I went with my former boss and there were just two of us. We were guided to a private-like space because we wanted to talk in depth, but it was a bit narrow. It was just right for two people, but it would be tight for 3-4 people. The sashimi platter was very luxurious and my former boss was very pleased. I will definitely use this place again for small gatherings.

It was a company year-end party at a stylish izakaya with private rooms and a chic sunken hearth. Tonight's course included a 5000 yen all-you-can-drink option, and the sashimi platter was beautifully presented individually. I didn't have high expectations for the party course, but the restaurant was nice and it would be a good place for a lively gathering with everyone. We had a great time getting pleasantly drunk and moved on to a second party. Thank you for the meal.

Day 1 of my trip to Hokkaido. Even though it was a weekday, every izakaya I called was full. I happened to stumble upon this izakaya while walking around. It is located on the 4th floor of the G-DINING building. Inside the G-DINING building, there are many dining options, and I was drawn in by the appetizing photos of seafood dishes displayed at the entrance. Once inside, I found a counter and several private rooms at the back. Despite the sudden visit, I was guided to a private room without saying a word. I ordered a Cassis Orange cocktail, and some appetizers were served alongside. The cocktail and appetizers were decent. For food, I ordered Inca no Mezame fried potatoes, sea urchin sashimi, tuna sashimi, ikura don, grilled hokke, dashimaki tamago, salad with fluffy onion dressing, and large shrimp tempura. The sashimi was fresh and delicious, and the dashimaki tamago had a strong dashi flavor. The hokke was thick and flavorful, a true local specialty. The shrimp tempura was crispy and tasty. The only disappointment was the ikura don, which lacked presentation. I wished they had added some shredded seaweed for visual appeal. For my second drink, I had a Yuzu Mojito. The price was a bit high, but the experience of dining in a private room was worth it. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant has a black theme with small private rooms for two people. It might be tight for slightly larger individuals. The rooms have open ceilings so you can easily hear the conversations from the neighboring room (lol). The drink selection is good but a bit on the pricey side overall. The wine is not served in wine glasses as shown in the pictures. The portions are also on the smaller side. The bluefin tuna was more like lean meat and seemed to be aged, which wasn't to my liking. I forgot to take a picture because the presentation was impressive. The dish of miso-marinated black cod was priced at 1480 yen, but it only had 2 pieces, which felt a bit expensive for the portion size. I wish it was cooked a bit more thoroughly. After about 40 minutes, we left for our next culinary adventure:-(,,,

I had no idea about this place until I was taken there by someone who said there was a good restaurant. It's called "Uokichi Bettei Kai" and it's located in the G-DINING Sapporo Building, which seems to have several other good restaurants like steakhouses and tempura places. When you enter, the staff will guide you to a private room. Every room is a private room. We toasted with beer and then the "Assorted Sashimi" arrived. Each person got their own plate of assorted sashimi! Is this a single serving? It's a huge amount! Snow crab, scallops, saltwater sea urchin, tuna, amberjack, flounder, rockfish, shrimp, firefly squid. I thought this was enough for today! Haha. The sashimi was all fresh and delicious, very satisfying! While many places treat sashimi more like an appetizer, here it's clearly a main dish. There was no way I thought I could finish it all, but I managed to eat it all! The "Snow Crab and Asparagus Tempura" was served after the raw dishes, refreshing with a touch of salt. Truly delicious seasonal vegetables! The "Tokachi Beef Charcoal Grill" was a bit disappointing. Maybe it was overcooked? A bit tough. It's not a problem with Tokachi beef, but maybe pork would be tastier? I hope they are more selective with their meat dishes. The "Steamed Trout with Miso" was a comforting dish. The tender steamed trout paired well with the slightly sweet sauce, really tasty. The "Fish Head Soup and Salmon Roe Bowl" needs no words. The soup was not miso soup, but fish head soup, which was great. The broth and saltiness were perfect. The salmon roe had just the right soy sauce flavor, no distracting seaweed or anything, which was great. I was really full, but managed to finish it all. I was very satisfied with the abundance of fresh and delicious sashimi. It's great to try a variety of dishes, but this kind of meal is also nice. Thank you for the meal.

I used this restaurant for a staff dinner. During my business trip to Sapporo, I often end up eating at national chain family restaurants for lunch due to time constraints. For dinner, we usually go to a nearby Chinese restaurant near the office. But once in a while, why not venture out to Susukino? This place is located in a building that boasts of curated dining establishments, and it specializes in fish dishes. It's near the Susukino intersection, right behind the Toyoko Inn Susukino intersection. The restaurant is on the 4th floor of a building called G-DINING, and it has a slightly dimmed lighting with private room-style seating (which seems to be common in recent izakayas). The sashimi platter served after the appetizer was luxurious, featuring half a snow crab, sea urchin, and button shrimp among other items. This was followed by deep-fried salmon, yellowtail with daikon radish, chicken in spicy cod roe sauce, and ended with a salmon roe rice bowl. While the initial surprise was impressive, the rest of the meal was average, leaving you with a feeling of "is this it?" But considering it was a 3500 yen course meal, it's understandable. The course also included all-you-can-drink local sake, making it a 5500 yen per person course.

I went there for the first time and was satisfied with both the food and the atmosphere. The atmosphere of the restaurant is like a hidden gem, very calm and peaceful. I could relax in a private room without hearing the voices from next door. The course meal I had was priced at 5000 yen, which included a 3500 yen course and a 1500 yen all-you-can-drink option. The sashimi was amazing, with a generous portion that included half a snow crab, scallops, saltwater sea urchin, and medium fatty tuna. They also provided a charcoal grill, so you could grill the crab and sear the tuna yourself. The staff was also very attentive and overall, I was satisfied with the experience. I would love to go back there again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
