I watched Job Chune on TV and went to Gyoza no Ohsho. The person in charge of product development received unanimous approval from top chefs and was in tears. It made me curious about how much passion was put into the ramen. So, I visited with high expectations. I ordered the Ohsho Ramen and gyoza, but the ramen was cheap and smaller than usual. The gyoza was tasty, but nothing extraordinary. Maybe I set my expectations too high because of the TV show. Thank you for the meal.

Gyoza no Osho on Tanuki Koji Street. When it comes to Osho, there is Osaka Osho and Gyoza no Osho, but I definitely prefer Gyoza no Osho. I'm glad it's in Sapporo. Today, I'm having the char siu ramen, but there are also set menus that include gyoza and fried rice that always tempt me.

During this time of year, this season, there is always this item on the fair menu. Even in the height of summer, I don't mind eating hot ankake, you know (*^^)v After all, I am the secretary of the Ankake Division of the Sapporo Branch (not very active though)♪♬ But really, in this world of food, is there anything that isn't delicious when topped with a savory sauce? I don't think so?!?! "Gomoku Ankake Ramen + Fair Set B" Bam!ჱ̒ ー̀֊ー́ ) I didn't have a great experience with this menu before, but when it's cold, I start to crave hot ankake♡ The almost fully ankake soup with a hint of ginger warms up the body nicely♪♬♩︎ The medium-thin straight noodles have a crisp and satisfying texture, maybe because they finish them off without getting soggy! The generous toppings are also on point (*^^)v And then, the Fair Set B!!! Need I say more, I'll enjoy it with some rice♡ I'm full and satisfied, thank you for the delicious meal ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

It's been a while, Gyoza no Ohsho on Tanuki Koji Street! Probably more than 8 years since I last came here... After work, on my way back from running errands, and since I have tomorrow off, I decided to stop by! I really wanted a beer, but I resisted the temptation... I ordered the fried rice set with fried rice (extra large portion)! It arrived in about 10 minutes! However, I was seated near the entrance at the counter, so it was quite cold... I managed somehow because I was wearing thick inner layers. The fried rice set, of course, it's Gyoza no Ohsho, so it comes with gyoza! The gyoza is always reliable! I added some spicy chili oil... not too spicy, but delicious. The zangi (fried chicken) was tasty! Sprinkling some salt on it made it even better! I think it would have been delicious even without the salt. Now, for the main dish, the fried rice (extra large portion)... it was delicious! It was a bit lightly seasoned for my taste as I prefer stronger flavors, but it was still tasty. The extra large portion had a satisfying amount! However, it was a bit cold sitting at the counter... I'll head home, take a bath, have a drink, and then go to bed! Good night.

I got hooked on dumplings and decided to finish off at Osho. The cheap dumplings were really delicious as always! They had a limited-time special menu like "Chiki Chiki Bone" so I ordered that. Personally, I prefer the crispy fried chicken. It was so moist and tasty! I ordered more dumplings, but some of them were a bit burnt. I guess there are hits and misses. Anyway, Osho is really good value for money. I ended up drinking too much lemon sour. I'll definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal!

- Dish: Chicken and Mushroom Ankake Yakisoba + Fair Set B for ¥990
Last year's November fair menu. Speaking of which, it was timely that I saw Gyoza no Ohsho on TV last night. There was a show where a somewhat arrogant chef judged the dishes. Even with the same menu, it can taste different depending on who makes it, so I guess it's not the same nationwide...
The "Chicken and Mushroom Ankake Yakisoba + Fair Set B" dish! The ingredients were cut into large pieces and the colors were nice. The noodles had a nice charred flavor, and the way they mixed with the sauce was excellent. I thought it could use a bit more mushroom flavor, but the satisfying amount of ingredients increased the overall satisfaction. And then, the Fair Set B! The usual pattern of mixing the white rice in. It's also nice that it comes with soup, a good point of this menu. Yes, I'm satisfied! Thank you for the meal.

On September 24, 2022, I visited the Gyoza no Ohsho Tanukikoji 5-chome store and ordered the Twice Cooked Pork for 550 yen, Gyoza Just Size for 154 yen, and Medium Rice for 187 yen. I searched for nostalgic restaurants to visit during my trip to Kanto in October. I found out that Ezomatsu in Iidabashi had closed on December 30, 2021, which made me crave their famous Twice Cooked Pork. That's when I thought of this place. I used to frequent Ezomatsu and the taste of their Twice Cooked Pork is still ingrained in my mind, so I wanted to experience that feeling again by trying different places. I ordered the "Twice Cooked Pork & Gyoza Just Size & Medium Rice" combo. First, I ordered the Twice Cooked Pork but it came after the Gyoza, so I decided to enjoy the Gyoza and Rice first. This time, I adjusted the sauce with soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil in a 1:1:1 ratio and dipped the Gyoza in it before taking a bite with rice. Just as I was about to start on the second Gyoza, the Twice Cooked Pork arrived. It was swimming in oil and incredibly sweet and rich in flavor, like pork and cabbage soaked in oil... It was a far cry from Ezomatsu's Twice Cooked Pork. I felt like crying because it was so different, and I couldn't help but think of the lyrics from Masayoshi Yamazaki's song "One more time, One more chance."

Today's lunch was at my favorite "Gyoza no Ohsho" again! I ordered the following:
- Stir-fried leek and liver (Just size) for 332 yen
- Mapo tofu (Just size) for 304 yen
- Rice (Big size) for 242 yen
- Egg soup for 110 yen
I decided to try the leek and liver dish today, which my grandpa highly recommends. I've been coming to "Gyoza no Ohsho" for decades and have been here hundreds of times, but this is the first time I've ordered the leek and liver dish. It's not that I don't like it - in fact, I love it! The reason I never ordered it before is because the leek and liver dish I make at home is the best in the world. "Gyoza no Ohsho's" leek and liver dish may be second best in the world, but it was still delicious!

On 21st August 2022, I went to the Gyoza no Ohsho restaurant at the Tanukikoji 5-chome branch. I had the large serving of Hiya Chuka for ¥858. I think they will stop serving it at the end of August, so I had to go before that happens. The Hiya Chuka had a refreshing lemon-flavored original sauce from Ohsho, and the chilled thin straight noodles were really delicious. I enjoyed adding some chili oil from the table halfway through to adjust the taste. I love the extra serving of noodles, it disappears so quickly because it's so good! I wish they would offer it all year round. Thank you for the meal!

- Restaurant: Gyoza no Ohsho Tanukikoji 5-chome branch
- Dish: Warm Egg Chinese Curry Ramen + Fair Set B ¥990
Even though I had a hearty breakfast in the morning, I suddenly got really hungry!!! So, I headed to this place in Tanukikoji 5-chome. I ordered the Warm Egg Chinese Curry Ramen with Fair Set B (3 gyoza + small rice).
"Warm Egg Chinese Curry Ramen + Fair Set B" Bam! The curry ramen is something I'm quite picky about. Let's see how it tastes. Oh, this looks pretty good (*^^)v The soup has elements of Chinese noodles and the spicy curry flavor blends in nicely. The thin noodles are smooth to slurp, and there's plenty of vegetables on top, making it feel healthy too (・∇・) And when you crush the warm egg and mix it with the noodles, the spiciness mellows out a bit, and it gives a feeling of eating a mashed-up regional curry, which I don't mind (*^^)v
And then, the Fair Set B! After devouring the gyoza, I finished off the ramen's ingredients soaked in curry soup. The taste and portion were quite satisfying. This might be worth coming back for regularly (゚ー゚)ウ (。_。)ン
Thank you for the meal (´▽` )ノ

One day on a Sunday in August 2022, a friend came to my house with a matter to discuss. In the evening, they mentioned wanting to eat Chinese rice bowl, so we headed to a longstanding Chinese restaurant near Tanukikoji, only to find a long line. Despite my friend's willingness to wait, I insisted on going to the nearby "Gyoza no Osho" on the left. We entered and got a table right away. I ordered a beer, while my friend said they would drink at home. First, I relaxed my throat and tiredness with a beer! My friend chose the "Premium Tianjin Rice Set" from the set menu, opting for Chinese rice bowl next time (succumbing to the allure of the set menu). I ordered the "Karaage Set" with less rice. To my surprise, my Karaage Set came with a serving of gyoza. It also came with kimchi and soup. The soup was delicious. As I had been drinking beer, I couldn't finish my meal, but my petite friend ate everything up. I shared some gyoza and karaage with them. Next time, I'll try eating without beer. My friend finished their meal, and I managed to finish mine too. It was satisfying to eat affordable Chinese food at a restaurant where families gathered around the table to eat. Thank you for the meal!

Gyoza no Ohsho, Tanukikoji 5-chome branch, on July 16, 2022. Spicy Ramen + Fair Set B for 1070 yen. It's a bit late to be sharing the July fair menu now... I'm really falling short as a ramen blogger. But oh well... I've been quite busy lately. This dish was really delicious though. The "Spicy Ramen + Fair Set B" was a combination of vegetable-rich tantanmen and Taiwanese ramen. It had a unique aroma of spicy spices, maybe peppermint? Anyway, it looked quite appetizing. Let's dig in. The spicy miso-based soup had a nice balance of saltiness and a numbing sensation afterwards. The noodles were slightly thinner and less hydrated compared to the usual ones at Ohsho, but they paired well with the soup and had a good chewy texture. The generous amount of bean sprouts, garlic chives, and ground meat added a Taiwanese ramen touch to the dish. And then... the Fair Set B!!! Needless to say, it was a one-bowl victory. You can also try eating the ramen toppings separately, which is also delicious. Among the recent fair menus, this one was definitely to my liking. It made me break a little sweat, and it was a delicious meal. Thank you for the meal. (Source: http://mrbin1203.com/?p=34357)

On June 29, 2022, I visited the Gyoza no Ohsho restaurant in Tanukikoji 5-chome and had the Yakisoba (soy sauce) for ¥528. It was hot and I was hungry, so I decided to go for a quick meal in between work. However, they told me that they had sold out of chilled noodles because of the heat. I was a bit disappointed that they weren't prepared for the hot weather. So, I opted for the Yakisoba (soy sauce) instead. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the soy sauce flavor of the Yakisoba at Gyoza no Ohsho. The combination of crispy vegetables, tender pork, and flat noodles was delicious. I almost ordered rice, but as a middle-aged person, I had to consider my daily intake of carbs and salt. I really wanted chilled noodles though.

Today's lunch was at my favorite "Gyoza no Ohsho"♡ I couldn't decide what to eat because everything looked so good, so I chose from the "Just Size Menu" which is small but great value! I picked:
- Mapo Tofu (Just Size) for 321 yen
- Crab Omelette with Salt Sauce (Just Size) for 304 yen
- Rice (Big Size) for 242 yen
- Egg Soup for 110 yen
My top picks at "Gyoza no Ohsho" that go perfectly with rice are Mapo Tofu and Crab Omelette with Salt Sauce. They are so delicious! I love you, "Gyoza no Ohsho"♡

- Dish: Seafood Ankake Yakisoba
- Price: ¥750
The limited edition dishes at Handaya are great, but you shouldn't miss out on the limited-time menu here. This month's fair menu is a must-try! As the Ankake Department secretary, I couldn't skip the Seafood Ankake Yakisoba. The noodles have a nice firm texture with a good amount of char, and the aroma is all about the seafood. Let's dig in. The noodles have a slightly flat shape with a crispy, charred flavor, and they are coated in a sauce made with shrimp, scallops, and a unique seasoning. It's delicious! However, for some reason, it reminds me of Shu-chan's sauce yakisoba flavor. Well, both use seafood, so maybe that's why they're similar? It doesn't matter though, because it was tasty. Thank you for the meal!

On 2022/05/26, I went to the Gyoza no Ohsho restaurant in Tanukikoji 5-chome and had their Cold Chinese noodles and Just Size Fried Rice for ¥1037. I just had a craving for it and it's not widely available elsewhere yet. I ordered the Cold Chinese noodles and Just Size Fried Rice. The portion was just right for me, as I had a good breakfast. The Cold Chinese noodles were delicious with the lemon-flavored sauce coating the cold, thin noodles perfectly. The dish was filled with plenty of ingredients, giving it a satisfying taste. I like to add some table chili oil halfway through eating. Then, onto the Just Size Fried Rice! As always, the fried rice at Gyoza no Ohsho never disappoints. I finished it all and was completely satisfied. Thank you for the delicious meal! Full review: http://mrbin1203.com/?p=33556

◉2022/05/20/FRI #112 ★Gyoza no Osho Tanukikoji 5-chome Branch @Choose Your Noodle Lunch C/Spicy Tama Ramen ¥748
I always crave for cold Chinese noodles all year round. I wonder if there are any restaurants in Sapporo that offer that. In the midst of that, this place has been serving cold noodles for a while now (^-^)v... Oh wait, didn't they tell me last time that it ended last month? Oh well, I'll have to settle for the Choose Your Noodle Lunch C with Spicy Tama Ramen.
...And, as I casually looked at the menu again, I noticed that cold noodles are actually listed in the regular menu section (T^T) I'm sorry.
"Choose Your Noodle Lunch C/Spicy Tama Ramen" it is! ( ^罒^ )v
I forgot how spicy this was ( ̄▽ ̄;) I ordered it without really thinking, but I remember now that this one requires a lot of sweating. The spicy soup has a five-spice flavor that you can feel♪♩♬ The noodles are medium-thin with low water content, perfect for soaking up the soup♡ The crunchy texture of Chinese cabbage and leeks, along with the mildness of scrambled eggs, help to balance out the spiciness, so even if you're not a fan of spicy food, you might surprisingly enjoy this bowl.
And, the perfectly-sized fried rice that comes with the lunch! It's just so delicious♡...I'm saying this, but as someone who is sensitive to spiciness and spice flavors, I ended up sweating profusely on my face despite saying it's not too spicy ( ´;゚;∀;゚;)
Next time, I'll aim for the cold noodles again when I come back! Thank you for the meal (*˘╰╯˘)ゞ

On May 7, 2022, I visited the Gyoza no Ohsho restaurant in Tanuki Koji 5-chome and ordered the Ramen Set A for 977 yen. I was craving the cold noodles that I had at the Susukino branch a while back. Unfortunately, they had stopped serving it last month, so I decided to go with the Ramen Set A instead, choosing the soy sauce ramen. The ramen, gyoza, and fried rice in the set were all delicious. The soup had a savory flavor with the added sweetness of fried garlic, and the noodles had a nice texture. The fried rice was flavorful and not too oily. I enjoyed the meal and left feeling satisfied.

On April 9, 2022, I visited the Gyoza no Ohsho Tanukikoji 5-chome branch and ordered the mixed vegetables and soy sauce ramen combo for ¥1278. The limited menu for April was not noodle-based this time, which was a nice change. As a fan of dishes with thick sauce, I was excited to try the fish-based sauce. I thought the soy sauce ramen and the April fair menu item, mixed vegetables, would complement each other well. The dishes arrived promptly after a short wait. Both dishes were in regular size portions, so they were quite filling. The soy sauce ramen had a simple yet delicious broth with a nice blend of bonito flavor and gentle soy sauce. The slightly firm noodles typical of the Kansai region paired perfectly with the soup. The tender chashu pork added a rich flavor to the dish. The mixed vegetables had a tasty sauce with a combination of bonito umami and sweet vegetables. I couldn't resist trying something I had in mind – adding the mixed vegetables to the soy sauce ramen to create a delectable ankake ramen. It turned out to be a fantastic combination without losing any of the original flavors. The two quail eggs on top and the crunchy vegetable ankake made sure the dish stayed hot until the last bite. However, combining the two dishes made the total cost go over ¥1200, so whether it's worth it or not is up to you. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

- Restaurant: Gyoza no Ohsho Tanukikoji 5-chome branch
- Dish: Five Ingredient Ankake Ramen + Fair Set B for ¥950
The same menu as last year at this time. I don't really have any good memories of it, but it's a seasonal limited edition, so I have to try it. It was lunchtime, but the restaurant was full. Well, not really. With only three people running this spacious restaurant, the cleanliness was not well maintained after customers left, which led to a cycle of not being able to take orders promptly and taking a long time to serve.
I ordered the Five Ingredient Ankake Ramen Fair Set B. The unique ankake ramen with a sprinkle of grated ginger on top! Despite its appearance, the taste is excellent. The hot soup with almost full ankake warms you up from the inside when you mix in the ginger. The slightly soft noodles are well-coated in the soup, and the generous amount of ingredients in the five-ingredient ramen provides a satisfying meal.
The Fair Set B includes gyoza, which is a must-eat with a splash of vinegar and pepper, along with a bite of rice. Lastly, I finish with the quail egg. Despite the long wait, the delicious food makes it all worth it. Thank you for the meal.
