Tsukiji Aozora Sandaime Honten: The improved version of the rice is delicious, with a good variety of tuna and white fish, which increases satisfaction. The popular restaurant in Tsukiji has evolved beautifully. The Edo-style sushi is served at a reasonable price with a good tempo. I ordered the most popular "18-item" omakase for 8,800 yen. The exterior and interior have a cool and calm atmosphere after the renovation! The content is rich with plenty of tuna and white fish. The flounder has a nice crispy texture, the moist tuna akami has a delightful aroma. The otoro melts in your mouth. The mackerel and salmon skin are perfect. The sparkling ikura, clear uni, and seared golden eye snapper are delicious. The thick throat of the nodoguro is mouth-watering. I also enjoyed the red clam, shrimp, sea bream, squid, small fish, and horse mackerel. It was one of my favorite rice flavors I've had recently. I faced the sushi with a gradually increasing deliciousness. The satisfying finish with the all-tuna roll was also great. I would like to revisit at the right timing.

I was invited by a friend and visited this place. The Tsukiji area offers delicious and affordable sushi. There are many reliable sushi restaurants crowded together. Tsukiji Aozora Sandaime has multiple locations and is a popular sushi restaurant. Some locations offer the rare "Fujita's tuna." Although this location doesn't have Fujita's tuna, the sushi is still delicious. Every type of sushi here is top-notch. Each location has its own unique charm, and you can enjoy them in different ways. When you enter the restaurant, you can feel the lively atmosphere, which lifts your mood. We were seated at the counter, which was full! The chef greeted us and the meal began. The course included: - Sea cucumber - Komochikobu and soramame - Raw shrimp - Tuna - Firefly squid - Monkfish liver - Kinmedai steamed in sake - Shirako - Abalone liver - Bamboo shoots - Ark shell - Horse mackerel - Medium fatty tuna - Clam - Kawahagi - Shrimp - Blackthroat seaperch - Seared fatty tuna - Negitoro roll - Soup with clam - Dessert, ice cream, plenty of setoka The price range is very budget-friendly. The portions are generous, and you even get dessert at the end, so the satisfaction level is high. It's easy to make a reservation, and the sushi is delicious. Such sushi restaurants are a delight. We made a reservation for 2 people at 8:00 on a holiday and visited the restaurant. It was difficult to find a sushi restaurant open on holidays in the Ginza area, but we found this place. We ordered the omakase course for ¥8,800 with the expectation of additional dishes. Starting with simmered whelk as the appetizer, we were served 14 dishes including soup. Everything was delicious, and we had seconds of ark shell and added kohada and horse mackerel. We also enjoyed beer, Hakushu whiskey, and various types of sake, resulting in a total bill of ¥27,000. We will definitely visit again when we want to eat delicious sushi at a good cost performance. ☺️

First visit. I walked from Tsukiji Market Station to the shop, but the surrounding area was closed and the road was dark and a little scary... I arrived around 6:30 pm on a weekday, and the inside of the shop was already full of customers. It was a good decision to make a reservation!! We were guided to the counter seats. The shop has a clean and not too formal atmosphere, which is nice. You can order an omakase course, nigiri course, or individual items, which is great because you can choose. This time, I ordered my favorite items and also received recommendations from the chef. The chef in charge made the sushi while watching our eating pace, and all the staff were very polite and pleasant. I want to repeat this delicious sushi at this price and would like to recommend it to people around me. I hope to visit again soon. Thank you for the meal!

"I visited 'Tsukiji Aozora Sandaime' in Shinjuku because I heard that the branch there was delicious. Today, I had the Nigiri main course for 8800 yen. This time, I chose the 13800 yen course! The entrance had a wonderful Japanese atmosphere, and the inside was clean with polite staff, making it a comfortable place to be. The sushi was so luxurious for this price! The oysters were surprisingly large and I was delighted to see both uni and sushi on the menu. Everything was delicious and I was very satisfied. However, there were a lot of dishes, so women may want to ask for smaller portions of rice. I will definitely visit again!

Choose the strongest course. Each piece of sushi is carefully prepared by the head chef right in front of you, allowing you to feel the love put into each one. The selection of Japanese sake is also very extensive, so you can choose the perfect sake to pair with your sushi. The atmosphere in the restaurant is not too formal, so you can relax and enjoy your meal.

I ordered the 8000 yen course where each dish was prepared or served as nigiri. Everything was delicious, but the seared nodoguro nigiri and the conger eel nigiri were exceptional. They were unforgettable and the most delicious sushi I have ever had. I definitely want to go back soon. (Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the medium fatty tuna!)

It was delicious! I was satisfied with being able to enjoy both appetizers and sushi at a relatively casual price. Sometimes I hesitate to choose a restaurant that costs 20,000 or 30,000 yen, but if I had to choose, I would definitely choose this place. I visited the Marunouchi branch before the pandemic, and the taste and service were good, so it's a reliable chain. The atmosphere is not formal like a high-end sushi restaurant, but it's a casual and enjoyable place to eat.

I tried birthday sushi and it was truly delicious! The most impressive was the seared fatty tuna! It was seared on the back and topped with garlic leaves. It wasn't too oily, and had a perfect balance of lean meat and fat, like grilled meat!! I want to eat it again...!!! Another memorable dish was the shrimp! It was chopped and topped with miso, the shrimp was full of sweetness and the miso added a great accent, it was amazing!

On the final day of the three-day weekend, we were able to walk in without a reservation and got a table for three at 11 AM! I wish we had gone for sushi instead - the seared swordfish was amazing, with a taste similar to grilled meat and a melt-in-your-mouth texture. Every piece of sushi was truly delicious. I usually don't prefer vinegared rice, but I liked the red vinegar used here.

It's been a while since my last visit. I have been coming here for about 15 years, visiting a few times a year, and once again, I had a very pleasant time thanks to the consistent high level of hospitality. This time, I opted for the omakase strongest course, and I must say that in terms of cost-performance, this place is truly top-notch among sushi restaurants in Tokyo. From the appetizers to the side dishes, and then the sushi with its generous portions, I was impressed. The sushi itself is seasoned perfectly to bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients. I highly recommend the flounder, gizzard shad, and cockle during this season. Once again, I thoroughly enjoyed the quality of Aozora. Thank you very much.

I visited this sushi restaurant, which is ranked number one in the Tabelog ranking for Tsukiji, for the first time. It's not a super high-end place like those in Ginza or Yotsuya, but rather a lively sushi restaurant with many skilled chefs. Perhaps because the situation with COVID has improved, there were quite a few Western customers as well. I decided to go with the omakase course focused on appetizers. After a serving of mountain kelp and rock oysters, sliced sashimi and a rock salt plate were served. The chef explained that the rock salt would gradually dissolve, so we should squeeze some sudachi citrus on it, dip the fish, and enjoy. I had never experienced this before! Next came ankimo topped with chopped Nara pickles. I personally prefer it with ponzu sauce and grated radish. The abalone liver sauce was a classic dish. A few more appetizers followed before the sushi. The medium fatty tuna was quite large, prompting me to comment that the rice could be a bit smaller. The sardine was delicious, with meticulous care taken to remove the small bones. The uni was generously piled on a purple shiso leaf. I couldn't even see the rice underneath! I also enjoyed the gizzard shad, turban shell, and more. I look forward to visiting the separate branch where the head chef himself prepares the sushi next time.

I was moved for the second time, so this time I ordered the recommended "Sandai" set. Once again, I was impressed. Personally, the conger eel was amazing, and the lean tuna, sea urchin, and other items were also fantastic. I also ordered some additional items, including the amazing conger eel. I also ordered some salmon roe because it was so delicious (see photo). I will definitely come back for a third time! By the way, I also love the pickled ginger here.

I visited this restaurant with a reservation. Many shops around Tsukiji were closed at night, giving a slightly lonely feeling, but this place was lively with customers lining up even before opening. I sat at the counter and the sushi chef was kind and easy to talk to, making it a fun time. I would like to visit again.

Two of us used a private room. Even though it's called a private room, you can still hear voices, so be careful. We had a few drinks and thought the cost performance was good at 20,000 yen for two people. The tuna in particular was exquisite. In this day and age, this price is quite reasonable, considering the effort put into sourcing ingredients. There seems to be a sister store in Tokyo, so I plan to visit there as well.

The restaurant was located on a street with many tourists outside of Tsukiji Market. Upon entering, there was a bridge which added an exciting atmosphere, especially for visitors from overseas. The shop was cozy, with a counter and about three semi-private rooms. I had the chef's choice for lunch. Both the chef and the staff were very friendly and provided excellent service.

I ordered the Chef's Choice course for 3,850 yen during lunch. The variety of dishes included pickles, hiramasu, scallop, horse mackerel, simmered octopus, tamago, mackerel, medium fatty tuna, sea urchin with salmon roe, eel, and a bowl of hotaruika and sumidako. Additionally, they served a delicious dish of ainame, kobujime, and kawahagi. Overall, the meal was very enjoyable and worth the price.

I have visited this place several times and I am always satisfied with the delicious food and great service, whether sitting at the counter or in a private room. Personally, I enjoy sitting at the counter and interacting with the chef while enjoying 1-2 pieces at a time. It's very satisfying. (In a private room, the dishes are usually brought all at once by the staff). I highly recommend the chef's choice series, especially the simmered anago, seared fatty tuna, and squid. The quality of the fish and rice is consistently high, and the cost performance is excellent. *Make sure to make a reservation to avoid waiting in line!!

Great atmosphere! Delicious sushi! The service was also excellent! I would love to go back again. This time we had the chef's choice course. We were able to watch the sushi being made right in front of us. The rice was different from other sushi places, it felt special. It gets quite busy so it's better to make a reservation.

Tsukiji is currently crowded with inbound tourists. It's really difficult to walk anywhere. All the famous restaurants around are packed with long lines, but after mustering up some courage, I opened the door here. Surprisingly, as a solo diner, I was seated at the counter right away without a reservation. The counter was impressive. I debated between sushi and a rice bowl, but ultimately decided on the bowl. It arrived in about 7 minutes. At first glance, the freshness looked good. The toppings were large!! And there were white shrimp in it which got me excited!! It's Edomae style, so it had red vinegar which was a bit strong, but overall, it was much tastier than the sushi at Kaikoen. I think the cost performance is good. Next time, I might try the sushi. If you're dining alone, you might not need a reservation, but if you're going with two or more people, a reservation is a must. It still seems like a hidden gem to me. The staff's service was also polite, and I left feeling very satisfied. Thank you for the meal.
