I made a reservation to have delicious sushi in Ginza and visited for lunch. I had the chef's choice for lunch. I enjoyed a draft beer and sudachi juice. The dishes were skillfully prepared by the chef. I had sesame tofu, shirako, and spring chrysanthemum, as well as fresh and creamy raw oysters. The sashimi included mackerel, flounder, and squid. They recommended eating them with wasabi and salt, and the salt made them incredibly delicious. The sushi, especially the medium fatty tuna, cuttlefish, and conger eel, were exceptionally tasty. The conger eel had a fluffy texture that was a new experience for me. I was satisfied with everything, including the dried gourd roll and egg. The dessert, black honey with roasted soybean flour, was also excellent. This is definitely a restaurant I will visit again.

The omakase course at night, including draft beer and 1 cup of sake, totaled around 23,000 yen. The dishes included eggplant and shrimp in jelly with sea urchin on top, cold noodles, grilled red snapper with creamy eggplant, sashimi of bonito and flounder, tender octopus simmered, fresh Tasmanian oysters, grilled cutlassfish, grilled saury, marinated red snapper, horse mackerel, Ishigaki clam, shrimp, sea urchin, salmon roe rice bowl, tamago (egg) and eel roll, and kanpyo (gourd strip) roll. The reviewer found the portions generous, but felt that the quality was just average for the price in Ginza, with some shrimp still having shells. They appreciated the ease of making a reservation for dinner, as they had enjoyed the lunch at the same restaurant before.

The building of the restaurant doesn't have much atmosphere, but inside it is calm. I had the live oyster changed to sandfish, and the red sea bream marinated in kelp was the best. Overall, compared to other sushi restaurants, it's okay. There were some minor issues like the waitstaff accidentally bumping into my shoulder a few times, which made it hard to fully relax and enjoy the meal. However, they didn't make any major mistakes, so if you're lucky, the food will be delicious.

I visited this restaurant for the first time with a reservation from a friend. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very much like Ginza, with a long counter right after getting off the elevator. There were four chefs working at the counter, and although there were quite a few dishes, the food came out at a fast pace, and before I knew it, the meal was over in about 90 minutes. I wish I could have eaten at a slower pace.

"Buri Mon" Ginza
Hello, it's Mogusuke! The password is "Delicious has 0 calories!" Today's post is about the restaurant "Buri Mon" that I visited recently in Ginza.
This high-end Edomae sushi restaurant in Ginza has a stylish space with a cool red counter and a spacious, elegant main counter. They also offer lunch. I chose the omakase course for a special occasion like an important business meeting, date, or birthday, and everything was delicious! Remember, delicious has 0 calories! Be sure to stop by when you're in Ginza.

Sushi in Ginza. It's a dream come true for someone from Osaka ♡ I visited with my family. The interior is mainly red and black, creating a calm atmosphere where we could relax. The service was prompt and all the dishes were delicious. It seems like they use different soy sauces for each dish. The rice was probably the same for all. However, I felt like there were fewer high-end ingredients in the sushi. But that's understandable during lunchtime. The prices are a bit higher compared to Kansai, but the alcohol was reasonably priced and the service was excellent. It seems like they used to be in the top 100 restaurants! They also have private rooms, so it's a great place for families to visit without feeling out of place.

A course for 18,700 yen. With 4-5 highballs, it comes to 25,000 yen (tax included). This was my 7th or 8th visit, and it always meets expectations. The appetizers and sushi come out alternately. There are no standout dishes that make you gasp, and the portions are on the smaller side. The last dish, dried gourd roll, somehow makes you feel satisfied. But with sea urchin and salmon roe included, it's worth the 25,000 yen. What bothered me was that the plates were cleared too quickly, and there was no mention of whether they could be taken away or not. This kind of service is rare for a Ginza restaurant. It's the little things like this that prevent them from becoming a top-notch establishment. Even at a chain restaurant like Saizeriya, they at least ask if they can clear the plates. This is unheard of at other regular spots in Ginza. On the other hand, it's easy to make a reservation at this small restaurant with 3-4 chefs. It's good to know for future reference.

In Ginza, it feels relatively casual. We couldn't get seats at the counter, and the small seats felt more like no atmosphere rather than private rooms. There was no place to put our belongings. Honestly, it was the first time I had such cramped seats at a sushi restaurant. The food consisted of alternating sushi and appetizers. That kind of serving style is also an option. The taste was good, and the course content was satisfying. There weren't many drink options that I liked. The service was average. The negative aspects of the service stood out because the food was good. Thank you for the meal.

This famous restaurant allows you to experience the essence of Edomae sushi. It is more affordable to go for lunch than dinner, so I recommend trying Ginza sushi during lunch time! The majority of customers are women. Well, there are probably fewer gentlemen drinking sake while eating sushi during the day because they are working.

I was recommended by a friend to celebrate my birthday eve with a lunch at this restaurant, and it was a very delicious and happy time. I made a reservation online and was seated at a table although I preferred a counter seat. I didn't specify, so it couldn't be helped. I usually don't like wasabi, but I didn't mind it at all and actually enjoyed the flavor. We ordered a course meal and added a request for nodoguro, which was amazing with its firm texture and the delicious aroma from searing the skin. The serving style varied at the table - sometimes one piece at a time, sometimes two pieces, which felt a bit disappointing as it didn't fully reflect the high-class ambiance of Ginza. I also felt that being seated at a table might have been due to my young appearance, to maintain the restaurant's dignity. We had 3 cups of dry sake, which enhanced the deliciousness of the sushi. The course meal was filling for me as a woman, but my companion, a man, wanted more food. The mature male staff, who mentioned that he was helping out today, spoke kindly and casually, which I found nice. It was surprising at first, but I didn't feel uncomfortable. However, I felt a bit out of place at times, so it might be a while before I visit again. The food was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I always use it for lunch! Ginza Buri Mon 10,000 - A sushi restaurant that never disappoints! The first shrimp with kelp that comes with the sushi is irresistible... Every time, it makes me sigh with happiness. ⭐️5⭐️ I want to visit again. I love it so much that I don't want to tell anyone. ⭐️4⭐️ If someone asks for a recommendation, I will introduce this place. The first sushi meal of 2023 was at the famous restaurant "Ginza Buri Mon" located in the same building as "Tempura Kondo" in Ginza 5-chome. This place, open year-round, was already fully booked early in the new year! Everyone seemed to have the same idea. The long red counter seats were lovely. However, this time we visited with 4 people and had a private room for a New Year's party. We started with champagne (Perrier Jouet) and enjoyed the Buri Mon course, which included sesame tofu, Tasmanian oysters, nanohana with kazunoko, and a variety of nigiri sushi. The quality was outstanding, with each ingredient tasting fresh and the craftsmanship evident in every piece. The square pickled ginger was also delicious. The presentation was beautiful, and the staff were very kind. We ended up enjoying some sake as well, making it a fun New Year's party. Knowing this information can be helpful for future visits.

Located on the 6th floor of a building on the tree-lined street of Ginza Gochome, this restaurant has a surprisingly spacious interior with a long red counter that leaves a strong impression. There is no background music playing. I booked the Buri Mon lunch course on OneTwoTrip for 7,865 yen including tax, which includes 3 appetizers, 8 pieces of sushi, as well as rolls, egg, soup, and dessert. The menu includes sesame tofu, simmered gelatin, nanohana with kazunoko, shrimp and kombu, saba, sumi-ika, kinmedai, honmaguro zuke, kohada, ikura, anago, nori roll, tamago, and dessert warabi mochi. Considering the location in Ginza and the price, I think it is a very satisfying meal. I also ordered champagne and sake separately. Another great sushi lunch experience to add to the list.

Having dinner in Ginza with a friend after a long time. The reservation was made at "Sushi Ginza Buri Mon". It's a 5-minute walk from Ginza Station, located on the 6th floor of a building with around 38 seats including the counter. The bright red counter is very impressive! We started with a toast with champagne. The appetizer was a dish with plenty of crab and crab miso. Of course, we ordered sake to go with it. The sushi and side dishes were served alternately. First, we had shiny tuna. Then, a steamed egg custard. The sashimi was sea bream. Followed by thickly sliced bonito. The squid was topped with plenty of Karasumi! The sweet sauce also paired well. Next, we enjoyed fresh oysters. Then, a favorite of mine, cutlassfish. The thin skin was crispy, and the flesh was plump and sweet. The beautiful pink sea bream came next. Followed by mackerel. Salmon was a rare treat. The tender squid was delicious. The horse mackerel had a nice fatty texture. And then, medium fatty tuna. The turban shell had a good chewy texture and bounce. A small bowl of rich sea urchin with popping salmon roe. Fluffy conger eel with a refreshing sauce, savoring each bite. The fragrant thick rolled omelet. Finished off with a rolled sushi with kanpyo. Despite being in Ginza, it was a casual sushi restaurant where we could enjoy ourselves. They also seem to serve lunch, so I would like to come back for that. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I felt like eating sushi and was able to make a same-day reservation at this place. It was convenient to use Go To Eat Tokyo. I originally wanted to sit at the counter, but since it was a same-day reservation, I ended up at a table. However, they brought out about 2 pieces at a time even at the table, so I was able to enjoy almost freshly made sushi, which was great.

I came here with friends for a drinking party. Since we had a large group, we opted for the chef's choice in a private room. The sushi, using three different types of soy sauce for each type of fish, was exquisite, bringing out the maximum flavor and texture of each piece. The seared kawahagi liver was amazing, the buri shabu-shabu was perfectly cooked with a delicious broth, and the incredibly rich and creamy raw oysters, fluffy hatahata and anago, and perfectly seasoned large ikura were all outstanding. We paired our meal with sake from the same brewery as Natsuko Monogatari and Ginban Komenosu, and the Ginban Komenosu had a rich rice flavor with a smooth and irresistible taste. The staff were attentive, even though we were in a private room, refilling our water and pickled ginger without us even noticing, and casually joining in on our conversations. The spacious and cozy atmosphere made for a delightful sushi experience. I look forward to trying the counter seats next time.

The freshness was not great, probably because it was a Sunday. Overall, the fish had a strong fishy smell that bothered me. The portion size was average. It felt like the volume was reduced, similar to Sushi Tokyo Ten. The rice was lukewarm and lacked vinegar flavor, which was not to my liking. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and the customers were calm, so the ambiance was good. However, when it comes to sushi, taste is key. Considering the location, the price may be considered cheap, but I feel like for this price, the quality could be better or they could consider changing locations.

I was looking for a sushi lunch in Ginza and finally visited a restaurant that I had secretly bookmarked. Since I didn't specify the counter when making a reservation, I was automatically seated in a private room. Due to the pandemic, having a private room was very much appreciated. The course included three appetizers, followed by 8 pieces of sushi, a soup, and dessert. At first, I thought it might not be enough for us, but the pace of serving the dishes in small portions and at a good interval was just right. If we were sitting at the counter, we might have finished the course at a lightning speed. The sushi that stood out to me were the marinated angel prawn, swordtip squid, akami, kohada, madai, buri, ikura rice, anago, hoshikama, tamago, and torotaku maki. When I saw the bill, I realized that this lunch course was really a great deal. The torotaku maki was quite expensive! I would love to revisit this restaurant again in a different season.

I visited the restaurant on the same day after making a phone reservation. The reservation process was very good! The service was also excellent, with a very attentive female staff member. The meal included angel shrimp with kelp, bluefin tuna belly, bluefin tuna akami, pickled white squid, hirame (flatfish), ikura (salmon roe) on rice, ryukyu (Okinawan) anago (conger eel) instead of anago, kanpyo (dried gourd strips) maki, tamagoyaki (rolled omelette), miso soup, and dessert. I believe it was around 10,000 yen per person for this meal. Good value for money, delicious taste, definitely will repeat! ✨✨

The daytime omakase course is very cost-effective. Getting this much variety in a course at this price in Ginza is very satisfying. The alcohol was flowing, so in the end, it ended up being a pretty pricey lunch... but for two people, having draft beer and 3 servings of sake at this price is a good deal. There are plenty of seats, so it's easy to make a reservation and convenient to use. On this day, the sardines and spring child were especially delicious.
