There were other options, but they were a secret – saloon MACO. I tried searching for it diligently but couldn't find it on Google, not even on Tabelog. I was worried about the noise level in the restaurant, but it seemed quiet enough to enjoy a drink, so I decided to give it a try. Later, I found out from the shop card that it was actually saloon MACO, not MAGO as I had initially thought. I even found it under the Katakana reading "サルーンマコ". The place had a nice atmosphere, and the owners were friendly and engaging. I had a Sapporo Lager and a Red Star beer, which had a classic lager taste with a nice hop aroma and a bitter taste. The owners and regular customers were welcoming, and I felt comfortable there. I didn't try the food, but the drinks were good and reasonably priced. The American country-style ambiance of the place was appealing, and I enjoyed the experience. I heard they occasionally have live music, and I plan to go back next Sunday for their next event.
