A creative sushi restaurant in Ebisu. I have been to several high-end sushi restaurants before, but this place was the most enjoyable. It's in its 4th year since opening, and the chefs are young and full of energy. Their specialty is the "Dragon Ball Roll," a roll with 7 egg yolks inside, which is quite impressive. Other highlights include the "Otoro with Shallots," "Herring Nigiri," and "Sea Bream Chazuke Marriage," all offering unique and delicious flavors not typically found in traditional Edomae sushi. The order in which the dishes are served, starting with Otoro sashimi and chazuke, is different from the norm and adds to the enjoyment. The best part is that despite the creativity, the sushi is still meticulously crafted in the Edomae style. It's not just about making unusual sushi, but about building on a solid foundation and then offering something new through creativity. This commitment to tradition and innovation is evident in the food. And the most surprising part is the price. Even with plenty of beer or sake, the bill comes out to around 13,000 yen per person. This is surely the result of their dedication to creativity. "Respecting tradition while embracing innovation. I feel inspired." 🍣🍶

Visited the restaurant on recommendation of a friend. Despite starting late at 8:30 pm for the second part, it was impressive to see the place fully packed! The dishes from sashimi to nigiri sushi were just the right amount in terms of both volume and taste, creating a cozy atmosphere. I was planning to restrain myself from drinking today, but ended up enjoying some drinks after all.

The sushi restaurant I frequent the most is "Sushi Yoshikawa". Although prices have increased slightly compared to before, I truly believe that this course menu for 13,200 yen (tax included) is the best value for money, and above all, it is incredibly delicious! The menu slightly changes depending on the season, so you can enjoy it whenever you visit. This time, the chilled sea urchin pasta was new and delicious. "Sushi Yoshikawa" is famous for its Dragon Ball roll, but personally, I think the combination of fatty tuna and shallots is divine. It's not the traditional Edo-style sushi, but more of a revolutionary style that says, "How's that! Isn't it delicious?!" This bold style may be considered unconventional, but it's the most delicious! I admire and am excited by this strong style. It's a wonderful restaurant that always leaves me completely satisfied every time I go. It's definitely one of my personal top 100 restaurants.

I made a reservation over the phone about a week ago for 6:00 pm at the counter for 2 people. The restaurant is a bit hard to find on the 1.5th floor, so be careful! I finally went to this place that I often see on Instagram with their Dragon Ball sushi rolls that I've been curious about. I saw on Tabelog that the omakase course is 11,000 yen! I was a bit skeptical, but it was true (lol). The cost performance was so good, I was surprised (lol). The course had a summer vibe and was really good! The famous Dragon Ball sushi roll had a creamy egg yolk that tasted like happiness (´>ω<`). The homemade almond tofu was also creamy, smooth, and delicious! The atmosphere was very cozy and I want to go back again.

I had visited the Azabu-Juban branch of this restaurant several times, but this was my first time at the Ebisu branch. The food was delicious and filled my mouth with flavor. It was amazing! I opted for the all-you-can-drink option and enjoyed plenty of delicious drinks. I felt so happy! If you make a reservation through Tabelog, there is no option for the all-you-can-drink course, so I recommend booking through the restaurant's website for that.

Looking for a sushi place that's Instagram-worthy, I was excited but ended up passing by the restaurant. I made a reservation for the 6 pm session. We toasted with Masters Dream! Started with fresh tuna sashimi from Shiogama, Miyagi Prefecture, followed by Hirame from Nagasaki, and Ishigarei from Miyagi with green onions and plum. We had a drink-all-you-can option with sparkling wine. Then we had Fugu Shirako and soup, Shimaji Tataki from Oita with green onions and myoga, seared Tachiuo from Chiba, scallops from Aomori with sudachi soy sauce, flounder from Aomori marinated in kombu, Uni and sweet shrimp hand-rolled, and sand lance and corn tempura with curry salt. We enjoyed "Roku" with soda and sansho pepper. Then came Otoro with shallots, Dragon Roll, Hiroshima after the rain, Kuranoshoujin Thegreen from Komazawa Jozo, Unagi Dog from Aichi, sweet Aosa omelet, and delicious almond tofu for dessert. The sushi had unique combinations that might divide opinions, but I personally loved it. The Shirako, large scallops, Dragon Roll, and Unagi were memorable! It was a sushi experience that made me appreciate the beauty of delicious pairings. The rich almond tofu dessert was also incredibly tasty. The selection of drinks was top-notch. The chef's stories added a nice touch. I would love to come back for more! The total bill for two was ¥33,000. We were able to opt for the drink-all-you-can option on the day, which allowed us to try a variety of drinks. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The scallops and seared octopus were delicious, and they served the rice with less vinegar which was perfect because I was already full! Every piece of sushi was tasty and I was very satisfied. Ebisu offers great value sushi with only the chef's recommendations on the menu. The atmosphere is casual, but the taste is quite authentic and delicious. The balance between the fish and rice is good, allowing you to enjoy the sushi at a good pace. However, the eel roll towards the end was disappointing. The sauce was too sweet and thick, making it a bit heavy to eat towards the end, and the bones left a strong aftertaste. Other than that, everything else was delicious.

I had the omakase course in a private room. It seems there is only one private room available. I only took this one photo, but the alcohol and sushi were delicious. I would love to go back again! The course was very filling!

Reasonably priced and delicious! My friend knows the owner, so we were taken there and enjoyed plenty of sake without any worries. The appetizers were incredibly tasty and paired perfectly with the sake. We couldn't resist ordering more Uni Don because it was so good!

I enjoyed the different textures and savored the flavors of the broth and sauces. It was a blissful time enjoying the harmony of flavors. I made a reservation for my friend's birthday, but I completely forgot to ask about a dessert plate. A few hours before our visit, I hurriedly called and they graciously responded, saying, "It's nothing special, but..." I am grateful for their kindness! I would love to visit again when the season changes.

It looked so delicious! I decided to visit the restaurant in Tokyo and made a reservation for a table seating. On the day of my visit, the course started with sashimi, crab, spring rolls, and a sushi platter. However, the crab tasted okay but lacked freshness, and the sushi was small and lacked impact. The Dragon Ball roll was presented before being cut, which was a great photo opportunity. But when served, the portion was surprisingly small. The ingredients were delicious, but I left feeling unsatisfied both in terms of fullness and satisfaction. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations in terms of value for money. I wish I could have enjoyed more drinks. Overall, I was not able to summon Shenron this time.

It is easy to use with friends of the same generation because you can eat delicious sushi with good cost performance. I especially like the eel dog. I went to a traditional sushi restaurant for a meal. The interior had an old-fashioned feel, and the head chef was a friendly elderly man, giving the place a longstanding reputation. Following these instructions led to a rich yolk flavor spreading in the mouth, followed by a soothing taste from the soup. The tuna was also delicious, and this roll became unforgettable. The sushi was tasty, and I left the restaurant feeling very satisfied!

My sister invited me to this restaurant for my birthday ☺️ At first, I couldn't find the entrance because it didn't have a sign, making me wonder if it was a hidden gem. However, it turned out to be a lively and bright place with a great performance. The menu only offers courses, and for a sushi counter in Ebisu, the price is very reasonable. Everyone starts at the same time and the dishes keep coming one after another! Today, a young chef from Okinawa took care of us.
