All-you-can-eat... All-you-can-drink... I don't particularly dislike them... but! I don't have many opportunities to use them in my daily life, so I often just eat the amount of food I want. A long time ago, the first time I experienced all-you-can-eat yakiniku was at a place called OK Ranch or KO Ranch... I think that was the name of the place... but I still vividly remember the impact of that experience. Since then, I have tried various similar places, but this time, I decided to check out this King restaurant due to a request. The system was explained by the cute and young female staff in the store, and I observed the situation while leaving the touch panel to the younger generation. About 80% of the seats in the store were occupied, showing that it is quite popular. I think I ordered the King Course for 2980 yen. I tried a little bit of everything that I thought I could eat! The sauces were all flavorful, but the meat... well, it lacked much flavor and was mostly dry. Nevertheless, I was able to fulfill the request and had a valuable and enjoyable time experiencing the evolution of the times and distribution. If I had about 5 teenage to college-age boys who were into sports, I might consider going once a week. Bon appétit!

I decided to try a basic all-you-can-eat buffet after receiving a mysterious invitation saying it was better than the usual places. During the meal, I noticed they had fried chicken, so I ordered some. However, it turned out to be extremely tough, which seemed strange to me. When I asked the waiter about it, they said it was normal. I've never encountered such tough fried chicken before! Maybe it's just my lack of experience? The meat also seemed like the dry, imported kind that you might expect from a certain well-known chain, but the sauce helped mask the dryness a bit. It felt like they were saying, "This might not be for everyone."

I visited this restaurant for the first time with a friend. We originally planned to go to a different nearby restaurant, but it was closed so we ended up here. It was quite crowded. I didn't have a good impression of all-you-can-eat yakiniku, but that changed quickly. You order using a touch panel and the food comes out quickly. The quality of the meat was much better than typical all-you-can-eat places. You can order a variety of items in small portions, which is nice. However, in terms of cost performance, if I'm paying this much, I might as well go to a regular yakiniku restaurant. I didn't feel like it was a great deal in terms of value for the price.

They have a Lychee Time on Saturdays, so I got the all-you-can-eat yakiniku and drink set for 2,138 yen including tax. I mainly eat vegetables (lol). I had delicious salted cabbage (a bit chunky), Caesar salad, and a large portion of rice. For meat, I had seared pork belly x3, addictive harami x2, salted tongue x1, King's salted tongue x2, tender hormone with sauce x2, salted chicken thigh, spicy chicken skin, regular kalbi with sauce, and salted chocolate. I also had almond tofu for dessert. Well, that's a total of 16 servings of meat (lol). I really like the hormone here ♬ But if you can eat this much for 2,138 yen, I recommend going on weekends during the day.

I celebrated my birthday. The restaurant was popular and busy, with various all-you-can-eat courses available. I chose the Standard course for 2980 yen, which included 100 items. The meat was delicious, especially the thickly sliced ones. The service was great and the restaurant was clean and spacious. Overall, it was a good experience, although I wish there were more variety in the hormone dishes.

The hormone at all-you-can-eat restaurants tends to be rubbery, but that's expected at a yakiniku restaurant. The touch panel ordering system was easy to use, which was convenient. On a side note, there was another person dining alone, so it was reassuring. However, that person ordered the premium course with very delicious looking meat, which made me a bit envious. Surprisingly, dining alone at a yakiniku restaurant is doable, and the touch panel ordering system is convenient for solo diners. But if you go with a few people, it might be a hassle to figure out the right amount to order. Overall, the staff was friendly, and if the price were a bit lower, I would probably visit more often.

I used to see this restaurant being built. I thought I should go there once it's open! The other day, my friend tweeted, "Hey, have you been to that yakiniku place?" Oh no, I forgot! It's a buffet-style yakiniku restaurant called "Yakiniku King." It's located in Asahikawa, on the side of National Route 39 in Nagayama 3-jo 9-chome. The restaurant opens at 11:30 am, and I arrived at 11:40 am, with a few customers already there. The place is quite spacious! The lunch buffet, including all-you-can-eat yakiniku and all-you-can-drink soft drinks, costs 1980 yen excluding tax (2138 yen including tax). It's much cheaper than the dinner menu. You order using a tablet, and you don't have to leave your seat. The portions are quite small, but it's good because you can adjust your order and avoid waste. The quality of the meat was above my expectations. The beef kalbi and chicken skin were delicious. The menu doesn't have all the items I usually like, but the meat quality is good. The side dishes were also decent. Overall, the food was tasty, and the price was reasonable for a yakiniku buffet. The staff was helpful, and they even had a countdown on the tablet for the last order. It was a convenient experience. I recommend checking the website for the lunch menu options before visiting. The lunch buffet is a good deal for around 2000 yen, with quality meat to satisfy your cravings. Enjoy!

I went to Yakiniku King in Asahikawa. It was newly opened and already had many customers. There were various courses available. Orders were placed using a touch panel, similar to a revolving sushi restaurant. When I ordered one serving of pork belly, I only got 3 pieces... I also ordered various other items. The fourth photo shows what I think was grilled shabu-shabu. The meat was thin and seemed dry, like it had been frozen. The dessert was good. It might be better to order each dish separately.
