Last night, I attended a gathering with 8 classmates from my student days who live in the Sapporo area. It was like a survival confirmation meeting. It was the first time I had seen these people since graduation, about 43 years ago. The restaurant they chose was nice and the price was reasonable. The private room was well set up and the food portion was adequate for everyone in their 60s. The drinks were decent, although the glasses were a bit small. The drinks were served quickly, but the last order was a bit early compared to the closing time. We were able to stay for almost 2 and a half hours. Despite some minor issues, we had a good time. I wonder when the next gathering will be...

- Boat platter?
- Deep-fried eggplant in broth
- Tsubugai (whelk)?
- Garlic shrimp
- I forgot if it was yellowtail or amberjack, but there was a cheap special offer
- Complimentary appetizer of meat stew
- All-you-can-drink option for around 4000 yen with a couple of featured cheap items, like yellowtail for about 300 yen each. It felt like a good deal.
- I was seated in a private room, but I wonder if all seats are private rooms?
- The seating was in a sunken kotatsu style, and orders were placed through a touch panel.
- The sashimi was fresh and delicious, making me think it's a great place for seafood lovers.
- The garlic shrimp had a rich flavor, which might be appealing to those who enjoy alcohol. The eggplant also had a strong taste.
- It seems like the dishes are designed to complement the drinks.
- If you're looking for seafood, this place is recommended over sushi.
- Thanks for the meal!

I visited "Kaisen Koshitsu Sakaba Imari Tanukikoji Ekimae Store" on May 21st for the second time. This time, I visited with a reservation for a private room at 5:30 PM. Despite many restaurants claiming to have private rooms, this place truly had completely private rooms. It was nice that even though you could hear voices, your line of sight was blocked. I reserved a seat for the all-you-can-drink plan without heels for 1320 yen. The conditions were for a minimum of 2 people for 120 minutes. The website mentioned a minimum order of 390 yen per person for 2 items, but it wasn't explained at the restaurant. The all-you-can-drink price was 1050 yen as displayed on the sign outside.
We ordered:
- Appetizer for 495 yen: Bamboo shoot and chicken simmered dish, the crunchy texture of bamboo shoot was nice.
- Fluffy and creamy Mentaiko dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet) for 649 yen, the creamy texture was quite prominent.
- Naka-Satsunai Village Agricultural Cooperative's edamame for 429 yen, the homegrown edamame was a pleasant surprise.
- Sauce yakisoba for 539 yen, the flavor was strong, and it contained minced meat and wilted bean sprouts.
- Onigiri for 539 yen, with Mentaiko and salmon flavors, the rice was cooked well and shiny.
- Salted cabbage for 539 yen, a simple and cost-effective item.
- Avocado cheese teppanyaki for 649 yen, a tasty item with avocado, tomato, bacon, and cheese.
Overall, the food was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited "Kaisen Koshitsu Sakaba Imari Tanukikoji Ekimae-ten" on March 28th for the first time. It was a farewell party due to a job transfer. We had a course meal with all-you-can-drink (150 minutes). The course included beer, which was a good deal at 3980 yen with a coupon. You can also smoke inside. The food was served quickly in a private room. We had a variety of seafood dishes, sushi, sashimi, and more. The crab shell gratin was tasty, and the pork shoulder steak was served with garlic chips, broccoli, and potatoes. The meal also included simmered young chicken with root vegetables, fried fish with green onion soy sauce, fried corn, and tempura. The meal was accompanied by rice with salted kelp and shredded egg, and ended with sherbet for dessert. Overall, it was a good value for the price, and I would consider trying their a la carte menu next time. Thank you for the meal.

I was lured by the all-you-can-drink for 1000 yen, but when I checked the details, I found out that beer is not included. However, as long as I can drink highballs, I'm satisfied. The menu has almost everything except for yakitori. There are also dishes with creative names that are a bit confusing. Most of the menu items are reasonably priced at under 1000 yen. The highlight here is the private rooms, perfect for those who want to drink without worrying about others, and for those who want to smoke while drinking. Highly recommended.

◆Sapporo Tanukikoji Seafood Private Room Izakaya Imari◆
I visited the seafood private room izakaya Imari in Tanukikoji for the first time for a drinking party. They offer all-you-can-drink, so we enjoyed eating and drinking various items. The price was reasonable, but in terms of seafood, I think the ones in the Tokyo area are much tastier. If you associate "Hokkaido" with delicious food, then it's good. Well, the private room was nice. Overall, the cost performance is not bad.

I visited this restaurant for the first time at a group party a while ago (someone else made the reservation), and I was impressed with the quality compared to the price. The following month, I went with my family for a birthday celebration and ordered a course meal for four people. It came with all-you-can-drink for 4,000 yen, and I was surprised at how good the food was. The sashimi, including sea urchin, abalone, and salmon, was fresh, and the crab hot pot and meat dishes were very satisfying. Sometimes at all-you-can-drink places, the drinks can take a while to arrive, but they were brought to us promptly here. This is a big plus. Also, being able to eat in a private room without worrying about others was nice. If you're the organizer of a group party, I recommend this restaurant as everyone will be satisfied.

We can't live without drinking, right? So we gathered for our usual girls' night out. We chose this place because everything is in a private room, making it safe from Corona, and we found a coupon for unlimited drinks, which Nonbe loves. The drink-all-you-can deal costs around 2000 yen, but it's worth it because it's unlimited until 11:00 PM, so you can drink for 5 hours! We started with sake, and we were having so much fun that we forgot to take photos. The appetizers were delicious, especially the thick and rich Akkeshi oysters for 300 yen, and the fatty Himekansuji sushi for 290 yen. The portions were decent, like the 680 yen tuna sashimi. The grilled shellfish was a bit overpriced, but the spicy green pepper dumplings were really tasty. The cucumber pickles were just average, while the shrimp tempura was forgettable. The boiled hair crab for 2500 yen was disappointing with little meat and dry texture. The adult yakisoba was an interesting twist with a unique flavor. We ended up spending around 4800 yen each for food and drinks for three people, which was quite reasonable considering we went to a second location afterwards. Oh, we forgot to order the tachipon! Thank you for the meal.

Cheers with plum wine and soda! The appetizer was stuffed highland tofu, very healthy! The snack was fresh oysters from Akkeshi, great value! Fried potatoes from Kitakari were sweet and delicious! Edamame is a classic choice! Imari's seafood assortment was photogenic and fresh! Whole live abalone sashimi had a great texture! Natto cheese pancake seems good for the body! Whale sashimi is rare! Grilled shellfish was piping hot! Grilled squid with cheese and mayo, and wasabi-covered grilled beef skirt steak, we asked for the wasabi on the side for the kids! For the finale, we had mentaiko and salmon onigiri, along with cassis orange, orange mango soft drinks, orange juice, ginger ale, cola, green tea, and more! For dessert, we enjoyed homemade rich pudding, mascarpone and tiramisu, tempura ice cream, red grape sorbet, yuzu sherbet. Thank you for the feast! Arrived at 6 pm on a weekday for a company year-end party with about 30 people. This year's party was held on a weekday for various reasons. The restaurant is located on a side street near Susukino in Tanukikoji. It is on the B1 floor, but we were guided upstairs to a low-ceiling loft-like mezzanine (or is it the first floor?). The background music was 60-70s rock and pop. The organizer confirmed that the special course was Matsusaka beef steak, taraba crab, and fugu, including 9 dishes for 8000 yen (originally 9000 yen) with a 150-minute all-you-can-drink option. Drinks were ordered through a touch panel, and although they said it was Ebisu beer, it didn't taste very strong. The meal included: - Appetizer: Stuffed tofu with chicken - Sashimi: 7 types of fresh seafood including Ise ebi, fugu, abalone, uni, scallop, shellfish, and salmon - Hot pot: Fugu seafood hot pot - Grilled dish: Matsusaka beef and truffle steak - Snow crab platter: Thick and packed with meat - Simmered dish: Simmered young chicken - Side dish: Fried anglerfish - Rice: 3 pieces of sushi - Dessert: Seasonal sherbet Overall, the food was delicious and satisfying. Our yearly party usually has courses around 8000 yen, but this one had a luxurious feel to it. Drink refills took a bit of time, but I would like to come back to try individual dishes next time.

We had a social gathering with a group on a business trip from Tokyo. We chose a 5000 yen course with a 2.5-hour all-you-can-drink option. The menu we saw online included a luxurious sashimi platter with abalone, spiny lobster, and blowfish, as well as Wagyu sukiyaki. However, the actual dishes were disappointing. The abalone slices were tiny, about 1 millimeter thick, with each person getting just one piece. The spiny lobster was boiled and hidden in its shell, with each person getting a small portion. The crab was lacking, and the other sashimi was similar in quality. The Wagyu sukiyaki had a large pot and plenty of soup, but the meat portion was disappointing, with only one piece per person. The tempura was dry from being left out, and the dessert sherbet was bite-sized. Overall, the meal was mediocre for the price of 5000 yen. We should have realized this when we were able to make a last-minute reservation for the course on the day of the event. We won't be returning.

I just came here to escape the cold from the previous shop (lol). It's still too cold for outdoor seating in the evening (lol). Now, at this place, "Iimari" Seafood Private Room Izakaya, South 3rd Street Main Store, it's a dog-friendly restaurant! They have private rooms where your furry friend can join you. There aren't many places like this in Sapporo, so it's a great spot for dog owners! As long as your dog is well-behaved, you can enjoy your meal in peace. We were led to a private room at the back, and the staff welcomed our dog with a smile. It's just a regular sunken kotatsu private room. We ordered a set of deep-fried skewers, dashimaki, and egg appetizers. The most surprisingly delicious dish was the "Truffle Egg Rice Bowl," and it was only around 300-400 yen. It had a strong truffle flavor and was a tasty egg rice bowl. Highly recommended! The overall price and food were great. Plus, the all-you-can-drink option was cheap! This place offers good value for money. The restaurant may be a bit dark due to being underground, but it's a dog-friendly izakaya, which is rare. I will definitely come back if I have the chance!

I came to "Imari Minami 3-jo Honten," a seafood private room izakaya located in FA-3S Building B1F, Nishi 3-jo Minami 3-chome. It was a small drinking party with my ramen friends. It's a busy time at the end of the year, so everyone is quite occupied. Let's get started! I arrived around 7 pm and was guided to the reserved private room. The underground and sunken kotatsu seating made the floor quite cold. What should I eat? I decided to go for the all-you-can-drink Sapporo Classic beer for an additional 200 yen. Ah, delicious! Even though it's cold, I always start with beer. Even though we were already drinking during the pre-meeting, we couldn't resist. The appetizer was frozen tofu stuffed with meat, which was delicious but quite cold. They also prepared a seafood hot pot, a sashimi platter with 6 types of sashimi, including scallops and fatty tuna which were particularly delicious, beef teppanyaki, deep-fried white fish, and tempura. The freshly fried tempura was a bit oily but had a soft texture. The udon noodles at the end were a perfect finish. The attentive service of the staff was evident throughout. Overall, it seems like the satisfaction level is high for the higher-priced courses. We moved on to the second party. Thank you for the meal!

The all-you-can-drink option costs 1000 yen for 100 minutes, with options like beer and shochu for 1200 yen, classic drinks for 1300 yen, and Ebisu draft beer for 1400 yen. The restaurant has private rooms, but the entrance and hallway are narrow. The seafood sushi platter included various types of fish like mackerel, shrimp, scallops, and bonito, all fresh and delicious. The Edamame from Nakasatsunai was crunchy and elegant in flavor. The soy sauce-marinated oysters were a bit salty but paired well with grated radish. Although there were many dishes to try, the staff was friendly and efficient, and ordering was easy with a touch panel. I would definitely go back again.

This time, I decided to celebrate my friend's Happy Birthday by splurging a bit with a 10,000 yen course meal. Since my friend loves seafood, I thought about sushi, but I felt it might be too fancy, so I chose a familiar izakaya instead. It's a recently opened establishment with several other branches in the same group. The course menu included a sashimi platter with crab and abalone. The platter had chu-toro, salmon, sea urchin, bonito, grunt, and blowfish! There was also Matsusaka beef shabu-shabu and Ise lobster steak! I had never tried Matsusaka beef or Ise lobster before, but they were indeed delicious. The dishes were all very tasty and I was very satisfied! However, the pace at which the dishes were served was too fast, causing the food to get cold or dry out. It would have been better if they had adjusted the pace based on the customers' eating speed. There was no explanation about the dishes, and even though I had seen the course menu beforehand, it would have been nice to have some information about the sashimi and other dishes. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and would consider coming back if I have the chance. Thank you for the feast!

Toto-chan's health check-up is over, so Susukino is now allowed~~ (^^)/ Since I had the chance, I visited this newly opened place. The menu items I was aiming for were: "Imari seafood 'Gottamori'" for 980 yen, "Shinshu salmon nigiri, seared & ikura on top (2 pieces)" for 290 yen, "Uni and ikura one-bite rice balls (2 pieces)" for 580 yen, "Garlic shrimp" for 680 yen. Additionally, I tried the "Ikura on top salmon and parent-child isobe-age" for 680 yen and "Cheese fry" for 480 yen. For drinks, I had the "freshly squeezed grapefruit sour" for 150 yen (discounted from the regular price of 350 yen per order of 2 dishes per person). Maybe I had a taste disorder or something, but I couldn't fully enjoy the lunch curry or the dishes and drinks here (^^;) The freshly squeezed grapefruit sour didn't taste sweet, so I mixed it with grapefruit juice to drink. Even though the food looked delicious, I couldn't find it particularly tasty (^^;) I feel a bit bad leaving it at that, so I'll come back after adjusting my condition m(_ _ )m I'll give it a slightly positive rating.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Dining in a private room allows you to enjoy your meal without worrying about others, and drinks are served promptly, so there is no stress.

It's been a while since my last post. I went to Imari Minami Sanjo restaurant for a 2500 yen all-you-can-eat and drink course with a reservation due to the influence of the coronavirus. While Susukino has turned into a ghost town, there were quite a few people in the restaurant. I was guided to a private room with a sunken kotatsu seat and started eating. I forgot the specific rules, but I was able to eat to my heart's content! The service was a bit slow, but I had skewers, shabu-shabu pot, chicken steak, ice cream, fried rice, cold tofu, and onion rings! It was only 2500 yen! It was a good experience and the food was delicious, so it was great!
