This hotel is located in the arcade of Tanuki Koji 6-chome. I stayed here last month, so it's easy to remember. Compared to the usual budget business hotels I stay at, even with the "discount plan," this hotel is a bit more expensive, making it difficult for me to stay frequently. However, after staying here last month and experiencing the excitement of this hotel once again, I decided to come back this month. I found a slightly cheaper day in May, so I booked one day, but the following days were at least 5000 yen, which I assume is due to the summer season pricing. The breakfast buffet lineup was the same as last time. The soup curry I tried this time was delicious. The seafood bowl was nice, but many other hotels offer it, so I was most pleased with the scallop grilled dish. I didn't see the free alcohol can service this time, so I thought maybe it had ended. But when I looked at the information board again, I realized I had to go to the Premium building across the street to get it. I only received a paper pack of tea last time, so I think I'll be fine with getting it only when I feel like it in the future. There is a oolong tea server in the lobby of the Annex building where I stay, so that's enough for me. I made sure to get the ice candy and lactic acid drink for after the bath. I remember that during a previous summer visit, the breakfast buffet fruit was Yubari melon. I would love to come back during that time, but I know it's a busier period than now, and the original accommodation cost will be higher. It may be a while before I can come back, but I definitely want to stay here again. Thank you for taking care of me.

I stayed at the Annex of Dormy Inn, but breakfast was served in the main building so I had to walk in my hotel robe to the main building. I had already paid 2300 yen for breakfast at the front desk the day before, so I just had to give my room number to enter the dining area. It was 6 am and there were about 20 people already there. Everyone seemed lively in the morning. I was also excited. The main attraction was of course the seafood. They had options for sashimi set meals or seafood bowls. You could choose between white rice and vinegared rice. They also had grilled turban shells and scallops to enhance the Hokkaido feel. I remembered how delicious the turban shells I had in Kushiro were. I picked what I wanted to eat while reminiscing and sat down. For the first round, I had a seafood bowl that was basically an ikura (salmon roe) bowl. It was delicious. A luxurious breakfast in the morning. The turban shells had a lot of broth so I had to be careful not to spill any. For the second round, I had a sashimi set meal. The same ingredients but a different atmosphere, it was enjoyable. I finished by drinking Katsuobushi (bonito flakes) soup, a unique Hokkaido experience for breakfast.

I travel all over the country for business, but my favorite is Dormy Inn. They have a large communal bath, a breakfast buffet with local dishes, which is paradise for big eaters like me. You can also have "night-time soba" for dinner. I have stayed at this Dormy Inn in Tanukikoji many times, and there was a time during the pandemic when the seafood dishes were reduced to small portions. I was really disappointed then, but now you can make your own seafood bowl with all-you-can-eat seafood. On this day, there was salmon, salmon roe, tuna and green onion, scallops, and enoki mushrooms. Enoki mushrooms may be rare. There are also other dishes like grilled scallops and soup curry, so you can truly enjoy Hokkaido cuisine. A satisfying and filling breakfast!

Staying for work in Sapporo. It's been a year since the last time... Couldn't go at all due to Corona... and even when I went, it was just a day trip. So, staying in a hotel is also a rare occasion. The shooting started in Tanuki-koji in the morning and finished at... 8 pm. And then... it's like midnight!! Most of the shops were closed and there were hardly any people. Everyone seems to be closed due to the request for closure... But a few places were open as usual. They seemed like places where young people would go. Checked in with a growling stomach, but there was no rush. Anyway, there's nowhere else to go. So, I decided to take a dip in the hot spring that comes with the hotel. But... before that, I checked the room. First... I won't look behind the paintings, haha. The washbasin at the entrance is so small that you can wash your face in 0.1 seconds when you open the door, haha. And it's not as cramped as I thought. It's quite clean and decent for a business hotel. There's even a door separating the bed. The shower only is rare, and it's a sliding door. It's nice to have a sliding door in such a small space. When you open it, there's a toilet and a shower room. No bathtub. Well, there's a hot spring in the hotel... So I decided to go and take a bath... I felt all the tiredness melt away... not really, but it was great to stretch my legs and warm up. And when I came out... I found Yakult-like drinks as a service. Also, you can eat ice candy for free. And there's also an ice pack... It's like being pampered. In the elevator, I found out that you can make ramen by showing your room key. They give you a number tag and say they'll call you when it's ready... But as soon as I tried to sit down, they called out the number tag. Do they even have a tag?? It was so fast. And the ramen I received was like this. Oh, my stomach was so empty, so I was grateful. I usually don't put much pepper on my ramen. It changes the taste. But I thought this one would be a bit bland, and it was black pepper, so I decided to put some in. The toppings were bamboo shoots, green onions, and seaweed. There wasn't any char siu, haha. This feeling is familiar!! The amount of noodles is about half a portion. It's like a service for those who are a bit hungry. And the soup is made from both chicken and pork broth. The soy sauce flavor is like using a lot of scientific power, it tastes like the liquid soup from instant noodles sold at supermarkets. But for me, who was hungry, it was really satisfying. After waiting for 1 minute, it took 1 minute to eat. Finished in 2 minutes, haha. I couldn't finish it. I wanted to drink it all, but... I couldn't, haha. A half portion doesn't fill you up, haha. It seems that guests can eat for free from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. It's a special privilege for guests. However, for those who check in after the time, they can have an original cup noodle to be eaten until 1:00 a.m. Just a thought... in the end, you can get an original cup noodle to eat until 1:00 a.m., haha.

Located in Sapporo, Hokkaido, this hotel is just 4 minutes from the Sapporo Streetcar Tanukikoji Station/ Shiseikan Elementary School Station. It is also about a 10-minute walk from Sapporo Municipal Subway Odori Station/Susukino Station. If you walk underground from JR Sapporo Station, you will be protected from the heavy snow. The hotel is located opposite to Dormy Inn Premium, and guests can use the hot springs at either hotel. The hot springs are located on the first floor for men and the second floor for women. The breakfast features seafood bowls and soup curry. Although it is close to Susukino, it is not actually in Susukino, which may provide a sense of comfort.

This is a review of the Dormy Inn located on Tanukikoji Street. The Dormy Inn Annex is situated on both sides of the arcade street on Tanukikoji. The room is a bit small compared to Otaru, but it is clean and well-maintained. The hotel also has hot springs and a sauna. They offer free Night Noodle at the Premium building from 9:30 pm to 11:00 pm, and the staff prepare it with great care. The staff at Dormy Inn, as I noticed in Otaru as well, are all very friendly. Now, about the ramen. It's a soy sauce ramen with a simple soup, but the flavor of the seaweed topping is excellent. The noodles are cooked just right, with a slightly chewy texture. The bamboo shoots are quite firm. Overall, it was a good meal. I didn't have breakfast here as I had seafood donburi in Otaru earlier.

I used the morning buffet during my stay in October 2019. The location is about a 5-minute walk from Susukino Station. The hotel also has a hot spring and offers free night soba noodles. The guest room was comfortable. The best part was the morning buffet, which featured various Hokkaido specialties. The self-made seafood bowl with plenty of salmon roe was excellent. The drink selection was great, and the desserts were delicious. It was a great opportunity to enjoy Hokkaido's local cuisine. The morning buffets at hotels in Sapporo are all high quality, but I highly recommend this one.

It is located in the Tanukikoji Shopping Street. The ANNEX building and PREMIUM building face each other, and this time we chose the ANNEX building. Although I did not explore the other building, the dining area is shared with the PREMIUM building. The room is small but has a unique layout with a space resembling an entrance at the front, a sink on the left, and a closet on the right. Despite its small size, the design is efficient and the work desk is user-friendly with easy access to power outlets. Each room also provides various mobile phone charging cables to reduce the risk of forgetting one's own. The hotel offers a large communal bath with laundry services available for free, including washing machines with no need for detergent. The drying machine costs 100 yen for 20 minutes, which is quite reasonable compared to other coin laundries. The hotel also provides free cups and ice next to the vending machines on each floor, along with a microwave for convenience. The breakfast buffet offers a popular seafood donburi where guests can choose to assemble their own or opt for pre-set mini seafood bowls in bamboo containers. The side dishes are served in small plates, allowing guests to select what they want easily. The hotel's attention to detail in serving food efficiently is commendable, with a focus on minimizing waste and providing a satisfying dining experience. The quality and presentation of the food were exceptional, making this hotel stand out among the three I stayed at during my trip. Additionally, the hotel serves complimentary night soba from 9:30 pm to 11 pm, which was a perfect late-night snack after a day of eating. The hotel also offers a taxi service to Sapporo Station after check-out, which is a convenient option for guests with luggage. Overall, the hotel's thoughtful services and amenities make it a highly recommended choice for travelers.

I'm on vacation starting today, so I had a luxurious breakfast this morning (lol). I strolled around Tanukikoji and ended up at Dormy Inn, which was really crowded (lol). Even non-guests can have breakfast here, so I signed up at the front desk and headed to the restaurant. The vegetables, side dishes, seafood, and sweets were all shining brightly. I couldn't help but smile (lol). The seafood bowl and miso soup were so fresh, and the salad was amazing on the first round. It felt like eating in a port town! The rice was delicious and I was impressed. On the second round, it felt like I was on a trip to Italy (lol). And on the third round, it was like a gourmet journey around Japan and the world. It was like a culinary journey around the world for breakfast. It was a feast! Thank you for the meal. My stomach and heart are both satisfied. It was the perfect start to a great holiday.

On Sunday night, I said goodbye to the young man who had just started living alone and stayed at this hotel with my wife. The reason we chose it was because the breakfast had good reviews. We relaxed in the large communal bath and went to bed early, looking forward to breakfast. Breakfast was at the Premium building across the street on the 1st floor. It started at 6:00, but I arrived a little after 6:00 to avoid waiting. There were already quite a few customers there. Wow. I secured a spot and then started my meal. There weren't many Chinese dishes, but there was a good selection of seafood and Western-style dishes. There were also many small dishes to choose from, which made the selection enjoyable. The self-serve seafood bowl corner had unlimited amounts of salmon roe, raw salmon, crab meat, salmon flakes, okra and grated yam. I filled my bowl with those without rice. In addition to miso soup, there were also meatball soup and soup curry. The hotel breakfast was very fulfilling. In terms of luxury, I think the Century Royal Hotel I visited last summer was better, but in terms of content, it's hard to say which is better. It seems like there is healthy competition between hotels. I definitely want to go back again.

After a night of heavy drinking and a good night's sleep, I woke up refreshed and took a refreshing shower before heading to breakfast! The breakfast was served at the restaurant "Kitano Daidokoro" on the first floor of the PREMIUM building (just across the Tanuki Koji street). The restaurant offers a buffet with a variety of local ingredients, both Japanese and Western dishes. Even though I'm on a diet, I chose a generous selection for my breakfast. I enjoyed a seafood bowl with salmon, boiled shrimp, ikura, and snow crab on top. It was delicious! For dessert, I had milk, fruits, and pudding. The breakfast was quite nice, but the price of 2,000 yen (including tax) is a bit high. Overall, it was a satisfying meal and I felt happy!

This time, I stayed at a hotel that I have used in other areas before! [Exterior] Ta-da! It looks like this... Access is... Get off at Odori Station on the Namboku Line of JR Sapporo Station... Go up the stairs in the direction of travel and proceed straight to the Pole Town underground shopping street... It's a 3-minute walk from the Tanukikoji 4-chome exit to Tanukikoji 6-chome! [Front desk] Ta-da! It looks like this... Check-in was quick and easy! [Room interior] Ta-da! It looks like this... Well, it's just for sleeping, so a business hotel is sufficient! (laughs) *I use it a lot though... haha Now then... shall we head to dinner? After having a hearty drink at another place, I returned to this hotel for this trip! [Midnight soba] Ta-da! It looks like this... They offer "midnight soba" for free every day from 21:30 to 23:00 - it's great to be able to enjoy free noodles to finish off the night... Slurping down the soy sauce ramen in the middle of the night is so satisfying... Of course, there's nothing special about it but... I enjoyed the free soy sauce ramen. I had a delicious meal and felt happy on this day!
