We enjoyed a delicious seafood feast on our first night in Hokkaido, featuring a selection of sashimi, snow crab, assorted grilled skewers, and two types of shrimp sashimi. The meal was accompanied by refreshing Haskap sours and corn tea. The seafood, sourced from the pristine waters of Hokkaido, was truly exceptional. My partner also indulged in beer and whiskey. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.

My friend visited from Tokyo and we happened to come across this restaurant to go out for drinks. Many of the places I usually go to are closed on Sundays, and the popular ones were fully booked... It was my first time visiting, but it pleasantly surprised me. The private rooms are great for small groups to have a lively time. The fish was fresh and my friends were pleased.

The freshness is good, but the portion size is small. There is a shop in the 3rd Green Ville. The spacious and private interior is relaxing for drinking. The sashimi platter with 5 pieces for 990 yen seems cheap at first, but each piece is small. It's not really meant to fill you up with sashimi, but I guess I was wrong (laughs). The glass of Fukushi Junmai sake was around 500 yen, with just a tiny amount in the cup. Despite the good quality of ingredients, service, and ambiance, the overall experience was a bit disappointing. Maybe more geared towards tourists?

On October 28, 2022, I was searching for a private room izakaya and came across this restaurant, so I decided to go in. It was a calm and cozy atmosphere, with good service from the staff. Even though it was all-you-can-drink, I noticed Seagram's Royal Mizunara 12 Year on the menu. I ordered it as a highball. It wasn't part of the all-you-can-drink menu, so I was skeptical if it was the real deal, but I could feel the woody flavor. I ended up drinking too much...

I used this restaurant for my third meal during my trip to Hokkaido. I wanted to eat fish, but I was already quite full, so I decided to order the ramen salad instead. It was like a vegetable-heavy cold noodle dish with sesame dressing on the side. It had corn in it, but I was a bit drunk and found it difficult to pick up with chopsticks. Since the restaurant name included the town name "Mashike," we had a lively discussion about baldness. When you're drunk, even silly conversations like that can be fun.

I came here looking for a restaurant with all-you-can-drink option. The private rooms were nicely separated and there was a designated smoking area near the entrance which was convenient. They had a wide variety of drinks and the food, especially the seafood, was of high quality and satisfying.

I relaxed in the sauna and then went out for dinner, or rather, a drink. I was craving sashimi and wandered around Susukino, but the places I had in mind were either closed or full, so I ended up going to a restaurant I had been to before - Uosensuisan in Hokkaido, Masaki Town. You can spot it by the neon sign of Sapporo Beer on the building. I was seated at the counter and ordered drinks first. I chose a tasting set of three local sakes (from Kunitoki Sake Brewery) for ¥1,290, which included a special junmai, "Demon Grated" sake, and "Fisherman's Power Water" (red, super dry). I also ordered a Seabass Regal Highball for ¥489. The sake was accompanied by an appetizer of clams steamed in sake and a beef tartare. For food, I had a sashimi platter with 7 types of fish for ¥899 (halibut, tuna, octopus, sweet shrimp, salmon, kanpachi, and sao-i), a mixed skewer set of 5 for ¥790 (pork, pork belly, chicken liver, green onion and ground chicken), sea urchin sashimi for ¥1,499 (purple sea urchin), scallop sashimi for ¥699, buttered potatoes for ¥499, delicious squid salted fish roe for ¥399, and octopus fritters for ¥639. I mostly chose dry sakes. The "Fisherman's Power Water" was quite strong. The sashimi was good but not exceptional, and the sea urchin was a bit liquefied and lacked flavor. I was disappointed that they didn't have sea urchin with shells. The skewers were a bit too salty. The buttered potatoes were served with salted fish roe on top, a typical Hokkaido way of eating them. The potatoes were fluffy and delicious. The octopus fritters had a crispy coating and tasted like octopus fritters. Overall, it was a decent meal but didn't quite live up to my high expectations. I left feeling full without ordering any rice dishes. Now, I'm heading back to the sauna for a bath before going to sleep. Goodnight!

On this day, I ordered an unsweetened highball before my afternoon unsweetened iced tea, but no matter how many times I asked, I kept receiving roasted green tea highballs by mistake. I finally had to point to the menu items and confirm with the staff, "This unsweetened highball is included in the all-you-can-drink menu, right?" It was definitely listed on the menu and my order history showed unsweetened highball. However, the drinks kept coming as roasted green tea highballs. After multiple attempts, I finally managed to get the unsweetened highball. The mix-up happened again with a different staff member, and I ended up receiving roasted green tea highballs five times before finally getting the unsweetened highball. It was frustrating, but by the sixth time, I was almost looking forward to the next mistake.

Fried food is delicious. Hokkaido ingredients are delicious. The all-you-can-drink menu here has a lot of variety and is very good. Not only seafood, but also yakitori and buttered potatoes were very delicious! The speed at which the food and drinks come out is fast.

Located on the second floor of a prominent building along Route 36 in Susukino. As the name suggests, the specialty here is shrimp dishes. The sweet shrimp dish with 15 pieces costs 1500 yen, and I ended up ordering it three times because it was so good. The crab miso cream cheese for 500 yen pairs really well with it. The crab cheese porridge for 800 yen is also highly recommended.

After leaving the sauna, I decided to stop by a izakaya in Susukino since I was already in the area. I ended up at a restaurant called "Hokkaido Masumae-cho Uosensuisan Susukino-ten". Masumae is known for being the location of the northernmost sake brewery in Japan, "Kunimare Shuzo". I was craving seafood, so I ordered the all-you-can-drink option for ¥1,980 which included sake. The sake I tried were Ginpu Kunimare (¥680), Kunimare Junmai Ginjo (¥1,280), Ooyuki no Kura Kinon Junmai Ginjo (¥699), Today's Japan (Shibata Shuzo -> Chitose Tsuru Sapporo), Kunimare Nigori Sake (¥780), and for my last order, I got the Kantaka Tan's plum wine soda (¥459). The sakes were all crisp and easy to drink. The plum wine soda was a beautiful color and tasted like mint liqueur. As for the food, I ordered a sashimi platter with 7 types of fish for ¥899 (salmon, kanpachi, tuna, octopus head, flounder, sweet shrimp, and mackerel), boiled asparagus for ¥880, lamb sashimi with mountain wasabi for ¥799, Ooduke salt-grilled fish for ¥990, a rare delicacy platter for ¥799 (delicious squid shio-koji, sweet shrimp shio-koji, crab miso), Quattro potato fries for ¥599, and garlic-grilled whelk for ¥599. The meal was satisfying and delicious!

This restaurant specializes in seafood, but their Zangi (fried chicken) is delicious. When two people go, the portion of each dish is small, so with three men on this day, we ended up ordering two Zangi and two potato dishes each, along with fried octopus and fried squid, making it a meal full of fried foods. Thanks to that, we ended up drinking quite a bit of alcohol and got very drunk.

I am quite satisfied with this restaurant. They have multiple locations and offer a good selection of seafood dishes, including delicious sashimi. Their fried dishes are also tasty. I was grateful for a sashimi platter service coupon that I used. They have a wide range of drinks for their all-you-can-drink menu, including interesting options like Yubari melon highball and haskap sour. I tried the Yubari melon highball, which had Yubari melon flavor with Yubari melon jelly inside. I also enjoyed a Seabass Mizunara 12-year soda highball, which is not commonly found in all-you-can-drink menus. The Seabass Mizunara soda highball is easy to drink and recommended for women. I ended up getting drunk because I drank too much of it.

On a regular night, I visited a restaurant with three colleagues at 8:00 pm. We were smoothly guided to a private sunken kotatsu table. We were delighted to find out that there was a drink-all-you-want option available! We started with a toast with draft beer. When it comes to Masumoe on the Japan Sea side, it's all about sweet shrimp! - Sweet shrimp feast: 10 large sweet shrimp beautifully arranged! The dry ice effect is unnecessary... The sweet shrimp, with a deep red color, is sticky and sweet. - Live octopus sashimi: Firm and pure white fresh water octopus. No need for dry ice here either... It's chewy and delicious. - Vegetable platter: Hokkaido vegetables served simply with mayonnaise and sweet miso. It's just delicious. There are plenty of Hokkaido-style dishes, which is great for tourists. It's just a delicious izakaya. Thank you for the meal.

At the beginning of the year, it is a tradition for me to have a New Year's party with my childhood friends. After enjoying Genghis Khan at Chochoten, we head to a tourist-oriented izakaya for the second party. The interior of the restaurant mainly consists of private rooms, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The staff's attentive service is also very pleasant. We started with a toast using "Tory" and ordered the following: Hokkaido Quattro Potato Fry, Crab Miso Tofu Steamed on a Ceramic Plate, Mini Salmon Roe Bowl, Crab Miso, Fresh Sweet Shrimp Platter from the Fishing Port, 2 draft beers, Flow Ice Lemon Sour, Taketsuru Highball, Yoichi Highball, and a variety of other drinks. They mainly source fresh fish and live shellfish from the holy land of bald men, Mombetsu Town, but the prices are a bit high and the quality is not great. The salmon roe bowl was quite stingy with rice, and the crab miso dishes were very average. The sweet shrimp, a specialty of Mombetsu Town, had a strong sweetness and was very delicious! On the second day of my solo trip in Hokkaido, I had made a reservation through Tabelog for this izakaya. I was seated at the counter and ordered some hot sake and king crab. This izakaya specializes in seafood from Masumoe, so there were many Masumoe seafood dishes on the menu. I also ordered botan shrimp, tuna sashimi, and smelt. Everything was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

I made a reservation with a friend from outside the area and went. Grilled fish, sashimi, and potatoes were all delicious. My friend from outside the area was impressed, and as a local, I also found it delicious! We enjoyed the all-you-can-drink option as well. The location of the restaurant is convenient, right in the center of Susukino. The atmosphere was also very nice.

I made a reservation for the snow festival and went. I chose it because travel support and points could be used, but it seemed like the points were not used. I didn't even notice, but the next day, they called and immediately refunded me. They apologized very politely, and I felt more embarrassed. However, as for the food, I was a bit disappointed considering it was in Hokkaido, and it felt a bit expensive for what it was.

I changed the reservation time and received a confirmation call the day before, but on the day of the appointment, I received a message asking, "Are you still not here?" after the original scheduled time had passed. When I ordered my first drink at the restaurant, I waited for 10 minutes but it didn't arrive. When I told the staff, they asked me to order again. After an hour, they announced, "Last call for all-you-can-drink." It was a bit disappointing as the restaurant was recommended by someone from Hokkaido. The taste was average, but I wondered if this was the norm during busy hours. I would like to go back when it's less crowded and enjoy it at a more leisurely pace.

There are many types of alcohol and a wide variety of menu options. The sashimi is excellent. The presentation is colorful and enjoyable to look at. It's a bonus if they have live squid! Of course, the sweet shrimp is undeniably delicious. I have visited many times.
