I visited this seafood bowl restaurant around 9:30 in the morning on a weekday. I had done some research beforehand and chose this place from the many options at Nijo Market. The restaurant has about 10 counter seats and I was able to get in right away as there was only one group of customers before me. I came here to eat a seafood bowl, but being picky, I ordered a simple salmon and salmon roe bowl. It was quite small, but the price was reasonable. You can also add various toppings. Miso soup was included. The bowl had 3 slices of salmon, plenty of salmon roe, and scallops, and the rice portion was just right. I could have added shrimp as well. I was satisfied with the amount and could enjoy more food adventures afterward. I was also happy to receive a mini soft-serve ice cream as a service for posting on Instagram or using a coupon from Tabelog. The staff was very friendly, and I wished I could chat more with them! I definitely want to visit again. I'm very satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

I had a fresh seafood bowl. It was my first time trying sea urchin without any fishy smell! The chef said that a seafood bowl is made with vinegar rice. It seems like it's not called a seafood bowl if it's made with regular white rice. Here, the vinegar rice is used and each piece of sashimi is big. I was surprised by the large scallop sashimi. The chef is a good storyteller.

A seafood bowl restaurant in Nijo Market. It seems to be featured on the cover of guidebooks, as customers kept coming in one after another. The bowl is small, but surprisingly has a good amount of food and the taste was satisfying. The service was quick and friendly, which was great! Many customers were also getting soft serve ice cream to go, so I tried it too. It was just the right sweetness, smooth, and delicious.

After visiting the Sapporo Nijyo Market, I realized that the prices there are about 1.5 times higher than at the Sapporo Nishiki Market. However, I found a shop with reasonable prices where I didn't have to wait in line. I ordered a seafood bowl for around 1700-1800 yen, which also came with miso soup, and it was delicious.

Near Sapporo Station, there is Nijo Market. I went there for breakfast while sightseeing. There are various shops in the market, but they mainly focus on seafood bowls. There were options like fresh oysters that you can eat on the spot, but because it was cold... I wanted to use a GOTO coupon, so I looked for a shop where I could use it and ended up here. It's a small shop with only 6 counter seats, but it seems to be very popular as it has been featured on the cover of a travel guide for two consecutive years and in various tourist media. When I said I wanted to eat sea urchin, salmon, and salmon roe, they accommodated my request by changing the crab in the crab bowl to salmon. The price was the same, but I'm not sure if I got a good deal or not. Haha, miso soup was also included, and it was more than enough for breakfast. The market itself is touristy, so the prices and quality were typical of a tourist spot.

Last night, I drank too much at the all-you-can-drink Genghis Khan main store under the night sky. I must have stopped by on my way home last night. So, the plan was to eat here this morning. It may be a completely different level from the seafood bowls in my neighborhood where I live. You can really tell that "fresh" refers to these fish. Even though my stomach was full from overeating, it went down deliciously. The restaurant is located a couple of traffic lights north from the hotel. It's a very small shop with only 6 counter seats. Luckily, we were able to enter with just 3 people. Everyone seemed to be here for the seafood bowls. I was a bit surprised to see people waiting outside. After looking at the prices of the seafood bowls, I was a bit taken aback. When I ordered A, I also ordered the recommended seafood bowl from Koguma for 3,280 yen, and the seafood bowl B for 1,680 yen. The taste was amazing. It woke me up, that kind of deliciousness. The bluefin tuna had a sweet taste. The snow crab was full of flavor, and the amberjack had a pleasing firmness. I couldn't resist. Satisfied, satisfied. I vowed to try the most expensive sea urchin bowl next time! Thank you for the meal.

Started the day at Nijo Market on the 2nd day! Even though it was a weekday, the famous shops were lined up like crazy, so I randomly walked into one without researching, and it was a big hit ❤️ Seriously delicious and the lady at the shop (Kyoko-san) was so fun to talk to haha. The salmon is apparently from Norway, but the salmon roe and sea urchin are from Hokkaido! The salmon roe is rich and the sea urchin is naturally sweet and melts in your mouth, I just love it. The rice is vinegared rice, and no complaints there. In Aichi, there are many shops that serve white rice, so when I asked if the Hokkaido seafood bowl was vinegared rice, they said yes, really? That's the best, isn't it? I was full from the miso soup, but soon after, I was hungry again, so I could have gone for seconds haha.

(Visit on August 10, 2022) I used a 2,000 yen coupon to have breakfast. Since it came with beer, it was a holiday (paid time off) treat. I was aiming for a different shop at Nijo Market, but when I arrived, there was quite a line. There weren't many foreigners (this was in August), but it seems like domestic travelers are starting to come back. Since there was no line at this shop, I went inside. First, I ordered a beer!! - Canned beer 500 yen There were various rice bowl options that I could have with just the coupon, but after some hesitation, I ordered the following: - Komuma's recommended rice bowl 2,980 yen (includes tuna, salmon, sea urchin, salmon roe, egg, and miso soup) I chose my favorite toppings w, but since there were few toppings, it looked a bit lonely... The vinegar was strong, the freshness was excellent as expected, and the sea urchin had no unpleasant taste at all! For an additional 800 yen, I could have gotten the "Premium Large Assorted 10 Kinds" dish. Since I had a coupon, I thought I should splurge in moments like this! Thank you for the meal (^o^)

I visited this place on a Monday morning. It has about 6 counter seats and 2 tables. Due to my dietary restrictions, I had limited options and chose tuna, salmon, sea urchin, and crab. All of them were fresh and unique to the market. The salmon was particularly delicious with its juicy texture. The atmosphere, including the friendly staff, truly captures the essence of a market.

**Go here!** Target the seafood dishes and bowls unique to the market! Start your day with a luxurious breakfast to inject some energy. Indulge in the prideful seafood bowl made with fresh fish, or the premium menu item of salmon and sea urchin bowl, making it a tough choice. The landlady's special "Shiokoji Pacific herring meal bowl" caught my eye and it was definitely the right choice! It was delicious. It can be difficult to find a good place to eat in the constantly crowded Nijo Market full of tourists, so I recommend this place! **(Pick-up Menu)** The following are highly recommended! Refer to the posted images and comments for more information. ☑ Pacific herring meal bowl (1,380 yen) Shiokoji Pacific herring, salmon, scallop, flying fish roe, egg. Comes with fish broth. **(Closing Remarks)** There are famous restaurants with long lines around, but this place is a hidden gem. The taste and service are top-notch, so I highly recommend it!

A year ago, I asked for recommendations on where to buy fish and was referred to a shop. They told me that if I mentioned their shop's name, I would get a freebie. When I did, I received a free ice cream. It was delicious! I also wanted to eat shrimp, so I asked for some. It was a bit embarrassing to eat outside, but it turned out to be a fun experience as it attracted more customers.

A small seafood bowl restaurant with about 5 counter seats. The old man is quiet but makes delicious food. The guy outside provides information on current catches and when things are in season, which I am grateful for. The serving staff, a nice lady, has a lovely smile and a good vibe. I enjoyed the meal very much. I will come back again. Thank you very much.

Located in Nijo Market, this seafood bowl restaurant is popular among locals. Despite having limited seating, the prices are the highlight - unbelievably cheap for such delicious food! Rainbow Oguma Donburi: 990 yen On this day, after working until morning, I went to Nijo Market to find a place for breakfast. I checked their Tabelog page and found out they have shortened their hours due to the pandemic. They are open from 11:00 to 13:30. They also offer delivery and takeout. I've been curious about this place for a while, so I was happy to finally make it. There are about 6 counter seats with partitions between them. There are also tables outside. The prices are lower compared to other places, which is very reasonable. They offer various bowls like staff meal bowls, bara chirashi, and seafood bowls, all served with miso soup. The Seven-color Oguma Donburi includes tuna, salmon, sweet shrimp, cured mackerel, egg, and tobiko. You can change tobiko to salmon roe for an additional 200 yen. The vinegared rice is slightly sweet and has a good texture. The bowl may be small, but it's quite filling. The freshness of the ingredients is impressive. If you show that you saw them on social media and are from Sapporo, you can get a free soft-serve ice cream, but unfortunately, the machine wasn't ready this time. Maybe next time. I'll try to come back at the right time! Thank you for the meal.

Exploring Nijo Market. The atmosphere was livelier than I expected, with fishermen greeting me cheerfully. Feeling tired from walking, I decided to enter this small shop at the edge of the market. The shop was a bit cramped, with no place to hang coats or bags, so I hung mine on a chair. The staff, including the friendly waitress and the chef, were welcoming and engaged in conversation, asking where I was from. They kindly explained about the fish, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The seafood bowl was visually stunning and delicious, especially the salmon which was perfectly fatty. The price, including miso soup, was slightly cheaper compared to other seafood bowl restaurants in the area. As a bonus, they offered me herring and shad roe as a gift, making me almost order a beer even though I had finished the seafood bowl. I was also tempted by the Yubari melon soft serve ice cream, but since it was raining and I was feeling a bit cold, I decided to save it for next time!

Welcome. ---------- December 2020 ---------- A seafood bowl restaurant located along the Sojo River in the Nijo Market area. The cozy interior has an L-shaped counter with 4 seats and a terrace with 2 seats. The friendly master and energetic older lady were there. They offer a variety of seafood bowl options, from affordable prices to luxurious and rare bowls. When Tom ordered the "Seven-color Oguma Bowl," the master suggested changing the flying fish roe to salmon roe, but Tom preferred the flying fish roe, so he apologized. When asked if he wanted to add sea urchin from Shakotan, Tom declined as he's not a big fan of sea urchin. The bowl included bluefin tuna, salmon, cured mackerel, flying fish roe, scallops, sweet shrimp, and egg. The slightly chilled vinegared rice was a favorite. As a bonus, they received "Marinated Amberjack," which had a moist texture and a soy sauce flavor that made you crave a drink. The seasonal miso soup with amberjack had a light broth that was easy to drink. Despite being crowded since before noon, the service was honest and they even received a delicious "Yubari Melon & Vanilla" soft-serve ice cream. Delicious!

I visited Sapporo and got hungry, so I headed to Nijo Market for lunch. Right after Sapporo was excluded from the Go To campaign, the shops were empty, but the inviting lady at the entrance of Koguma Shouten was so nice that I decided to go in. They were willing to change the sushi to something else that I preferred, and if you like their Instagram page, you get a free mini soft serve ice cream. The cost performance was great, the hot pot warmed both my body and soul, and the rice bowl was very delicious. It must be tough during the pandemic, but it's a shop that makes you want to support them! Thank you for the meal.

I made it just in time for the last order at 2:30 for lunch. I had the scattered rose bowl. Honestly, the portion was small for the price. The taste was delicious though. They apologized for the rice being low due to it being the last order. I didn't feel bad about it. Instead, I received a complimentary ice cream. Thank you for the meal.

I finished work early on Saturday, had lunch, and then decided to explore around the Nijo Market. Although my stomach was somewhat satisfied, as a woman, I had a craving for something sweet. I found a place called "Koguma Shoten" along the Ishikari Highway, known for their seafood bowls. However, they also sold soft serve ice cream. The shop was small with only a counter, and there were a few customers inside. I mustered up the courage to order a soft serve ice cream to go, choosing the Yubari melon flavor. The ice cream was served in a cone, and I went across the road to enjoy it at Sosei River Park. The melon flavor was subtle with a natural sweetness and a creamy texture that melted easily. It was my first time noticing that they sold soft serve ice cream, even though I often passed by the shop. I also checked out their seafood menu, which seemed reasonably priced compared to other touristy places. If I have the chance, I would love to try their seafood bowl next time. Thank you for the delicious treat!
