I ordered the Banana Whip Pancake with Chocolate Sauce for 1,420 yen plus an Iced Tea for 300 yen. The seasonal menu was White Peach Rose Hip, but since I love white peach and dislike rose hip, I opted for the safe choice of chocolate banana. They offer cold water and you can freely refill it yourself, but I decided to order an Iced Tea. I tried the pancake without any toppings first. It had a fluffy and bouncy texture and was delicious even plain. The taste was not like typical pancake mix, more like a Japanese-style egg dish. The chocolate sauce came in a generous amount in a separate container, allowing you to adjust the amount. It was very rich and as a chocolate lover, I was happy, but when I poured all the chocolate sauce over the pancake, it became overwhelmingly chocolatey...! It might have been better if there were more parts without any toppings since the plain pancake was tasty too...? The amount of chocolate sauce and whipped cream was generous, and a whole banana was used, so it was quite filling. The prices overall were a bit on the higher side...? I wish the set drinks were a bit cheaper.

I had made a reservation online in advance through Tabelog as it was a popular shop, but surprisingly it was quite empty when I arrived on a weekday evening. I ordered the rich cheese mousse pancake with berry sauce and an iced coffee, and waited for about 20 minutes. The water is self-service. The pancakes that were brought were sufficiently thick and very fluffy. I enjoyed them well mixed with the cheese mousse and blueberry sauce on top. The slight sourness, moderate sweetness, and fluffy pancakes were a perfect match! This is delicious. I have also been to a pancake shop in Osaka called "Happiness Pancakes" before, and the delicious memories from that time came back to me. Thank you for the meal.

This time, I had 2 servings of "Pancakes of Happiness" (1100 yen each), whipped cream (110 yen), organic Earl Grey tea (550 yen), and a hot brand coffee (460 yen). The pancakes had a fluffy and melty texture. I was in bliss the moment I took a bite. The pancake itself was delicious, so I only added a small amount of caramel sauce. It's usually very popular, so I couldn't visit on weekends, but today is a Wednesday, a weekday. I thought it might be a good time to go. Fortunately, when I arrived, there were only half or fewer customers inside, so I was able to enter the restaurant quickly. Lucky! Is it common to have restaurants right in front as soon as you get off the elevator in the city? I'm not sure, but this was a new experience for me. I was a bit indecisive about what to order, but since it was my first time here, I decided to go for a sweet pancake. I chose the "Tiramisu Pancake (¥1390)" and "Orange Juice (¥200)." The pancake arrived in about 15 minutes, and it was served with three pancakes, topped with a generous amount of chocolate sauce and whipped cream. It was softer and fluffier than I expected, and it brought a sense of happiness just like the restaurant's name. The combination of bitter tiramisu and sweet orange juice worked well together. Overall, it was a delightful experience, although the whipped cream was a bit too much for my taste. I managed to finish it by adding a little espresso. This kind of soft pancake is hard to replicate at home. This store is part of a chain with around 30 locations outside Hokkaido, but this is the only one in Hokkaido, which might explain its popularity. The background music was calm Western music, and the lively atmosphere of the staff from the kitchen added to the ambiance. I decided to try the "Seasonal Fresh Fruit Pancake (1300 yen tax included)" which looked colorful and vibrant on the menu. When asked by the waitress about toppings, I couldn't resist and added "Extra Whipped Cream (+100 yen tax included)". The menu mentioned that it would take 20 minutes to prepare as they make the meringue from scratch, and during busy times it could take up to 40 minutes. After a while, it was ready. The whipped cream was amazing! I took a bite and realized that this pancake had a slightly stronger yellow color compared to others I've had before. It was fluffy yet had a firm texture, with a hint of sweetness and a distinct egg flavor, which I really liked. The whipped cream was not overly sweet, allowing me to enjoy it generously without overpowering the pancake. The fruits on the side - apple, strawberry, kiwi, pink grapefruit, pineapple, banana - were all fresh and delicious. Overall, there was not a single disappointment. The staff were efficient and there were many of them, making the experience pleasant. The thick pancakes, three in total, were beautifully decorated and the volume was overwhelming! Cheers of "cute" and "amazing" could be heard from various tables. The pancakes themselves were rich and delicious, so no matter how they were decorated, they were bound to be delicious. The pancakes were a deep yellow color, perhaps from the egg yolks used. I thought about the rich flavor and the yellow color of the pancakes, realizing they must be using good eggs. I managed to finish two pancakes, feeling very full but satisfied as they were incredibly delicious.
