Hokkaido Donmaru Inada - August 15, 2023 Today, I visited Hokkaido Donmaru in Inada, Obihiro, to try their seasonal menu. The restaurant is located behind the Homac Inada store, with a brown exterior and a cozy interior dining space with three 4-person tables. I ordered the Hokkaido salmon and ikura rice bowl with extra toppings of ikura and fatty tuna. The salmon and ikura were fresh and flavorful, with the ikura bursting in my mouth. The fatty tuna topping was a must-try and added to the overall deliciousness of the dish. I highly recommend visiting Hokkaido Donmaru in Inada for a taste of Hokkaido's seasonal delights. Hokkai Donmaru Inada, July 9, 2023 Today, I did what I could do now, which is to be careful and at least support a restaurant. Let's all do our best together! I was informed on Instagram about a limited-time menu that I had been looking forward to this year. I visited Hokkai Donmaru Inada, a restaurant located in Obihiro, Inada. They have a cozy eat-in space with 3 four-person tables. I made a reservation and ordered the special eel bowl for 1,188 yen, topped with extra fatty tuna for 162 yen, and a mixed seafood bowl for 540 yen. The eel was thick, tender, and delicious, and the mixed seafood bowl had a variety of fresh ingredients and was very tasty. The prices were reasonable, and I will definitely come back to try the eel with white rice next time. The staff was busy but still came out of the kitchen to ask if they could serve the eel with white rice, which was very thoughtful. Thank you for the delicious meal! Hokkaido Donmaru, Inada, June 17, 2023. Today, I visited a reasonably priced seafood bowl restaurant to support local businesses. The restaurant offers a weekend special seafood bowl that can be ordered anytime. The restaurant is located in Obihiro, Inada, behind the Homac Inada store. They offer takeout and have a small dining area with 4 tables. I ordered the Super Seafood Bowl with extra rice and toppings like fatty tuna, salmon, scallops, squid, shrimp, shrimp tail, sea urchin, salmon roe, and tamago. The bowl was delicious and very affordable. The fatty tuna was particularly flavorful and had a nice texture. I will definitely come back to try their eel next time. Overall, a great dining experience at Hokkaido Donmaru, Inada. Thank you!

Hokkaido Donmaru Inada Branch 2023.03.12 Today, I visited a reasonably priced seafood bowl restaurant called "Hokkaido Donmaru Inada Branch" in Obihiro, Inada, after seeing it on Instagram. They offer takeout and have a small eat-in space with no parking lot. I ordered the following dishes for dine-in: - Super Seafood Bowl with extra rice: 972 yen (tax included). Toppings of sea urchin and crab meat are available for an additional 162 yen each (tax included). - Fatty Tuna Cut-off Bowl (with extra toppings of fatty tuna): 1,080 yen (tax included). Topping of minced fatty tuna costs 162 yen (tax included). The bowl included fatty tuna, tuna, fatty salmon, salmon, shirako, scallop, engawa, sweet shrimp, and salmon roe. The weekend and holiday limited Super Seafood Bowl has 10 different toppings and is both affordable and delicious. Although I was interested in the full fatty tuna bowl, they only had the cut-off version today, but adding minced fatty tuna made it a fatty tuna feast with rich flavors. I love vinegared rice, but after two bowls, I start to get a little tired of it. I will definitely come back for more delicious seafood bowls in the future. Thank you for the meal. Today, I visited a reasonably priced seafood bowl restaurant that I had been checking out on Instagram. It's called "Hokkaido Donmaru Inada Branch." They have seating for dining in, but no parking lot. The location is in Inada, Obihiro, behind the Homac Inada store on the south side. The exterior is a one-story building with brown walls. Inside, there are three 4-person tables for dining in. I ordered the Uni Ikura Bowl (extra-large portion) for 1,296 yen (tax included) with a topping of Negitoro for 162 yen (tax included), and the Anago Bowl (extra-large portion) for 810 yen (tax included). The Uni was plentiful and delicious, while the Ikura was small but tasty as it's nearing the end of its season. The Anago was well-cooked, boneless, tender, and flavorful with a sweet and savory sauce. I love vinegared rice, but after two bowls, I started to get a bit tired of it. Next time, I'll come back to try the Maguro Bowl. Thank you for the delicious meal. Hokkaido Donmaru Inada Branch has dining in available with operating hours from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and irregular closing days.

Hokkai Donmaru - Inada, Obihiro Today I visited a takeout-only shop that also has an eat-in space, Hokkai Donmaru in Inada, Obihiro. The exterior is a one-story building with a brown wall, and inside there are three 4-seater tables for dining in. I ordered the eel bowl (special size) for 1,296 yen and the chef's choice bowl for 540 yen with the option for a larger portion for free. The eel bowl had a generous portion of eel on top of vinegared rice, and the chef's choice bowl included salmon, engawa, kihada chutoro, negitoro, kinshi tamago, and pickled ginger on a bed of vinegared rice. The rice was slightly warm with a perfect amount of vinegar, making it delicious. The chef's choice bowl was surprisingly affordable for the quality and quantity of the ingredients. I plan to come back next time to try the luxurious bowl. Overall, a satisfying meal at Hokkai Donmaru in Inada, Obihiro.

I entered the restaurant with my usual partner. I initially planned to get takeout, but there was also an eat-in area available. The Obihiro branch opened around 3-4 years ago, if I remember correctly. I had been curious about it, but I had tried the food in Sapporo before, so I knew what to expect. I remembered it around 7 PM when I had some business nearby, so I decided to make a little detour. It was my first time visiting. There were many menu items with photos on the walls, making it very easy to understand. The basic dishes were around 500 yen, with more expensive ones going up to about 1000 yen. I ordered a basic seafood bowl for 500 yen plus tax. The taste and portion size were impressive for the price of 500 yen. However, they use strong acid water for safety reasons, which gives a slight unusual taste to the raw ingredients, but it's for safety purposes. I really enjoyed the meal. I would like to visit this restaurant again when I pass by the area. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Hokkai Donmaru Bibai Inada store! It was my first visit. I had known about its existence for a while, but always forgot about it. Today, for some reason, I suddenly remembered and headed there. The interior of the restaurant is simple, with a counter for ordering at the back. There are large menus on the wall with photos, showing a wide variety of dishes, mostly priced at 500 yen, with the exception of those with sea urchin priced at 600 yen. I was indecisive, so I chose their representative menu item, the "Manpuku Don with extra rice" for takeout. It was prepared in less than 3 minutes, and the portion of rice was quite generous. The toppings were also sizable, with plenty of soy sauce drizzled over them. It tasted good, nothing extraordinary, but satisfying. The price was definitely a plus point. If you ever crave a seafood bowl, this place is worth considering. Thank you Hokkai Donmaru for the meal!

"Donmaru" I'm alone in Obihiro today, the road surface was not slippery, so I drove without tension. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep three times while driving, so I'm feeling very energetic. I had ramen for lunch. The ramen in Obihiro... what happened? It was a strange ramen. My wife is coming home late today, so I'll take my time going back. Work has been tough since New Year's. I'll stop by "Donmaru". There was a customer before me who took a long time to decide, so I passed. I already knew what I wanted, the "Uogashi don". It was ready in 5 minutes. Huh? Did you make the negitoro? That was fast. Hmm!! As expected, it looks like a "Uogashi". The flowing curves and awakening straight lines, right? Those who understand will immediately recognize it, and those who do understand should consider seeing a psychiatrist. My wife tried the "Uogashi don". I didn't expect it to have sea urchin, but I definitely won't eat it. My wife ate it. "This isn't delicious, right?" That's all? She still ate it all and then complained, "This sea urchin isn't tasty." Those who think it's delicious are mistaken. I can eat the negitoro. Even things below average taste good to me. Tuna is never bad. Squid is never bad. Sea urchin doesn't need to be there to improve the rating. The sushi rice feels kind of mediocre to me. A bit more sourness would be better. Well, it's only a cheap meal, so I don't have high expectations. It's good enough to eat!

Last November, I visited Hokkaidonmaru Obihiro Inada Store, which opened last year and is the 6th seafood bowl takeout store in Hokkaido (although the Motomachi store closed on 12/31, so now it's 5 stores?). The store was previously Hillbilly, and although the parking lot is a bit far away, there is a sign indicating that parking in front of the store is also okay. Personally, Inada is outside my usual area of activity, so I hesitated to spend money on gas just for this (laughs), but I decided to go to the store along with another errand to get my knife sharpened at Yokado Miyabun. I was curious about the Inada store's original luxury bowl, but I decided to go for the seafood bowl priced at one coin plus tax. The seafood bowl with a regular serving for 540 yen was my choice. I received the bowl after waiting for about 4 minutes due to other customers waiting as well. The seafood bowl came in a sturdy plastic container with a Diane sauce label on it. The toppings included tuna, squid, salmon, cured mackerel, scallops, sweet shrimp, and salmon roe. The rice was slightly soft and had a sweet vinegar flavor. The quality of the sashimi was similar to what you would find in a supermarket assortment, but with the addition of seasoned rice at this price, it was quite satisfying. If I were to add more of my favorite toppings, I would choose scallops - although they were cut into small pieces, the taste was good. If you're looking for more value, you could opt for the ikura bowl or the squid bowl, which may be more expensive due to scarcity. However, with so many options available, it's more fun to choose your favorite toppings rather than focusing on cost-effectiveness (laughs). The regular serving with 240g of rice is equivalent to about 7-8 plates of sushi from a conveyor belt sushi restaurant (according to a local magazine advertisement). If you don't need chopsticks or soy sauce, you can inform the staff and they will provide you with miso soup (the price of 50 yen next to the cash register is unclear). With so many choices, take your time to decide on your toppings. Thank you for the meal ===========

A new seafood bowl restaurant opened in the neighborhood where a hamburger shop and select shop used to be. Despite the initial excitement, it seems like they didn't advertise much as the place looks quiet when passing by. Inside, there is a large menu and I decided to try the "Fisherman's Bowl" for 500 yen (excluding tax) which seemed like a good deal. The dish was prepared quickly and the taste was decent for the price. It's a good option for those looking for a quick and affordable seafood bowl. It would be helpful if they highlighted a recommended dish to attract more customers.
