A cozy café located in a residential area in Asahikawa City, Nagayama. A friendly mom runs the place by herself. I visited on a Saturday at a little past 10 in the morning. I looked through the menu, thinking of getting a drink or trying something from the food menu for brunch. They had options like pilaf, fried rice, curry, and hamburger, typical café meals. I decided to order the "Napolitan spaghetti" (780 yen) and a "blend coffee" (500 yen). The sound of sizzling from the kitchen filled the air. In about 10 minutes, my order was ready. The Napolitan spaghetti was served on a hot plate, topped with grated cheese and Tabasco, with a thin omelet underneath. It had mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and more. The portion was quite generous. The taste of the ketchup-flavored Napolitan brought back nostalgic memories. The café has been open for 35 years. They still serve the Napolitan on a hot plate with a thin omelet, a style they've maintained for 35 years. Despite the rising cost of eggs, they want to continue with this style because they want customers to enjoy their spaghetti piping hot. The blend coffee was brewed using a hand drip method, with a slightly tangy and aromatic flavor. The café sign says "café & snack," but currently, they only operate as a café. With trendy cafes popping up everywhere, these old-fashioned cafés seem to be disappearing. I hope this café continues to thrive for a long time!

I tried the curry! It was definitely delicious (^-^*) When I took a bite, I felt the sweetness at first, but then the spices kicked in, creating a addictive combination of sweetness and spiciness in my mouth (^o^)/ Personally, it reminded me of the curry from "Hachi no Ie" in Nagasaki, and it was really good! I wish it would become more popular, but it has more of a hidden gem vibe in a back alley, so I don't think it's well-known.
