Our shop has a strong connection with the renowned Goten and their lineage. The dishes served here are not only delicious but also visually similar to theirs. That's why I love this taste! The Nori Ramen costs ¥1,000 with just one topping, which may seem a bit pricey, but for those who appreciate the immense amount of flavor required, this is exactly what they've been looking for. The rich aroma and complex taste with a hint of sweetness at the core, that's what I look forward to when I come here. The noodles are very thin and flat, and they come with a generous amount of concentrated soup. Since the noodles are very thin, it's a good idea to gradually make them harder when getting an extra serving. While this may not be recommended for everyone, the powdered topping is also delicious. Seaweed is one of the two major toppings that go well with this soup. In the case of traditional ramen, even with the same tonkotsu broth, it's best to pair it with rice, but with this Nagahama-style soup, enjoying it with the noodles is the way to go. However, for those with a normal palate, the strong smell and unique flavor may be a bit challenging. In fact, a couple who entered at the same time barely touched their food and left looking a bit pale. For those who are used to the overly delicious ramen of today's trend, this may feel lacking. This is a taste meant only for true tonkotsu ramen fans. When it came time to pay, I noticed that the bill was lower than expected, and that's because during lunchtime, one extra serving or a small rice is complimentary. Even so, it's not cheap, but this kind of food is meant for enjoyment, not for everyday eating, and that's what makes it worth it. Oh, I have to go to Goten again soon!

The inside of the shop is the smelliest it has ever been, but the taste is so good that you forget about it. There are different levels of firmness: soft, normal, very firm, crispy, extra crispy, flour-dusted, and super flour-dusted. Those who usually like crispy might enjoy trying extra crispy. Even on a holiday at midnight, there was a long line. Maybe because it was late at night, many customers seemed to come more for the izakaya-style atmosphere rather than just for ramen. As written at the entrance of the shop, changing the taste with sesame, pickled ginger, and spicy pickled mustard greens is also delicious. There are only a few counter seats, so I thought I would have to be considerate to the person next to me, but a beautiful lady who happened to be drinking alone next to me kindly passed them to me. It's nice to have such a warm place nearby.

This is my first review of the Kimchi Ramen with extra noodles, but it was my second visit! There is a strong pork bone smell in the vicinity, but the inside of the restaurant is not too smelly, so it's okay! The ramen was rich and flavorful with a punch! I will visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

I used to frequent this shop a lot. After a typhoon, I was drinking in Kinshicho and got a little hungry, so I visited. It was Friday night at 10pm and the shop was full. This shop is always crowded. It has both counter and table seats, and it's more like a ramen izakaya. They have a wide variety of snacks, and it's the kind of place where you eat ramen to finish off your drinking. However, the dangerous thing about this shop is that the smell really sticks to your body. The smell of pork bone is really strong throughout the shop, and while the smell is good, you need to wash your clothes right away or they'll smell. The ramen is incredibly smelly, which is a compliment. The snacks, including the bean sprouts, were delicious. I also got an extra serving of noodles which were very firm. The person next to me had one bowl of ramen and ordered five extra servings. By the end, there was almost no soup left. It was really delicious.

Inside, the same old-fashioned charm continued, typical of a ramen shop. As I sat at the counter and looked at the menu, the smell of slightly marrow-infused tonkotsu broth wafted through the air. A regular customer next to me ordered ramen with rice, while I opted for the firm noodle ramen with seasoned egg. The bowl arrived promptly, filled with creamy soup topped with seaweed bearing the restaurant's name. The rich tonkotsu broth paired perfectly with the ultra-thin noodles, and I quickly finished the first serving. For lunch, I ordered a free extra serving of noodles. For my second bowl, I added pickled mustard greens, sesame, and pickled ginger for some flavor variation and enjoyed it to the last bite. Perhaps due to the scorching heat, the soup was slightly cooler than I would have preferred, but other than that, it was undeniably delicious. Open until 3am is a lifesaver, haha. It can get pretty crowded, but they have a great selection of appetizers and the service is quick with about 4 staff members working. All the appetizers are good and go well with drinks. The ramen at the end is also delicious, especially the soup which is full of rich pork bone flavor. Unlike Ichiran, this place is really good. Gets you drunk, haha.

I ordered ramen. Smelly. Regretted as soon as I entered the store. Strong animal smell. Sometimes the smell is only inside the store, and the soup turns out to be clear, but this one was also strong. It might have a strong umami flavor, but personally I couldn't enjoy it. Recently, I have found many things to be just average, and the excitement of eating has faded, but encountering something not to my liking made me realize that even something average can be quite delicious, and it was a good opportunity to appreciate that.

I stayed until late at night. The taste of Hakata is here. In a word, it was happiness. Amidst the decrease in late-night ramen shops and restaurants in urban areas due to COVID-19, this place offers delicious ramen to enjoy after drinking. Eating such delicious food helped me sober up.

Located in a slightly off-the-beaten-path area, around halfway between Kinshicho Station and Ryogoku Station, it takes about a 10-minute walk to get there. If you're driving, it's near the intersection of the Keiyo Expressway and Route 319. The restaurant stays open late, and it was quite crowded when we went for a late-night meal. While many ramen shops nowadays offer non-smelly tonkotsu ramen, this place serves a rich and flavorful tonkotsu ramen that has that classic pork bone broth aroma. Surprisingly, the soup was light and easy to drink. It may be a bit tricky to get to, but I would like to revisit this place in the future.

I was always intrigued by the unique smell of pork bone soup while taking a walk, coming from this restaurant. The interior is small, but it always seems to be full of customers. When I went for lunch, it was already packed. I ordered the green onion ramen and requested the firmness of the noodles. It seems you can also change the thickness of the soup to your liking. Having lived in Hakata before, I had authentic pork bone ramen after a long time! The friendly service made me want to visit again. Next time, I think I'll try the bean sprout ramen. Around 8:00 PM on Sunday, I walked into the restaurant with no wait. I ordered a plate of three appetizers and cucumber with mentaiko mayo, and enjoyed it with a refreshing drink called "Hoppy". More customers started to come in, and at times there was a line forming. There were also families with children at the tables, creating a local and cozy atmosphere. The ramen I had at the end was delicious as always, with a unique and tasty flavor. I even had an extra serving of noodles. Thank you for the meal!

I had been curious about this place for a while, so I took the train to Kinshicho after work and walked there to visit. It's a compact restaurant with mainly counter seating, although there are also tables available. They have a wide selection of alcohol and izakaya-style dishes, and the person next to me was just casually drinking. I wonder if I should have ramen as my final dish. I ordered the Nitamago Ramen for 900 yen, focusing on the flavor. I only added the boiled egg topping. The soup is a rich and authentic pork bone broth with an irresistible pork bone aroma. The thin and firm noodles called Harigane are a perfect match. It's a casual yet super authentic pork bone ramen that pairs well as a final dish. Personally, I would say this place ranks in the top 5 for tonkotsu ramen in Tokyo.

The president and store manager are very nice people. The area in front of the shop smells really bad, but you get used to it quickly once you enter. It is within walking distance from nearby stations, but there is also a bus stop right in front of the shop. The food is rich and delicious. After finishing the meal, you may feel like you need water, but that's just right.

The popular pork bone ramen shop with a unique twist can be found in various places in Tokyo, but this is the real deal when it comes to Hakata-style pork bone ramen. There was a crowd gathered in front of the shop, so I thought there was a line, but it turned out to be a bus stop. I ordered the Ajitama Tonkotsu Ramen (900 yen). The white, murky soup is made from pig bones. I chose the noodles to be firm. You can smell the animal scent even outside the shop. The shop has a long history, established in 1987. It is located somewhere between Kinshicho and Ryogoku. The portion is a bit small, so you might want to consider getting an extra serving of noodles. The soup, noodles, smell, everything was the closest to the original Hakata-style pork bone ramen.

The restaurant was full and there was a mix-up with the order, but somehow I ended up with Negi Tonkotsu ramen. I originally ordered the firm noodles, but got the regular hardness instead. Oh well, I decided to order an extra serving of noodles with the firm texture. I like my noodles crunchy so they don't get soggy in the soup. But I can't stop eating this addictive dish. The smell and taste reminiscent of "Nandendenden". I especially like eating Kikurage Chashu with plenty of white sesame and garlic on top. It's the same at Goten, but I start with dropping the flour. For the extra noodles, I go for firm -> very firm. Finally, I finish by adding plenty of spicy pickled mustard greens. Thank you for the meal.

Farewell party turned into a drinking party... This month, I achieved perfect attendance on weekdays, despite getting a hangover the next day, only tonkotsu ramen is acceptable. Even before entering the restaurant, the strong smell of pork bone broth fills the air. I entered the restaurant at 12:40 on Thursday, and it was almost full but no waiting time. The ramen costs 780 yen, and extra noodles are free. I was worried because the place had been closed for a long time, but it was open. However, the big guy who usually works there was missing... I hope everything is okay. Today, the noodles were cooked normally by an older man, and they came out firm. The taste seemed a little different... maybe it's because the big guy wasn't there. During lunchtime, you can get free extra noodles or rice. I always add spicy pickled mustard greens, which is actually a spicy seasoning with chili peppers (hardly any pickled mustard greens). It's really spicy, so for first-timers, it's better to add it little by little. I will visit again on my next hangover day. Thank you for the meal!

At the end of a drinking tour in Kinshicho, we visited "Yokaroumon". The name means "It's good!" in Hakata dialect, which is a positive affirmation for past and future actions. It's like saying it's okay to have ramen even after drinking so much. This place, Nandenkanden, serves authentic Hakata ramen in Tokyo, following the tradition of Gonten. They also have a variety of izakaya-style dishes. Before having ramen, we enjoyed snacks like wood ear mushrooms, mentaiko, myoga, and cucumber with shochu. The tonkotsu aroma in the ramen was excellent, although the star anise flavor in the chashu was a bit unexpected. Still, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

This ramen restaurant is located in a perfect spot, about a 10-minute walk from Ryogoku, Kinshicho, and Kikukawa stations. I visited around midnight after cycling back from Nihonbashi, wanting to grab a bite to avoid getting too skinny. The place was almost full, mostly with locals since there were no more trains running. There are counter seats on the right and two table seats on the left, where you might end up sharing a table with others. I was lucky to find a spot at a table and ordered the seaweed ramen, which cost 1000 yen. The broth wasn't as strong-smelling as I expected, making it easy to drink. The thin noodles were cooked to my preference out of 7 levels, and there was even an option for extra flour on top. The spicy pickled vegetables on the table were really spicy. They also offer takoyaki and other dishes, so I might come back late at night to try them out.
