with Okayama natural cultivation rice "Asahi." It has large grains and low stickiness, suitable for sushi rice. The slices are quite thick, and the seared fresh herring was very delicious. The soup was "Aosanori soup," and dessert was "melon and sakuramochi," concluding the course. The chef's explanations about the dishes were accurate, and I was able to enjoy the delicious meal. Considering it's a 5,500 yen course, the content was quite fulfilling!

Today I visited this place~ I've been getting closer to the owner recently and regularly visit for golf. I never expected to become such good friends! Since it was the day after the Day of the Ox, I was able to get some delicious eel. I ended up drinking too much again^ ^ There was a painting in the restroom that caught my eye, depicting a woman who looked really familiar. I took a picture of it.

I thought the sushi restaurant was trying hard with various efforts, but when I ordered the course... I sat at the counter and could see the chef's hands clearly. I wished they would be a little more careful. I'll have a draft beer. The crab was a hit or miss, so it couldn't be helped, but the meat and miso were not that great. My friend from out of town enjoyed it, but I wished they had asked before taking the plate away while we were still eating. We didn't have any disappointing dishes, maybe because there are many regular customers. Finally, the closing sushi came out, but it was the same as the first sashimi sushi... It was a bit disappointing. Thank you for the meal.

Today I had a meal with a senior colleague whom I hadn't seen in a while. We had a lot to catch up on, and the alcohol helped the conversation flow smoothly. The chef, whom I am close with, also joined us and we had various interesting discussions while enjoying our food. The warabi (bracken fern) tataki was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating it! I couldn't even manage to eat it as sushi, it was that good! I will definitely visit again soon!

Today, I finally made it to this restaurant ^_^ I was brought here by someone who has been taking care of me a lot recently. They explained the origin and unique points of the appetizers and sushi in detail, which made me happy. The firefly squid from Toyama is large and rich! The herring roe is impressive too. There are about three types of omakase, but they seem willing to accommodate preferences as well! I will definitely visit again soon!

Hello everyone! A friend was interested in a sushi restaurant, so I decided to join them! We went to a place called "Sushidokoro Ryo," where they offer course meals starting from 3,850 yen tax included, with a regular course priced at 5,500 yen tax included. It's a sushi restaurant in Susukino, and the prices are quite reasonable. They only have Asahi beer, with options like Black Label and Super Dry in small bottles. We had a delicious vinegar dish with tofu, salmon roe, saury, surf clam, and scallop. The sashimi included medium fatty tuna, striped jack, surf clam, and squid. The hokki clam was especially good! We also had simmered bamboo shoots and flying fish head, which had a strong salty broth. The shrimp fry was served with tartar sauce, and the sea bass was grilled perfectly. The nigiri sushi included squid, golden eye snapper, medium fatty tuna, and fatty tuna. The red miso soup with dried flounder stomach was a bit too fishy for my taste. For dessert, we had sweet potato and cheese. Overall, the vinegar dish and grilled sea bass were the highlights. The soy sauce dish for the sushi was a bit deep and difficult to use. The quality of the sushi was similar to conveyor belt sushi, but the prices were more affordable. It felt like a casual seafood izakaya experience. Thank you for the meal!

-The vinegar dish with okara contained mackerel, cucumber, herring, and dried squid legs. It was my first time trying the vinegar dish with okara. Delicious!! -Chawanmushi -Sashimi with soy sauce using smoked ayu from the Shimanto River instead of bonito, showing attention to detail. Salt-preserved tuna from Shio-kama, natural live horse mackerel from Ehime, live octopus from Oita, dried squid, char from Rausu, teriyaki trout salmon, all with a good balance of sweetness. Tasty and satisfying. -Take-no-ko from Kagoshima, tofu and grated cod with vegetables fried, okra, carrot, and slimy okra were also delicious. -Shrimp fry with Satsuma Kin and Broccoli on the side, served with Aurora sauce. -Sushi with fatty tuna, medium fatty tuna, herring roe, trout salmon, and steamed golden threadfin bream from Choshi. Personally, I wished for a bit more vinegar taste. The soy sauce was sweet, and dipping was difficult with the deep dish. -Red miso soup with fresh-caught flounder belly. The tea was changed, and for dessert, there was sweet potato cream cheese. The sweet potato was cooked with lemon and oolong tea. You can choose a course that fits your budget. The meals come with explanations of where each ingredient comes from, making it enjoyable to savor each one. The freshness of the fish was outstanding and everything was incredibly delicious. The cost performance of the dishes is excellent. I can't believe such high quality is offered at this price. I really liked this restaurant and would love to go back. The wine selection is also quite extensive, allowing you to choose according to your mood. It was a great dining experience.

I visited "Sushi Dokoro Ryo" in Susukino, Sapporo on a whim this time. The friendly master was running the place on his own, and perhaps because it was early, there were no other customers in the counter-only restaurant. This was my first time using Windows 10, and due to health reasons, the migration took longer than expected. I have resumed liking and commenting on posts. Thank you for your understanding. "Sushi-ya Ryo" is a sushi restaurant located in the Hakuono area of the central district of the city. It opened its doors on February 15, 2019. Due to its recent opening, it was difficult to secure a reservation during the early hours. However, we managed to secure a reservation a few days later. The restaurant only offers three omakase courses priced at 5,000 yen, 7,000 yen, and 10,000 yen. Initially, only the 7,000 yen course was available. Naturally, we made a reservation for that course and visited for dinner with my usual companion. The restaurant is located on the 6th floor of the Maple Street building in the Hakuono area of Sapporo's central district. For the exact location, please check on Tabelog. The 6th floor of the building houses three different establishments, including "Sushi-ya Ryo." The interior of the restaurant is compact, with a seating capacity of 8 at the counter and 2 tables. There were 6 patrons before us and 5 after us. As we had a reservation, we were served promptly starting from the appetizer. We enjoyed some beer and glass wine. The omakase course included various dishes such as appetizers, salad, sashimi, grilled dish, simmered dish, tempura, steamed dish, nigiri sushi, soup, and dessert. The price for the course was 7,560 yen including tax. The quality of the dishes exceeded our expectations. Particularly, the simmered dish, grilled dish, tempura, soup, and steamed dish were exceptionally delicious, showcasing the skill of the chef. The price was reasonable, and the overall dining experience left us satisfied. Although the restaurant is still new and may have some room for improvement, the quality of the food and the value for money make it worth a visit. We look forward to trying the omakase course again in the future. Delicious and thank you for the meal!

I ordered takeout, but the lack of consideration was unexpected from a sushi restaurant. The sushi was packed tightly together, causing the toppings to harden like onigiri, and the flavors to mix together. To make matters worse, they placed chawanmushi on top of the sushi during delivery. The lack of consideration made the sushi lukewarm. I was disappointed by the poor service that didn't feel like a sushi restaurant. I don't think I will ever go back to a sushi restaurant that lacks consideration.
