I felt like eating sushi and yakiniku at the same time. So, I visited the Sutamina Tarou Daihira branch for the first time. It has been three years since I visited the Ishiyama branch. I arrived around 11:30 on a weekday for lunch. I thought it would be empty, but it was surprisingly busy. I used a Hot Pepper drink all-you-can-drink coupon. Weekday lunches have unlimited time for 1,214 yen, so it's a nice service not to worry about time. I ignored the standard side dishes like takoyaki, pasta, zangi, and potatoes and focused on eating sushi and yakiniku. The sushi was small in size and all without wasabi. Salmon, mackerel, squid, boiled shrimp, bincho, egg, crab stick, tuna, inari, and others. It was a bit disappointing that there was no tuna. The squid ink or mayonnaise-flavored battleship sushi was delicious. There are about 20 types of yakiniku, including super kalbi with sesame flavor and pork marinated in grated pineapple. The sauces include table yakiniku sauce, ponzu, miso sauce, lemon sauce, and salt sauce. The quality of the meat and sushi is honestly low, but that's okay! When you're in the mood for quantity over quality, these kinds of restaurants are appreciated. In the soup corner, there was miso soup, kalbi soup, corn soup, and curry. The kalbi soup had plenty of daikon and kalbi, was slightly spicy, and delicious. After two rounds of sushi and yakiniku, I started on dessert. Pudding, almond tofu, coffee jelly, self-serve soft-serve ice cream, grape jelly, fruit punch, water manju, mont blanc, donuts, cream puffs, ice cream, and more. The cotton candy machine will definitely get the kids excited! It seems that dinner includes self-made crepes. I turned the coffee jelly in a cup upside down into a bowl, poured soft-serve ice cream on top, and topped it with corn flakes, which was incredibly delicious! I'm not sure if this is available at all Sutamina Tarou branches, but being able to use the coffee machine for Italian blend and espresso for free is a great service. Next time, I want to try the pasta and other side dishes that I didn't eat this time. Thank you for the meal.
