I was recommended by a friend and visited this restaurant for the first time. I don't like it when sushi is served right away and it's over, I prefer when a few appetizers come out before the sushi. I also don't like restaurants where only sashimi is served as an appetizer. Even if the fish is fresh, I don't like eating sliced fish with soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger continuously. I think there should be some thought put into adding salt, lemon, or other flavors. If you make a reservation for a table instead of sitting at the counter at this restaurant, a private room seems to be provided. The person in charge of the private room also provides very attentive service. The dishes and sashimi that were brought out were very good. I was satisfied with the balance of the sushi rice, the size of the toppings, and the way they were served. Instead of a continuous flow of sushi, they served appetizers, then sushi, followed by small dishes, then sushi, and more appetizers followed by sushi. This varied serving style kept it interesting without feeling too heavy with just sushi. The appetizers and small dishes were diverse and enjoyable. The prices were also very reasonable. I have decided to add this restaurant to my list of favorites.

When writing on Tabelog, I usually only review meals that I paid for myself, but once in a while, I think it's okay to post about meals that were treated to me. There is nothing particularly noteworthy, but like many high-end sushi restaurants these days, they only offer omakase courses. Of course, since it was treated to me, I won't complain about extravagance, but on the contrary, places where you can choose your own dishes like Kamata Sushi in Kamata are a fresh and valuable find. Overall, everything was delicious as you can see in the photos, so I recommend trying it out for yourself. As for bringing someone along, I may not do that. It's that kind of restaurant. Maybe I'm being a bit selfish and indulgent. It seems like the kind of place meant for entertaining clients.

Located in a quieter area near Roppongi, this sushi restaurant has a nice atmosphere both outside and inside. The chef is friendly and the delicate craftsmanship and hospitality are wonderful. Honestly, I think there's no one who dislikes this place. It's perfect for a date with its serene atmosphere. If you bring a girl here, she will probably be happy. It's a great restaurant that conveys a sense of hospitality.

The counter was full so we were seated in a private room. The waitress who brought the food seemed impatient, almost like a fast food worker. She made loud noises when setting down the dishes. The food lacked the freshly made feel and some dishes were too salty, fishy, or dry. It was disappointing. The last time I came here, the food was delicious, so maybe today was just a bad day. It's not great to have such hit or miss experiences at this price point.

The counter and private room were compact until 3 am, with a small amount of just right rice. The rice was warm and the grilled shishamo was delicious, I wish I had more. The explanation of the fluffy dishes was very detailed and each dish was explained carefully. The clam steamed dish was delicious with a large amount of clam in the broth. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I'm very happy that I can eat sushi of this level at a late hour. I called on the same day and said I would arrive in 30 minutes, so there weren't many types of sushi, but the atmosphere was great and everything was delicious. I was able to eat hairy crab, and I had seconds of sea urchin and sujiko a few times, which was worth it for this price. (^^)

It was difficult to make a reservation at the popular restaurant Roppongi Sushi Rokushiki. They serve sushi and appetizers alternately, with a budget of 20,000 yen. They also offer sake that pairs well with the sushi, such as Juyondai, which was delicious. The counter seats are fully booked until February next year. The meal included 6 appetizers, 10 pieces of sushi, a sushi roll, dessert, and fresh octopus with green yuzu. The seasonal dish of hair crab was prepared by removing the shell and stuffing it back in. The Negima sushi made with nodoguro fish was particularly tasty.

It's sea urchin season, and Rokushiki-san is focusing on sea urchin. This time, they are comparing three types from different regions: Kitamurasaki sea urchin from Iwate, Murasaki sea urchin from Aomori, and Murasaki sea urchin from Hokkaido. My favorite was the Murasaki sea urchin from Aomori, which can only be found at this restaurant. It was refreshing yet creamy, absolutely delicious!

Roppongi, a back alley with no signs. If you didn't know it was here, you wouldn't find it. I hesitate to comment as I was taken there, but it was incredibly delicious so I wanted to share my memories. We had a private course with drinks including Hakushu highball and cold sake later on. The food was amazing: octopus with ponzu sauce or salt, fatty tuna, crab and sea urchin, ark shell, grilled nodoguro with yuzu. The sushi was luxurious and delicious. The dessert was ice cream served in a beautiful dish. The sushi, the service, everything was wonderful! I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

A hidden gem sushi restaurant in Roppongi. There is no sign outside and it's located in a back alley, making it a bit hard to find, but that adds to its charm. I wanted to sit at the counter, but it was full, so we ended up in a private room. The room had a stylish atmosphere with indirect lighting. It's a place where couples, families, and groups can all enjoy. Every dish was delicious. The pickled ginger came in two varieties, sliced and cut into squares, and it even had pickled vegetables which was a nice touch. Perfect for pairing with drinks. A place that serves good pickled ginger also serves good sushi. The fresh toro clam was delicious. The crab meat was so tasty, it made me want to keep drinking. As a surprise, they served grilled nodoguro fish skewers and fried octopus, which added some variety to the meal. A soup with clams and shijimi shells was served, warming the body. The timing of the toro tartare at the end was perfect. For dessert, you could choose from three types of ice cream. Even though I usually don't care for dessert at sushi restaurants, the ice cream served in a beautiful dish was too tempting to resist. I definitely want to come back and sit at the counter next time. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

In a quiet alley near the intersection of Iikura Katamachi, there is a hidden gem sushi restaurant called Rokushiki. Prince occasionally visits this place, which has a stylish private room in addition to a beautifully designed counter. The highlight here is the luxurious quality of the sushi toppings, and most importantly, the delicious seaweed! Prince always buys seaweed to take home with him haha. The pickled ginger and pickled vegetables served as accompaniments are unique to this restaurant. The wine Prince ordered on this day was KENZO's Asatsuyu. Personally, Prince thinks that California Sauvignon Blanc is the best match for sushi. That's all.

I went to a private room at the back table for the first time and it was really great! The private room sofa area is recommended, and the counter is also nice. The sushi is incredibly delicious and the portions are generous, it's the best. I had a glass of champagne and white wine "asatsuyu" and had one more glass but I got drunk and forgot. The highlight of Rokushiki is the pickled ginger - you can get a refill (because it's pickled ginger). The pickled vegetables were also excellent. The diced ginger pickles are cute and delicious.

I have been using a high-end sushi restaurant in Hiroo called "Ikinajyu Sushidokoro Abe" for small gatherings and dinners for a long time. The restaurant is located in a quiet corner of a building near the Iigura intersection, not far from the Sushidokoro Abe Roppongi branch. The atmosphere is like a hidden gem, with an L-shaped counter and several cozy private rooms, making it perfect for gatherings. When you order the omakase, they serve sushi and appetizers alternately, keeping you excited about what will come next. Each dish is carefully prepared with a special touch, using seasonal ingredients. Tonight, I enjoyed dishes like hairy crab shell, homemade creamy ankimo, firefly squid marinated in vinegar, and more, all of which were superb. Despite the high quality, the prices are reasonable. I had a delightful evening enjoying delicious sushi and engaging in pleasant conversations. Thank you for the wonderful meal! I will definitely come back again!

I didn't want to tell anyone, but it became very popular and now it's hard to make a reservation. The relaxed counter, the friendly master, delicious sushi, and reasonable prices. It's no surprise it's a popular restaurant. But the humble master is always wonderful.

This time, I had the omakase course (14300 yen) again! It included 11 pieces of nigiri sushi (+ tamago), 7 side dishes, and dessert. I also drank a lot of wine, so the total bill per person was around 20000 yen. The first dish served was shirako with ponzu sauce! I love this time of year when shirako is in season. The creamy texture and rich flavor of shirako are truly amazing! Next, we had delicious chutoro and kobashira. The grilled nodoguro skewer had the perfect amount of crispiness, and the squid nigiri was fantastic. I was thrilled to see shirako tempura on the menu again, as I can't get enough of it. The crispy torotaku was also a highlight. I've been visiting Rokushiki once a month from July to September, and I'm always happy to enjoy the seasonal delicacies they offer. Visited after two months. The state of emergency is still ongoing, just like last time. Today's main theme was eagerly anticipated. The conclusion was "Uni from Maruhiro Suisan in Hokkaido," "Homemade Ikura," and "Fresh Matsutake Mushrooms"! Started with Otoro as the first course, instantly putting me in sushi mode. Followed by Kobashira, Sumi Ika, lightly seared geso, and Fugu Shirako, ending with a Toro-taku roll using the same Otoro as the first course. The highlight (at least in my opinion) was the Uni from Maruhiro Suisan. It was incredibly rich and flavorful, skillfully dehydrated without the use of any additives. Next was the beautifully presented Ikura, not in Gunkan style but directly on top of the rice. And then the Matsutake mushrooms, still a bit early for domestic ones, these were from Yunnan Province, China. Small but with a good charcoal-grilled texture. Served in a clam and shijimi steamed dish, adding a subtle touch. As the conversation with my friend progressed, the drinks kept flowing. Starting with Toyo Bijin, then Niwano, and finally Nihitomi. The Kawahagi liver salad in between had a slightly Western touch with cream, but it was exceptionally delicious. Once again, thank you for the wonderful meal!

This sushi restaurant is quietly tucked away on a side street with no sign, but inside, the young chef warmly welcomed me✨. Today's omakase sushi set is ¥6600. It's relatively reasonable if you just want sushi pieces. I was the only customer at the opening time of 11:30, so I could enjoy a leisurely conversation with the chef❣️. - Otoro - Kohada - Sumiika - Tai - Chutoro - Katsuo The chef's hobby is going to the movies. He mainly watches on Netflix these days. It's interesting how artisans' hobbies change with the times. - Kinmedai - Akami with wasabi - Uni - Toro roll The sushi rice uses red vinegar and the large grains are made with Koshihikari rice. It's not too sticky, with a slightly firm texture. - Miso soup - Kanpyo roll - Anago I had a total of 10 pieces of sushi and 2 rolls. I would say my stomach was about 80% full. The sushi was easy to eat due to the careful preparation. It was a great experience. Eating sushi in a quiet atmosphere is also enjoyable, rather than in a noisy group. I visited Rokushiki in Roppongi for lunch before! This time, I visited for dinner. The counter was full, so I reserved a private room. We had the omakase course (14300 yen) which included 11 pieces of nigiri, 7 small dishes, egg, soup, and dessert. The meal started with a platter of 3 appetizers, followed by the nigiri. The highlight was the fatty tuna nigiri, which melted in the mouth with a sweet richness. The contrast with the refreshing white fish nigiri was excellent. The dishes kept coming, including seared throat fish, creamy shrimp corn, crispy corn tempura, sea urchin, and toro tartare. The balance of flavors was perfect, and even with drinks, the total cost was around 20,000 yen. Rokushiki is my favorite sushi restaurant for its great value and delicious food.
