High performance! Enjoy a luxurious sushi lunch at a reasonable price at "Sushi Tokyo Ten"! This restaurant is part of the Ten Stars Dining Group, which also operates popular teppanyaki restaurants like Ten in Ginza and Shibuya. Sushi Tokyo Ten can be found in Shibuya, Roppongi, and Yokohama. Located in the food hall of Shinjuku NEWoman, surrounded by stylish modern restaurants. Among them, this unique restaurant offers a great value sushi lunch course! Each sushi and dish is of high quality, and if you sit at the counter, each piece is prepared and served right in front of you, which adds to the excitement. Personally, I was particularly impressed by the sea urchin, fatty tuna, and amberjack. The sashimi slices were thick and allowed me to fully savor each type of fish, with different seasonings like lemon and salt, and wasabi adding variety to the flavors. A luxurious sushi lunch, it was pure bliss. Highly satisfying and delicious sushi, so be sure to try it out! Note that this course is only available for weekday lunches!

Located just a 1-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, this popular restaurant is almost always fully booked with inbound reservations. The quality of the ingredients and the Edo-style craftsmanship are superb. You can sit back and enjoy delicious sushi being served at a good pace. I always think that it's an experience that discerning Japanese people should have. The menu includes clam soup, mozuku seaweed, blackthroat seaperch, flounder with kelp, bonito with onion soy sauce marinade, white shrimp, dried conger eel, grilled yellowtail, abalone, scallop, silver cod marinated in miso, fresh salmon roe with soy sauce, crunchy sea squirt, boiled turban shell, boiled peanuts, marinated lean tuna, sea urchin, eel and scallion roll, rolled omelette, and rolled gourd strips. A glass of grape highball costs 9,548 yen. The cost performance is excellent. It's a shame to reserve this paradise only for inbound customers! Let's reclaim it, Japanese people!

I made a reservation for the omakase course at 5:30 pm on a weekday for 8800 yen including tax. Reservations seem to be necessary. It seems that walk-ins are okay after 7 pm. About 70-80% of the customers are inbound. The alcohol menu is only in English, and the brands of shochu and sake are unknown. The sushi is good, but the chef talks a lot. Despite the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the chef often speaks without a mask, even during peak flu season. When the virus is under control, I will visit again for the crispy nori and good quality sushi.

I made a reservation a month ago. They keep serving various dishes as you sit down. Sashimi, grilled swordfish, bonito, scallops, white shrimp, kohada, tuna, abalone, and clam. The emerald-colored abalone liver was very delicious. They don't serve chawanmushi, which is nice. The meal ended with cold grapes. They seem to offer seconds, but I was already full. The pickled ginger was also delicious. Depending on the time, you might be able to walk in without a reservation, but most people were turned away. It's not difficult to make a reservation, so give it a try. There are many foreigners. The chef also gave us instructions in English. It's more casual than a high-end restaurant, but they serve good dishes.

This was my first time coming for lunch! It was delicious as always! If I had to say what was delicious, it would be the seared fatty tuna, dried conger eel, white shrimp, sea urchin, maybe? No, the salmon roe was also delicious, the scallop was big and amazing, hmm... everything was great. I also had beer and sake (Nanakins) which was fantastic. It was a great way to show filial piety through the bonus return plan, and my parents were very happy, which was the best part. - - - Clam broth, seared fatty tuna, pickled turnip, edamame, red sea bream, salmon roe soy sauce marinated, dried conger eel, pickled bitter gourd, kohada, amberjack, abalone, golden eye snapper, white shrimp, scallop, cod roe, ark shell, lean tuna, fatty tuna, sea urchin, green onion and tuna, clam miso soup, eel and egg without seeds, Kyoho grape.

I made a reservation at this restaurant. When I made the reservation, they mentioned that a course for 8000 yen was available, so I booked a table for 12:30, 15 minutes later. The restaurant is part of a complex and there were customers waiting outside. The course had a variety of options, including expensive items like abalone, sea urchin, and salmon roe, which seemed like a good deal. However, the pace of the meal was quite fast. Even though they mentioned a 90-minute time limit, we ended up leaving after about an hour. The fish was fresh and delicious. Interestingly, there were many foreign customers. Personally, I felt that the seaweed was a bit tough to chew. Also, there was no menu, so we could only see the prices of drinks on the receipt after paying. Considering the quality of the course and the price, I think some inconvenience is acceptable.

I decided to take my junior colleague, who I often rely on, out for a meal and asked if there was anything they wanted to eat. They said they wanted sushi, so I took them to "SUSHI TOKYO TEN," a place I had been curious about. At the table, I was asked to pay in advance with a card, and then later the amount was refunded. The menu included clam soup, seared fatty tuna, belt fish, bonito, mozuku seaweed, flounder, sardine meatball soup, scallop seaweed roll, cod roe, shellfish, abalone with yuzu, eel, salmon roe, tuna, sweet shrimp, sea urchin, conger eel, sweet omelette, and clam miso soup. Overall, despite my clumsy review, the amount of food was quite generous, and at around 10,000 yen per person, it was quite affordable. I am satisfied with the experience!

The staff are all clean-shaven and have a great sense of cleanliness! I come here often and always leave with a full stomach. I enjoy drinking and snacking while the staff pour plenty of beer for us to cheers with. The conversations are fun and the cost performance is great. Thank you for the delicious meals every time.

During both day and night, this sushi restaurant operates with an omakase course only concept, which I think is an invention that was not seen before. It's just so easygoing. You can sit at the counter and focus on your meal and conversation without worrying about ordering or paying the bill. This stress-free experience might be even better than conveyor belt sushi. That's why the sushi enjoyed here is fun, and of course, delicious. It's surprising that you can have a light drink at night for just around 10,000 yen, making it quite a bargain, but I think it's best to take advantage of this place for a slightly luxurious lunch to fully appreciate its charms. We were able to walk in without a reservation during the pandemic, but now you really need to make a reservation in advance. I almost forgot, but it wasn't easy to dine at popular restaurants in Tokyo, right? It's good that things are returning to normal. Thank you for always providing delicious and enjoyable sushi time. Thank you for the meal.

Recently, there has been a growing number of high-end sushi restaurants where you may be surprised by the bill, but this place is always reliable. They start with a clam soup to soothe your stomach. Then they serve sushi and appetizers, mixing them up as they bring them out. The quality is high, and for this price, it's very satisfying. The vinegared rice has a gentle salty flavor, with firm grains that melt in your mouth. Reservations can be made online, and they even send a reminder the day before. It's not surprising that there are many foreigners here. I definitely want to keep coming back regularly.

I had the lunch omakase course at "SUSHI TOKYO TEN" in Shinjuku Station✨ The portion was generous and I was very satisfied with the uni, toro, abalone, and ikura. Some of the sushi pieces were a bit so-so, but overall it was a great experience in the lively restaurant area of Shinjuku. #sushi #ShinjukuGourmet #TokyoGourmet #FoodieWanted

This is my third visit to the Shinjuku location. I had previously visited the Roppongi location, but it seems like there are more people lining up at the Shinjuku location. Today, my friend went ahead around 11 o'clock and it was already full... Luckily, we were able to secure a reservation for 12:30 if we waited. We arrived at the scheduled time and were able to enter. About 80% of the people around us were foreigners, giving it an international vibe. The lunch reservation cost around 8,000 yen per person, the same as dinner. We had beers and a bottle of white wine, and the total for two people came to around 23,000 yen. The meal started with clam soup and dishes kept coming one after another based on when we finished each course. Although I have been here a few times, the lineup seems to be almost the same each time. I wonder if the dessert changes depending on the season. Looking at other people's photos, it seems like the sushi and rolls may vary in appearance each time. We ate at lunchtime, but there was so much food that we didn't feel hungry even by evening. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of the salmon roe and dessert before eating them...

I always used to visit this restaurant without a reservation, but this time I made a reservation through their website for the first time. It turned out to be a great decision. They were turning away most of the walk-in customers. I visited during the middle of Golden Week, at lunchtime, with a friend who had come back to Tokyo after a long time. Shinjuku was full of tourists from overseas, and the chef was even speaking in English! From May, the course price has been adjusted to ¥8470 (including tax). However, the slight price increase was justified by the overall satisfaction of the experience. The course included over 20 different items, including soup and dessert. My favorite this time was the ikura (salmon roe) with Matsumae-zuke (pickles). I never imagined that ikura and Matsumae-zuke could blend together so well. The negitoro (minced tuna with green onion) hand roll was also surprising with the addition of onion. I also learned a unique way that this restaurant refers to a highball drink. This sushi restaurant is perfect for various occasions, whether with friends, family, or a date. Thank you for another delicious meal!

I arrived around 12:30 on Sunday without a reservation and they managed to squeeze us in just in time for one group. The restaurant was fully booked with reservations, and there were many foreign customers. The seats were a bit cramped. They only offer a 7700 yen course, so you don't know what you'll get. The food came out quickly, which was great for me as I don't drink alcohol. There were a surprising 21 dishes in total! The clam soup was plentiful, and they even served abalone and oysters. The abalone was tender and delicious, and all the sushi was amazing. I was completely satisfied and would like to come back on a weekday with a reservation to enjoy it at a more leisurely pace.

I went to this restaurant in NEWoMan. The 7700 yen omakase course started with a rich clam soup. The soup was flavorful even though there were no clams in it (clams were served separately later). Sushi started with scallops. Various small sushi dishes were served at a good pace, with intervals of seaweed, abalone, tofu, and other dishes to enjoy. The sushi came with soy sauce or salt already added, so you could eat it as is. Since it was a counter seat, I couldn't take pictures of everything, but I thoroughly enjoyed the course. The restaurant is small with limited seating, and there is always a line during lunchtime. It's better to make a reservation in advance, but I think if you go without a reservation, you can choose a course in the 3000 yen range while being prepared to wait. Overall, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal ☆

We visited a restaurant that we were curious about with four people. The atmosphere and service were casual, but the cost performance of the 25 dishes was good. It's nice to be able to enjoy them easily. The seafood was all fresh and delicious. The sushi rice was not too vinegary and had a firm texture. It's a great deal for 8800 yen. It seems like reservations are only available online. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. I'd like to try their lunch menu as well.

"SUSHI TOKYO TEN" is a top-class sushi restaurant in Tokyo known for its excellent cost performance. With several locations in the city, this up-and-coming sushi restaurant offers a course menu for less than 10,000 yen, which is quite unbelievable. The quality of the food is also top-notch. The white shrimp nigiri and negitoro roll were particularly delicious. Whether it's for a date or a casual meal, this restaurant is definitely worth visiting regularly.

On March 12, 2023, I visited SUSHI TOKYO TEN, located on the 2nd floor of Shinjuku Station's Newoman, which offers only an omakase course. It is a casual version of Sushi Ten in Azabu, and I made a reservation for 1 pm. Upon arrival, I had to wait at the entrance until the reservation time, and once it was time, I was allowed to enter. The place was crowded with foreign customers, likely due to the location in Shinjuku and the recent easing of COVID restrictions. The restaurant is not very spacious as it is located inside a food hall. The restroom is located outside in the shared area of Newoman. I was seated at the counter and asked for my drink order. The menu was all set courses, and I enjoyed a variety of sushi and appetizers, totaling 25 items. The service was in English, catering to the diverse clientele. The quality of the ingredients and the skillful preparation by the chefs impressed me. The eel towards the end was a bit too soft for my liking, but overall, I was satisfied with each dish. The prices for alcohol and soft drinks were reasonable. My top 3 favorites were: 3rd place - seared fatty tuna, 2nd place - sea urchin hand roll, 1st place - fatty tuna. I know it may sound childish, but delicious food is delicious! I will definitely come back again. A tip for those visiting this restaurant in Newoman - during Lumine sales, paying with a Lumine card will give you a 10% discount on the bill. So, I might visit here about 4 times a year, haha.

Many foreign customers, and the restaurant was fully booked with reservations. Unfortunately, we couldn't sit at the counter and had to sit at a table for sushi. Nowadays, many sushi restaurants offer hand rolls, but I prefer the thin rolls with ingredients like dried gourd strips and fatty tuna. The seaweed was a bit tough, which was disappointing. We started with clam soup and drinks, followed by excellent red tuna nigiri and delicious seared Spanish mackerel. The scallop was good, but I wished it had more wasabi or sweet sauce. The natural mozuku was tasty. The nigiri included amberjack and sea bass, both delicious. The appetizers were pickled cod roe with wasabi and sea urchin liver, which were okay. The grilled flounder with miso was good, and the salmon roe and marinated herring nigiri were enjoyable. The medium fatty tuna with green onions was delicious, but the northern octopus was just okay. The white shrimp nigiri lacked sweetness. The fish ball soup was good, and the butterfish and egg nigiri were disappointing. The dried gourd hand roll was trendy but not as good as thin rolls. The last tea was a letdown, tasting like plain hot water with a hint of flavor. The restaurant is located in the food court area under the Busta Shinjuku near Shinjuku Station, with a trendy atmosphere and many foreign customers. The staff spoke fluent English and introduced the sushi well. The restaurant offers traditional sushi that would seem very affordable to foreigners. It's a great place to enjoy authentic sushi at a reasonable price compared to eating conveyor belt sushi overseas. I wish they would also promote their delicious tea more.

Everyone is right that small amounts of dishes keep coming one after another and they are all delicious and good value for money, so I was very satisfied. Unfortunately, the beer was not good due to either dirty glasses or insufficient cleaning of the tube from the keg, as it had a fishy smell and I had to stop after one sip. If you want to drink, it's better to go for sake or wine.
