Located in the middle of Susukino, this Japanese izakaya in a building seems to offer Kushiro fish and sake. The interior of the restaurant is quite impressive, making it suitable for business entertainment. They have private rooms and a counter, both of which are nice. The menu mainly focuses on fish, but they also offer chicken and beef, so you don't have to worry. The recommended dishes were crab, but since I don't eat much crab, I opted for black sea bream sashimi, soy sauce-marinated salmon roe, garlic sprouts, and more. The sake I enjoyed was from Kushiro, called Sakafukuji. I had it served warm and it paired well with the rich-flavored fish. The young staff members made a few mistakes with the names of the sake, but it added a bit of charm. It might be a good place to take out-of-town guests.

For lunch and dinner on this day, around 3:30 pm, I had a sukiyaki set at "Kushi-ro" on the 3rd floor of a building with a sign for "Nikka Ojisan" at the Susukino intersection. I had always wanted to try the hot pot light drinking set, but I was hesitant because I wasn't confident I could finish it compared to the other sets that were mostly appetizers (even though there was rice, it was bite-sized). However, this time, since it was a bit late for lunch and I hadn't eaten lunch yet, I was quite hungry and thought I might be able to finish it, so I ordered it. The sukiyaki pot set comes with 3 appetizers, grilled fish, and octopus rice ball. It is available for orders between 3 pm and 5 pm, with 2 alcoholic drinks included for 2000 yen including tax. This time, I had cassis orange and grapefruit sour. It's really cheap, right? The menu changes monthly, so I have been going almost every month recently. Please check the image list for detailed menu. I was really full, but I managed to finish it. It was delicious♪o(^▽^)o It was too early for dinner, so if I got hungry at night, I thought I would have a light snack, but in the end, I only had one orange for dinner. ☆Since it was 3:30 pm, I was the only customer. At this time, there is no need to worry about crowding. I always dine alone, so I use the counter, but at this time, there was only one other group besides me. So, I didn't have to worry about social distancing, but this time, there were dividers for two people at the counter. ☆The light drinking set will continue in February, so I definitely want to go back. On this day, I came to "Kushiro" on the 3rd floor of a building with a sign of Nikka's uncle at the Susukino intersection around 4:30 pm for dinner. This is my fourth visit. The "Asazake Set" is available almost monthly with three different sets. This time, I chose the "Wan Plate Dinner" set. It comes with a plate (9 small dishes), salad, and grilled dish (salted mackerel) along with two alcoholic drinks, all for 2000 yen including tax, which is really cheap. The tree in the middle of the salad is mashed potatoes. The sashimi of the day was octopus. Among the dishes I had this time, the cream gratin and octopus tempura were particularly delicious. Please see the image list for details of the set menu I had this time. The drinks I had were Haskap Sour and Cassis Orange. The set is available for order from 3 pm to 5 pm, and seating is until 6 pm. It may be limited on weekdays, but they are open on weekends and holidays too, so be sure to visit! I have to promote it because if there are too few customers, this set may be discontinued and I would be in trouble. They are planning to continue this set with new menus in 2021, so I will visit again! Thank you for the meal! ☆

It's been a while since I visited. This time, we used a private room for three people, a room for six people. We started at 3 pm on Saturday! We enjoyed six plates, grilled scallops with cheese, grilled pork, and finished with hojicha ice cream. We leisurely enjoyed the delicious meal. I was very satisfied, so I want to leave a supportive review♡ Kushiro is a high-class restaurant with a luxurious atmosphere, often used for entertaining guests. Their popular "Asazake Set" will be available from December starting at 3 PM! You can choose from three different sets of dishes, each coming with two drinks of your choice. The dishes are luxurious and generous in portion size! You can even order something different from your friends! As shown in the photo, the contents are fantastic. What's more, they are generous enough to allow you to do a drink comparison set! Can you believe it...it's amazing. And it's all inclusive until 6 PM! The rooms are private and the staff's service is outstanding. Even when I called, they were polite and attentive, leaving a great impression. In the past, I had to cancel on the day of my reservation, but they kindly accepted it and I always wanted to visit again. The satisfaction I felt from using their service and enjoying their dishes is beyond compare. This level of food and service is truly a pride of Susukino. Keep up the great work! Thank you so much♡♡♡

On this day, I had dinner at "Kushiro" on the 3rd floor of a building with a sign of a Nikka uncle in Susukino, and I had the "Evening Meal and Drink Set". It was my third visit. The set includes a variety of snacks and 2 drinks for only 2000 yen including tax, which is incredibly cheap. The reception is until 3-5 pm and the seating is until 6 pm, so it might be difficult for regular office workers on weekdays, but they are also open on weekends and holidays, so please give it a try. The menu for the "Evening Meal and Drink Set" changes regularly, and the one I had was until the end of November, so it's different now. The drinks I had were a grapefruit sour and I think a Fuzzy Navel. For details on the dishes, please refer to the menu list in the image. I'm not a fan of shirako, but since it was small in size and grilled, it had a crispy surface and a pleasant aroma, so I managed to eat it. It was delicious. The sweet potato dessert at the end had a caramelized surface, crispy and balanced with the sweetness and softness inside, leaving a satisfying finish. This place is an izakaya with affordable prices, so it makes sense to have a set like this for 2000 yen, but it's not a cheap restaurant in general, so I'm grateful for such a cheap set. And it's located in a building at the Susukino intersection! Right above Susukino Station, it's too convenient. Considering the level of the restaurant, I think this set could easily be priced at 3000 yen or even higher. Oh! But please don't raise the prices. Light drinking set, once again~(^O^). I visited today at around 5:00, and sat at the far right end of the counter. I would like the "relaxing plate" today. For my drink, I'll have a beer, please serve it with the first salad. The salad includes cucumber, cherry tomatoes, broccoli, sliced onions, lettuce, and croutons. The croutons add a nice touch. The assortment includes black sesame tofu, (the dashi was delicious) eggplant with spicy miso (the spicy miso is delicious), crab rice, crab shumai, pumpkin dumplings (the miso in the pumpkin dumplings is adult-like), unusual chawanmushi (it has cheese!), salt-grilled lamb, orange-flavored gizzard (this is incredibly tasty! My No.1 today), and the center sashimi is salmon. For my second drink, I'll have sake, please give me Hokkaido's Katsu (^-^)/. Alright, the grilled dish has arrived, salt-grilled mackerel and grilled shiitake mushrooms. Aren't shiitake mushrooms difficult to grill? It's cooked just right~. I enjoyed it for about an hour. This time, I received a stamp card specifically for the light drinking set! You can get a free light drinking set with 9 stamps. They're working hard, aren't they? I went to "Kushi Michi" on the 3rd floor of the "Susukino Building" with a Nikka sign at the Susukino intersection for dinner, choosing the "Wan Plate Dinner". The food details can be seen in the image list. It was very delicious. It's a great deal, as from 4 to 6 pm, you get two drinks with the meal for only 2000 yen. I had orange juice mixed with Mikan sake for the first drink, and soda mixed with rough plum sake for the second. They didn't have the Mikan sake option on the menu, but they accommodated my request, which was nice. After the meal, I went on the Norbesa Ferris wheel nearby. I had received free ride tickets from a Twitter contest a while back. I had been on the Ferris wheel with a friend shortly after Norbesa was built, but it was during the day and the weather was cloudy, so I wanted to see the night view this time. The sun had just set, but it was still a nice experience. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.【Note】The menu for the "Wan Plate" is only available in December now. I've always wanted to try this place based on everyone's reviews, so I finally went! I arrived at 5:00 pm on a weekday and there were no other customers. I got to sit at the counter, my favorite spot. I decided to sit in front of the cool chef. I couldn't decide, so I went for the dinner set without rice, perfect for drinking in the evening, and chose draft beer. They brought me beer and snacks together, which was nice. The set included 6 dishes: crab miso tofu, flounder and taro stew, unique spring rolls, salmon roe and sake lees cheese, grated mountain yam with wasabi, and marinated mackerel with spicy vinegar miso. The cheese was delicious, the mackerel with spicy vinegar miso was amazing, and the crab miso tofu was even better. I'll have sake next! Oh, the unique spring rolls had a different texture because they used dumpling skin. Next was pork shabu salad, followed by grilled skewers and egg omelette with pickled radish in grated daikon. It was all delicious and eye-opening. For my second drink, I chose Hokkaido sake. The female staff provided attentive service, and the chef was quick and answered questions. Overall, I enjoyed the meal slowly and had a great time. An elderly gentleman who sat on the other side of the counter also commented on how delicious the food was. I am very satisfied. I look forward to the autumn-themed menu starting in October. They also have a shabu-shabu buffet, so be sure to check it out! Today's meal was delicious. Thank you.

I also wanted to try the dessert. The beer arrived first, and surprisingly, it was served in a mug rather than a glass. Classic. I'm glad I'm from Hokkaido... The set arrived with crab on tofu, simmered taro, spring rolls, cream cheese with fish roe, pickled mackerel, and another dish with herring. I couldn't catch all the names. I'm sorry... But everything was delicious. Even though I couldn't hear the names, everything was just great. I enjoyed the beer while savoring each dish. Next was the pork shabu salad. I could enjoy the vegetables. This was also something I could savor slowly. It's a good time. I enjoyed the grilled surf clam and other dishes, and had a second beer. I wanted to drink a bit more, but then it was the perfect timing for dessert. Delicious melon and tasty coffee. I ended up not being able to order more... I revisited the place after enjoying the "Wan Plate 2000 yen" last time. It was a Wednesday around 6 pm. There was one customer already seated, and more small groups were coming in for their 7 pm reservations. Just like last time, I sat at the end of the counter. This time, I opted for the Mini Course Set for 2000 yen, which included 2 drinks and a coffee. The first drink was beer. Since it was a mini course, the next dish arrived just as I finished the previous one. The appetizer was seared salmon salad, followed by baked ratatouille with cheese, and charcoal-grilled pork belly. The pork belly was large and had a crispy exterior with tender and juicy meat inside. I enjoyed it with various condiments like wasabi, ginger, mustard, and yuzu pepper. For my second drink, I chose white wine. The small dish was marinated white fish, which was a refreshing palate cleanser after the rich pork belly. The main dish was a mini chirashi sushi with tuna, scallop, and ikura on top of vinegared rice. It was a satisfying meal with a variety of flavors. To finish, I had a fragrant iced coffee. The total cost was 2000 yen for a one-hour dining experience. The menu was different from the one mentioned in a review from July, as mine was valid until September. I look forward to trying the "Banquet Dinner and Drinks" set next time.

After watching "Confidence Man JP Princess Edition" with my friend, we decided to visit the recommended restaurant "Sumibi Robata Kushiro Susukino Building" by the famous "Tanuki no Noguri". If you enter between 4 pm and 6 pm, you can enjoy a light drinking set for 2,000 yen, which includes 2 drinks and a variety of side dishes. When we arrived a few minutes past 4 pm, the restaurant was not yet open, so we had to wait in chairs. Eventually, we were seated at the counter, despite the spaciousness of the restaurant, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable as customers spending 4,000 yen together. We ordered the Wann Plate Dinner with beer, which included fresh spring rolls and other dishes. The service was a bit slow, but the food was delicious, especially the eggplant dish. The main plate was impressive, with a variety of dishes including grilled mackerel and fresh squid sashimi. Overall, the quality and quantity of the food exceeded our expectations, considering the reasonable price. I highly recommend trying their limited-time sets before September 30th.

When you get off the elevator on the 3rd floor of the Susukino Building, the entrance is right in front of you. I wanted to visit this place after seeing Tom's review. I visited alone around 6 pm on Wednesday. There was one group of customers before me and about 5 groups after me. I was guided to my favorite seat at the counter and sat alone at the corner seat. I chose the "Wan Plate Dinner" set from the three "Senshaku Sets", which includes salad, a plate, and grilled fish for 2000 yen (tax included) with 2 drinks. I started with the set's beer, a cold Sapporo Classic in a pitcher. Enjoying it while playing Pokémon. The salad was presented in a glass dish and included lettuce, paprika, cheese wrapped in fresh spring rolls, and sweet chili sauce. The dish and the spring rolls were both transparent and refreshing. This alone lifted my spirits. I had a second beer (*^-^)ノ. The Wan Plate included chilled corn soup, lamb meat marinated in sake lees and koji, grilled Hokkaido red potatoes with cod roe butter, tofu with tomato granite, cucumber with plum, grilled eggplant jelly, miso pickles, summer squid sashimi, and seared sanma rice. Can anyone look at this and not feel excited?! Each dish had a generous portion, was beautifully made, and delicious. I love squid, which was served as sashimi with boiled legs and daikon shavings underneath. The tofu with tomato granite was a unique dish with frozen tomato juice. The grilled eggplant jelly captured the smoky flavor of the eggplant. The seared sanma rice had a crispy surface. The pickled plum was plentiful and delicious with anything. I was already happy with everything up to this point. The grilled fish was shishamo couple-style, with a large male and a small female fish, and a heart-shaped paprika on top of grated daikon. Coffee is included after the meal, but I was already satisfied, so I declined. Time spent: 1 hour. Amount paid: 2000 yen. This set is of very high quality! I will definitely go back to try the other two sets as well! This set is available until the end of September, so don't hesitate to GO!

I arrived around 5 pm and was seated at the counter. There were no previous customers, and there was only one couple behind me. The Asazake set has three options, and I chose the "Evening meal and drink set" as I like to try various dishes in small portions. However, rice is not included, so if you want rice as a finish, you may need to order it separately. Each set comes with two alcoholic drinks. The drink options for the set exclude bottled beer and wine from the menu. When asked if I wanted sake, I declined without further explanation. The first drink I chose was Yubari melon sour (680 yen for a single order), and the second was Fuzzy Navel (580 yen for a single order). Both had a slightly low alcohol content, which suited me well as I am not a heavy drinker. The dishes were delicious, especially the lamb salt karaage. The service was excellent, with a friendly young female server who made me feel welcome despite my casual attire. The Asazake set is available from 4 pm to 6 pm starting in August, with a new menu. Welcome.---------- July 2020 ----------Located in the middle of Susukino, right in front of the station at Nishi 4, South 3, on the 3rd floor of the Nikka-san Building, it's right in front of you when the elevator opens. Hello. It's a sophisticated izakaya with a calming atmosphere. The counter is very relaxing, and you can see the chefs in white coats preparing dishes behind the glass window. There are private rooms with glass walls that add an erotic touch. The staff is very polite. From 3:00 to 6:00, they have a "light drinking set" available. This place offers three different sets, and even with three choices, it's still hard to decide. The set costs 2000 yen including tax (very cheap). It feels like "Wakako Sake" here. Maybe it's more like "Tomoko Sake" because of Tom. After much contemplation, I ended up choosing the top set with a drink of two. You can choose any drink from the menu. Now, let's start with the appetizers: 1. Tuna with mustard miso sauce (the red meat's richness with the mild mustard miso is delicious) 2. Pickled garlic tomato (refreshing) 3. When I was thinking about my second drink, they suggested a "drink comparison" set, which included Hane-ya, Fuyu Hanabi, and Hokuto Suisho. Super cost-effective and good "light drinking set." They change the dishes slightly every month, so I will continue to visit in August.

I healed my wounds at the Sankaku Market in Otaru. I tried a set of three types of sake for 880 yen. Although the three types were supposed to be predetermined, I was able to choose freely. I ended up choosing the most expensive ones first, and ended up ordering two rounds. It was pure bliss. The Kinki simmered fish was half price, and I ended up eating a whole fish. The potato butter wasn't the usual kind I knew. It was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, so delicious that I might not be able to enjoy regular potato butter anymore. Is this the power of charcoal grilling? Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff, all kind and attentive, made the experience even better. I am very satisfied. It doesn't feel like a chain restaurant. I definitely want to go back again.

It was a Japanese izakaya restaurant filled with Hokkaido's charm. The atmosphere was great, and there were dishes with cooking methods not found in Tokyo, which were visually appealing. The food was delicious.

This time, I ordered seafood charcoal grilled without rice. The charcoal-grilled king crab was exquisite! The asparagus tempura was also delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is a mature Japanese style that makes you forget the hustle and bustle of Susukino. Next time, I want to order a meat dish.
