"Nasubi" 3-Matsubiru
I often hear the name of this building, but I don't think I've ever been here. In Sapporo, it became just the two of us. From two solo drinks at two places, the third place onwards we were just two of us. We quickly had Italian at the fourth place, similar to the third place. It was all up to Yomesan's choice of restaurant. I didn't ask why we were here. The elevator is broken, so it's on the 4th floor. We'll take the stairs. We arrived on a Saturday without a reservation and there were seats available. They said, "There are seats available." When we sat at the counter and ordered a "beer," they said, "We only have bottled beer." Well, bottled is fine, but it's rare to not have draft beer. I went with "Kirin Lager." They also had Dry and Classic, but surprisingly, locals in Hokkaido seem to prefer Lager. People from outside Hokkaido tend to go for Classic. The gentleman and the lady are nice. We sat at an L-shaped counter. The chairs are spacious. If the grandson from Teine sat on this, he might fall asleep, wouldn't he? No worries, it's fine. I won't fall asleep unless it's a toilet seat. If they put a toilet seat at the counter in an izakaya, I might fall asleep. You can see the raised seating area. There's a moat. The previous customers were two groups of three at the counter. The other customers were two groups of four at the counter and the raised seating area. The menu only had vinegar octopus, simmered Kasube, and sasami octopus. The octopus was okay. The sashimi platter was ¥1,200, and for the price, the content was good. Nothing was particularly outstanding, though. We had "Bakuren" sake. It was slightly sweet but heavy and delicious. It had a bit of acidity, which was nice. It's pleasantly acidic. It says super dry but don't count on it. Yomesan had "Tateyama" sake. The label has changed. It's become quite flashy. When compared, it was weaker than Bakuren. We had wine at the third place and sake at the fourth place because Yomesan said it would be until 10 pm. Even so, we went to six places with Yomesan and one more with the old man, so that's seven places, right? We held up well. We had beef tataki. Each piece was small but the presentation was nice. It was decent. The owner didn't interact much, which was good. Later, when I mentioned to the old man that we were at "Nasubi," he replied with a laugh. When he went, he thought the cigarette smoke was too much and he thought he wouldn't come back. We were not affected by it.
