One day, I went to a drinking party with an acquaintance after a long time. The place was Juppoe Bisudai. As I entered the entrance and headed towards the restaurant, I remembered that I had been featured in a local magazine in Sapporo, thanks to a CEO I knew. The CEO treated me at his favorite restaurant, which turned out to be Juppoe Bisudai. It was my first time visiting the restaurant for the photoshoot, so I decided to go back to try the food properly. We started with a refreshing appetizer, followed by delicious tomato sashimi and eel. The special minced meat cutlet was a bit overcooked but still tasty. The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for entertaining or a date. The staff even recognized me from the photoshoot and greeted me warmly. I will definitely visit again!

The meeting was with a client. I have been to their branch before, but this was my first visit to the main store. The atmosphere was very calm, quite different from the lively vibe at my usual spot, Kin-Fuji. The menu was extensive, and they tried their best to accommodate our requests, making for a pleasant dining experience. In Sapporo's Chuo Ward, there is Juppoe Bisudai Main Store in Susukino. It has a somewhat hidden feel, located next to buildings like the Oakla Building and Prince Group. We ordered dishes like sliced bluefin tuna and seared uni with Shiraoi beef "Uniku". The course meal starting from sashimi, hot pot, fried dishes, and finishing with udon noodles, all with all-you-can-drink option for 6000 yen is well worth it. The sashimi is delicious, especially the tender octopus head. The grilled tuna also has a satisfying texture. I highly recommend it.

Today was a farewell party at work. A cute junior colleague is moving to another department...so we made a reservation for four people in a private room from 6 o'clock. The restaurant has a half-second floor and a second floor, which is exciting. The atmosphere, including the lighting, is also great. The amazing thing about the private rooms here is that you can't hear the loud voices of the people next door, so you can enjoy a cozy drink with your important friends. Now, let's talk about the orders...we had blowfish skin with ponzu sauce as a starter. It's a bit fishy, but tolerable. We had tuna sashimi, flounder sashimi, sea bream sashimi, and a variety of seafood. So, we had to go with sake, right? There was a wide variety of sake, so we didn't get tired of it. It was served in wine glasses. Then we had rolled omelette, clam rice, and crushed wasabi, and we ate a lot! All the dishes were delicious and satisfying. We ended up staying for six hours, all drinking sake...how many bottles did we drink? In the end, it was around 9,000 yen per person, so considering that we finished the night with just one place, it's not that expensive of a restaurant, I thought.

Near Susukino Station in Sapporo, we went to "Juhou Ichi" as recommended by a local from Hokkaido. The restaurant had a stylish atmosphere, typical of Susukino. We opted for a course meal which included a sashimi platter, grilled crab, and Shiroiwa beef steak, among other dishes. It was a true taste of Hokkaido! We finished off with a delicious kamameshi. We had a great time chatting and ended up drinking quite a bit. It was a mini Hokkaido experience. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I came across a restaurant called "Juhou Ichi" while searching for various shops, and found the name intriguing as I didn't know how to pronounce it. After looking up the menu, I noticed they serve various tuna dishes. This piqued my interest, so I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. The entrance had a stylish and cozy atmosphere. Inside, there was a counter and a bartender on the right, table seating towards the back on the left, and a private room on the second floor. I had reserved a seat at the counter, so I gave my name and sat down at the available counter seat. We started with a draft beer and a ginger highball for my companion. The appetizer was sesame tofu, which had two layers and was incredibly delicious. We tried the "Uni-ku" dish, which was beef topped with sea urchin and salmon roe wrapped together. It was very tasty, but a bit too big for a woman to eat comfortably. The "Su-tan" dish, which was vinegar-marinated beef tongue, was refreshing and delicious. The "Medama Nikomi" dish, which was simmered eyeballs, was full of collagen and had a great flavor that made me crave for white rice. It was heavenly! The "Hire-yaki" dish, which was grilled tuna fin, was too much for two people to finish. It was a bit too fishy in taste. I suggest adding a half portion to the menu. The "Cream Cheese Iburi Gakko" dish was better with Camembert cheese instead of cream cheese. The tempura flakes were unnecessary and made it too oily. I ended up removing them before eating. The "Saba Reishun Sen" dish, which was smoked mackerel, was good, but I personally prefer mackerel with more fat when eaten raw. The restaurant had a stylish interior, elegant tableware, and beautiful presentation, but the taste was just average. It seemed like they focused more on appearance than flavor.

The recommended dish at this restaurant is the "Tuna Sashimi with Seared Surface"! It's really delicious! However, this time we only ordered appetizers, and the only dish we could cook on the table grill was Stingray Fin! It was so good to slowly grill it while drinking alcohol. The alcohol went down very smoothly. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal! I will visit again!

Today, I had a drinking party with my former colleagues from the previous department. It was organized by the person in charge, and we went to a new restaurant. For 4,000 yen, we had a 120-minute all-you-can-drink deal. The menu included: - Today's appetizer - Assorted seasonal seafood with live tiger prawns - Grilled bluefin tuna fin - Scallop and fruit tomato with three-vinegar sauce - Corn tempura - Grilled Shiretoko chicken - Cold Inaniwa udon noodles I decided to go with green tea highballs to conserve energy today. The live tiger prawns were still moving! The meat was firm and delicious. When I sucked the prawn miso, the prawn's legs were still moving! It was quite eerie. Next, the main dish of grilled bluefin tuna fin was served. We all quietly enjoyed the delicious meal. Thank you for the feast. *I really wanted to have some sake, but I decided to hold off because I planned to drink sake at Tom's place for the second round... (laughs).

Last night in Sapporo, we visited a recommended place by a friend. The entrance had a nice atmosphere. We felt a bit underdressed in our hoodies, but the private seating area with curtains made us feel comfortable. We started with a drink all-you-can, enjoying highballs. The tuna appetizer was sweet and salty, cooked to perfection. The sashimi was excellent, with shrimp and white fish as highlights. We were impressed by the decorative knife skills. The main event was the grilled tuna collar, which was huge and delicious. The fat on it was so tasty. Mixing leftover wasabi from the sashimi with it was a great combination. We were getting full, but the steamed egg with sauce was so light and tasty, we wanted more. However, we were already getting stuffed. The pork cutlet made our full stomachs even fuller. To finish, we had a refreshing cold udon with ginger. We were ready for more adventures, so we headed to a snack bar where a beautiful lady awaited us. It was a night to remember.

My colleague made a reservation for us at a place called "Relaxing Private Room." The small space had a low table and soft sofa, perfect for couples to cuddle, but it was a bit awkward for just colleagues. We ordered the following: Masters Dream for 734 yen, Premium Malt's Half & Half for 626 yen, Appetizer for 540 yen with luxurious cherry tofu topped with flying fish, Wagyu Menchi Katsu for 1,058 yen - a perfect size for sharing, juicy and flavorful with a delicious sweet demi-glace sauce. The Smoked Mackerel for 734 yen had a texture similar to lox with a hint of smoky flavor. The Charcoal-Grilled Dish for 734 yen, though small, was fatty and well-seasoned. The Ezo Deer Frankfurter for 972 yen was easy to eat, cut into pieces resembling deer antlers, juicy and tasty without any strange odor. There were plenty of Hokkaido local sake options and Hokkaido-inspired dishes, which would please tourists. Although it wasn't all-you-can-drink, the strict 2-hour seating time could have been announced at the beginning to set a different impression. Overall, it was a full house, so maybe it couldn't be helped. Thank you for the meal!

In November 2018, I was originally planning to go to my first Yuming live concert with a friend, but due to work, my friend couldn't make it. Instead, I went with my daughter, who didn't know any of the songs. After the concert, we decided to have dinner at a restaurant recommended by my daughter's acquaintance. The restaurant was called "Juppou Ebisu-dai" and had a cozy atmosphere. It was located right near Susukino Station. We were seated in a private room and started with a toast with beer and oolong tea. We ordered a colorful sweet potato fry that my daughter wanted, a 100% minced cutlet that I had tried before and enjoyed, and fried tofu with a special sauce. We also shared a luxurious Hokkai Sea Treasure Pot Rice, which was filled with shrimp, scallops, sea urchin, crab, salmon, and salmon roe. The total bill for the two of us came to 7,946 yen. It was a slightly extravagant meal, but we enjoyed it thoroughly. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I found this restaurant when I landed in Hokkaido for a live performance! It was my first time experiencing such delicious seafood! Seafood x private room If you are working or in a business setting, having a private room is essential. We used it for a night dinner with clients from out of town. I seem to have taken a liking to the eggplant side dish as I took a photo of it, haha. I will definitely bring clients here again!

This is an izakaya located in the bustling district of Sapporo city. It is conveniently situated near a train station, bus stop, and parking lot. I ordered the wagyu menchi katsu and beer, and the katsu was thick and juicy. The variety of drinks, aside from beer, was also impressive. I highly recommend this place.

This izakaya is a good place to go with colleagues or friends, the food is delicious. They recommend the menchi katsu, which is large but tastes average. The prices are a bit high, but everything I ate was delicious and the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice, so I might go back again.
