I thought I had managed to control the first two izakayas, but I made a mistake and got lost... I visited this place for the second time. As the name suggests, it is a pickled ginger restaurant. Of course, we had plenty of pickled ginger sour drinks. We ordered various dishes, but the most impressive was probably the grilled heart skewers with sansho pepper. The pickled ginger salad was refreshing and personally I liked it. We had a good time with a 2-hour all-you-can-drink deal, and then we went to another place for karaoke. Thank you for the meal. I wonder what time we finally returned to the hotel?

After finishing watching a movie, I took a little break before having dinner. Tonight, I had fish at a rare fish skewer restaurant in Sapporo. It was a long-awaited meal with former colleagues from my previous workplace, and we enjoyed various fish skewers. The shrimp and mackerel were especially delicious. This time we had a course meal and enjoyed it, but next time I plan to try a variety of dishes.

A customer visited this restaurant based on high ratings on Tabelog. Overall, the experience was not impressive. The all-you-can-drink option is not cheap at 1,680 yen excluding tax. The fish skewers are around 300 yen each and taste decent, but nothing special. The sashimi was also just average. The ordering system was a bit confusing, as customers are required to order three items with the two-hour all-you-can-drink option and place a food order one hour before it ends. Despite the popularity of the restaurant, there was nothing outstanding that stood out. I might give it another try on a personal visit next time.

The other day, I went to eat seafood with a friend. It was our first time at this restaurant, and they specialize in seafood, so we ordered a few seafood dishes and toasted with barley shochu. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and delicious, without any fishy smell. It was very satisfying to eat, and I felt that it was a good restaurant for dining with friends.

It had been a while since I visited the fish skewer restaurant. This time, I used a drink-all-you-can coupon and made a reservation just before going, as it seemed to be available. We sat at a table, but the distance between the tables was close. Smoking is allowed, so if you are sensitive to smoke, it might be a bit uncomfortable, so I hesitate to recommend it. The sashimi and fish skewers, mainly seafood, were delicious! There are also other side dishes and meat options, so I think you can enjoy eating and drinking without getting bored. I sat in a sunken kotatsu seating area. There were no cushions... Sitting on the floor was tough (⌒-⌒; ) However, the menu was fascinating with many tempting options. I wanted to try everything. The daikon radish had a strong ginger flavor! - <Sashimi> Assortment of 5 fresh sashimi pieces: tuna, salmon, mackerel, yellowtail, octopus, one piece each. All very fresh and delicious! Especially liked the mackerel which had a mild vinegar taste ("lightly pickled mackerel"). - <Fried dish> Young chicken with grated daikon ponzu sauce tempura. We had one piece each. - <Specialty dish> Seafood salad with pickled ginger. - <Grilled dish> Assortment of grilled fish skewers: shrimp (chili mayo), sandfish (salt), mackerel (miso), pike conger eel (plum), bluefin tuna with green onion (salt), one skewer each. All very flavorful and juicy! - <Finish> Cold soba noodles. Good texture and aroma! - <Dessert> Seasonal citrus sorbet for a refreshing end to the meal. Overall, the meal was quite satisfying. The course menu was a bit on the smaller side in terms of portion. We were about 70% full. I would rate it 3.0 stars for value for money. Will definitely come back again!

I had made a reservation for the all-you-can-drink "Gariya course" on this day. However, my schedule got severely delayed, and on top of that, there was heavy snowfall! I was going to be more than an hour late! When I contacted the restaurant, they said it was okay and told me to "be careful on your way here." Those words really saved me, and I felt relieved. I managed to arrive just in time, one hour late. My throat was so dry, so I quickly ordered a beer. Even though it was winter, the classic beer tasted incredibly delicious. Now, I was curious about the restaurant's name "Gariya," and I soon found out. It was the pickled ginger that came with the sashimi! It was surprisingly tasty! I was impressed by this new way of eating sashimi! I thought about trying it at home (but I haven't done it yet). They also had unique skewers like komai and other fish skewers that I had never tried before. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent, just like the impression I got from the phone call. I had dinner in Susukino and decided to make a reservation after seeing it on Instagram. It happened to be their anniversary when I made the reservation, so I got a little discount. Seafood in Hokkaido is really delicious! Everything I ate was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and the staff were friendly. When I visit Hokkaido again, I would like to stop by this restaurant (^-^)

When I first went there, I was worried that if a whole fish was skewered, there might be too much to eat. But they were cut into pieces, making it easy to eat and enjoy a variety of dishes. The skewers are all delicious, and most importantly, the prices are surprisingly reasonable! The portion size was just right, with a variety of seasonings available, so I could enjoy a wide range of flavors.

I once requested "This Charming Man" by Shibuya Yoichi on the radio. It was in a time before I became a working adult. I unexpectedly liked "How Soon Is Now" that I saw on MTV, and I borrowed a record of The Smiths from a new rental record store in Kitashiro. The girl working there was a classmate from high school, although I'm not sure which year. I believe she was in the same class as me in sophomore year. I never really talked to her, and I didn't have a close relationship with female classmates in my class. She gave me a somewhat quiet impression, and it somehow made sense to see her working at a rock record rental store. The record I borrowed was "Hatful of Hollow" by The Smiths. When I handed the rented record to her, I wondered if she remembered me even just a little bit. After watching "How Soon Is Now" on MTV, the first track of that record, "William, It Was Really Nothing," became one of my second favorite songs by The Smiths.

I found another wonderful restaurant on this day. The food was delicious and the staff were amazing. Of course, who you are with is also an important point. It was a special day and I drank too much. Thank you for the meal.

Near Susukino Station, on the third floor of a building, there is an izakaya. As the name suggests, they specialize in grilled seafood skewers, but they also have a good selection of other izakaya dishes. You can enjoy various Hokkaido flavors here. The interior is a bit small, so if you order too much, the table can feel cramped. It's a popular spot and was quite lively when I visited.

I went on a business trip to Sapporo and made a reservation in advance. The restaurant was full, so I was seated in a private room and we started with a toast with Sapporo beer. For the second round, I tried the recommended Galisour. I added more drinks and switched to highballs from the fourth round. I also tried the Galisour. I ordered as shown in the picture (not all items were photographed). The octopus was delicious and highly recommended. In the end, we only ordered grilled dishes instead of sashimi, which were all delicious. The staff, including the part-time waitress, were friendly and good!

I found a rare fish skewer restaurant and called them at 4:30 PM. They said they could take a reservation from 6:00 PM, so I decided to visit right away. I was seated at a table and looked at the menu. They offered all-you-can-drink, and with a coupon, the "Classic, local sake, and authentic shochu all-you-can-drink" was discounted from 2,000 yen to 1,480 yen. This was a great deal. I decided to start with a Classic beer. When it comes to all-you-can-drink places that offer Classic beer, I have high expectations. As for the fish skewers, I couldn't decide, so I ordered a 7-piece assorted skewer set to start. I also ordered a 5-piece assorted sashimi set, potato salad, and marinated mackerel. The marinated mackerel was delicious, and the sashimi set looked fresh and tasty. The main event, the fish skewer set, arrived after about 15 minutes. It included shrimp mayo, eel with plum, mackerel, salmon, octopus, tsubu (whelk), and komai (smelt). All the skewers were small but the fish was tender and tasty. The whelk had a hint of sansho pepper which was delicious. My companion ordered salted fish roe and enjoyed it with sake. We asked about the "local sake" mentioned in the coupon, and it turned out to be just the sake offered in the all-you-can-drink menu, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the food was delicious and we ended the meal with a light vegetable skewer set. It was a satisfying meal. Thank you. Rating: 3.43

All the dishes were delicious. The Japanese sake, Kamikawa Taisetsu and Kokushi Musou, were also great! The staff's service was excellent, and I could enjoy the food and drinks comfortably. I would love to visit again when I travel to Sapporo for business or vacation.
