When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, it is a designated rare disease by the government. Unfortunately, there is no medication that suits my rare disease. I was hospitalized for rare disease treatment again in April-May, following last September and January this year. Your supportive comments were a source of energy for me during my hospitalization. I am deeply grateful. I was discharged in early May, but during the tests and consultations at the end of May, the doctor mentioned the possibility of another hospitalization. If I have not recovered by the June tests, I may be hospitalized again in July. It seems that if the condition worsens in July, I will be admitted immediately, but it will likely be after 2 weeks of the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The doctor instructed me to confirm the vaccination schedule with Sapporo City, but it seems that Hokkaido has the lowest vaccination rates in the country. The impact of this is reflected in the high number of deaths in Hokkaido compared to other regions. In such an environment, events like the Olympic marathon will take place. Tokyo has made progress in vaccinating younger individuals. Hokkaido feels abandoned by the government. Please continue to support me in the future. [July 2021] Due to the state of emergency declarations, izakayas were unable to serve alcohol, so they have been coming up with new ideas for business. More restaurants are offering lunch menus with cheap ramen and seafood bowls. "Kushikatsu and Sushi Sakaba Tecchan, in front of Tokeidai" opened a new restaurant called "Fried Tonkatsu Tecchan Dining." It operates for a limited time during lunch hours from 11:30 am to 2 pm as a tonkatsu specialty restaurant. It had been temporarily closed for a while but finally reopened. During the temporary closure, staff who had been supporting the Yurimachi store told us to visit here as well. I went for lunch with my usual companion directly from the hospital. This restaurant is located in the Odori area of Sapporo Chuo-ku, near the Sapporo Clock Tower. For more details on the location of the restaurant, please check on Tabelog. I visited around 1 pm on a weekday. It was warm, so there were tables set up on the sidewalk. The lunch menu offers 8 set meals ranging from 800 yen to 1600 yen. Both my companion and I ordered the "Upper Loin Tonkatsu Set for 1300 yen." We both opted for the "large serving" of rice. After ordering, the pork was coated with batter in a style. After a 12-minute wait, the two "Upper Loin Tonkatsu Sets" were served. Upper Loin Tonkatsu: The Loin Katsu is a large, thick tonkatsu. It uses pork from the famous sunflower field in Nayoro, Hokkaido. The pork, which was raised by eating sunflower seeds, has a sweet and tender meat texture with a beautiful taste. The batter on the cutlet is thin. Cabbage shredded separately Pickled radish Miso soup with wakame and green onions Warm rice Rice can be served in a large portion. Free rice refill Grated ponzu sauce free service Price: 1300 yen (tax included) The "Upper Loin Tonkatsu" made from "Nayoro Hokkaido Sunflower Field Pork" is indeed quite delicious. The quality of the loin meat is very good. Additionally, it is thick and satisfying to eat. The thin batter means it doesn't feel too oily. Naturally, freshly fried tonkatsu tastes delicious. I did not ask for a rice refill, but it was a filling lunch set. The only disappointing point was that the miso soup was lukewarm. The tonkatsu from the famous tonkatsu restaurant "Tonkatsu Aoi" is of course several levels above in terms of frying skills. However, the meat quality here is superior, making it a satisfying lunch set.
