I was invited by a friend to visit this restaurant for the first time. I had checked out the reviews on Tabelog beforehand and it seemed like a place where you can enjoy sushi at a reasonable price. The ratings were also high so I was really looking forward to it. We started at 5 pm. They had Sapporo Red Star beer which was a nice surprise. We were served clam soup as a complimentary appetizer, just as I had read in the reviews. We ordered some appetizers - oysters for 680 yen, whale bacon for 980 yen, and striped jack fish for 680 yen. The oysters were delicious and well worth the price. The sushi menu had prices listed for each item, so we ordered a variety of sushi. We tried horse mackerel for 280 yen, Kawahagi fish from Oita for 480 yen, cured mackerel for 380 yen, mantis shrimp for 680 yen, fresh salmon roe for 280 yen, red clam for 190 yen, red clam for 480 yen, squid for 380 yen, Japanese halfbeak from Amakusa for 280 yen, carabinero prawn for 780 yen, sardine for 380 yen, marinated tuna (from Aomori) for 380 yen, herring for 230 yen, white squid for 480 yen, sea urchin for 880 yen, scallop for 380 yen, fresh tuna (not marinated) for 380 yen, eel for 380 yen. The red clam, sardine, fresh tuna, and squid were particularly outstanding. The mantis shrimp was a bit disappointing. The prices were all inclusive of tax, making it easy to calculate the bill. We spent around 9,000 yen for the two of us. With such affordable prices, I can see why this place is becoming popular. They have been in business since 2015, and it seems like making a reservation might be a challenge, but I definitely want to come back. Thank you, K-san, for recommending such a great place. It was a wonderful meal.
