The difficulty lies in the fact that the start time is 18:00, making it hard to make a reservation, but the cost performance is excellent so I want to use it as much as possible. It is a popular restaurant that requires reservations. They only offer an omakase course with 18 sushi and small dishes. The basic menu is mostly the same, but they change the ingredients according to the season. The small dishes and sushi are delicious! It starts with sliced tuna and sea urchin caviar. The small dishes also use high-quality ingredients. The sushi is carefully crafted in the Edo style. Customers are not required to dip the sushi in soy sauce or salt. The meal ends with a bowl of mixed rice topped with meringue egg. This is also a specialty dish. Absolutely delicious.

I always enjoy delicious sushi at this branch just like at the main store in Ebisu. If you want to have sushi at a reasonable price in the city center for lunch, I highly recommend this place. Personally, I think the sushi rolls are the most delicious.

I was drawn to the great cost performance of 17 dishes for 7920 yen, so I made a reservation with a friend for lunch. We arrived at the opening time of 12:00 on a Sunday and the place quickly filled up with reservations. Everything was delicious, but my favorite was the swordfish. It had a nice crunchy texture with a good amount of fat, very delicious. The sweet shrimp marinated in kelp was rich and sticky, which I also liked. The TKG (tamago kake gohan) served at the end was not just a regular egg over rice, but diced seafood topped with fluffy egg whites and yolks, which looked visually appealing and exciting for women. Overall, the course had a large amount of food, and my friend struggled to finish it (laughs).

I feel that the quality is very high for the price. I think everything is very delicious. In particular, the stick sushi with sardine is exquisite. It comes wrapped in seaweed, and the combination with seaweed is outstanding. The TKG at the end is the specialty of this restaurant. I would like to visit again.

I went during the peak of summer heat. Sushi sometimes doesn't taste as good in the summer, but this time it was delicious! The standout dishes were the simmered scallops (apparently cooked at low temperature), yellowtail, and spot prawns. The scallops had a sweet flavor that was truly delicious... I visited the sister restaurant of Ebisu Kuriyagawa-san, which had high ratings. Honestly, the experience was just okay. Some dishes felt like they were pre-made (pickles, salted fish roe, etc.). The sushi restaurant's TKG (tamago kake gohan) was too heavy, making me wonder if they were trying to fill us up with it. (I recommend the smallest size for women.) The service included a pitcher of barley tea as a chaser, which was amusing. For the price of 10,000 yen, the cost performance might not be the best. I recommend it for those who want to fill their stomachs! Thank you for the meal.

Two women visited the restaurant. It was very delicious! The abalone dish that we had never tried before was outstanding. It seems to be a specialty. The rice bowl served at the end was quite a large portion even though we requested the smallest size! And it was very tasty. They also offered a large portion for those who can eat more, which I think is really good for men or big eaters. I didn't have high expectations, but I was really satisfied with the quality considering the price. The seating area behind the counter was narrow, and the interior of the restaurant was small, with high chairs that were honestly uncomfortable to sit on... However, I would still like to come back because not only the sushi but all the dishes were delicious. It is perfect for women to come without any hesitation.

Reservations are easy to make, but it was crowded during lunchtime and almost full. I was drawn to the TKG (tamago kake gohan) and chose the course, and enjoyed it until the end. The portion size is generous. In terms of cost performance, I was very satisfied, but among the many impressive sushi restaurants in Tokyo, the taste is average. It didn't blow me away.

I visited for the second time for lunch. It's easy to make a reservation. It started with red tuna sushi, and ended with fatty tuna and kampyo roll, and dessert. The kampyo was a bit salty, but the mackerel sushi sandwiched in seaweed was delicious! The golden snapper sushi was also very tasty. However, I was surprised that I was charged for the slightly cold green tea!!! The sushi restaurant I usually go to offers free tea, so it was a bit surprising. Well, I guess it's reasonable, so it can't be helped. Next time, I want to try the next level course for TKG!

I visited a sushi restaurant that I had always been curious about during lunchtime on a weekday. I had the chef's choice for lunch. The sushi that came out included: - Fatty tuna with caviar - Sweet sea bream marinated in kombu - Pickled zassai and onion - Sliced sea bream - Seared golden eye snapper - Sushi roll with sardine - White squid - Lean bluefin tuna - Medium fatty tuna - Tamagoyaki (rolled omelette) - Sweet shrimp - Eel - Fatty tuna with pickled radish - Miso soup with seaweed - Rice with raw egg - Salted ice cream with matcha affogato It was a very satisfying meal with a generous amount of food for the price.

I love Itsumi so much ♥️ It's consistently delicious!!! I think you can't find sushi this good at this price anywhere else!!! I recommend it to my friends and they all love it too! It's only a three-minute walk from Akasaka-Mitsuke Station!! So close!!

It had been a while since I visited for lunch. As usual, the restaurant was full. I enjoyed delicious sushi while sipping on Japanese sake. The size of the TKG (raw egg over rice) used to be customizable, but this time it seemed like there was only one option available, which was still satisfying (probably similar to the small size I had at night before, but still filling!). Maybe the size options are only available at night? I stayed for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, so it was easy to do some shopping or other errands on the way back, making it a productive day. It's a restaurant I want to visit regularly.

This underground restaurant is located 2-3 minutes' walk from Akasaka Mitsuke Station. It is a sister store of the famous Kuraya Kawa in Ebisu. Despite being in Akasaka, the sushi here is delicious with a well-balanced combination of toppings and rice. Considering the location, I also think it offers good value for money!

Today was our wedding anniversary dinner. We stopped by Shibuya, where we were surprised by the changes in the city and felt a little lonely. We headed to Akasaka to enjoy the main event of sushi. The access was very good, with the restaurant located in the underground of the city center. It seemed to be a popular spot as there was a sign saying "Fully booked today." We were seated at a calm counter seat and the young sushi chef skillfully prepared our sushi, which had a tangy red vinegar flavor and was very delicious. We were given detailed explanations and enjoyed tasting the sushi. Personally, I found the grunt, golden eye snapper, and abalone to be particularly delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Yavai Sushi-kai in Akasaka! The sister restaurant of Sushi Kuriya Kawano in Ebisu, which was created for the training of inexperienced chefs. This place offers unexpected combinations like cheese & karasumi, abalone kariin, and tempura, focusing on entertainment, inspiration, and ideas. What I like here is the abalone kariin and tempura, as well as the fact that sake comes in a small bottle. This time, I tried the Hatsugame sushi, and I was impressed by the sushi chef's skills. The table seating might be better than the counter here. The truffle soup with nodoguro was better in the past. The tuna from Yamazuki was okay. The actions of the staff were a bit distracting. The scallop and crab were good, but I also sensed a hint of seaweed in the dish. Lastly, we decided on the size of the TKG dish together. What size would you choose? Oh, and the dessert is delicious too, especially the green tea with salted ice cream.
