I won tickets to the Grand Prix Final of figure skating scheduled to be held in Osaka, but it was canceled, so I decided to change my plans to a trip to Kyoto instead. I met up with my friend Mat-chan at Kyoto Station, coming from Nagoya on the Shinkansen, and we also met up with Mocchicchi who came from Itami Airport via Shin-Osaka Station. Our first stop in Kyoto was Fushimi Inari, a famous shrine known for its thousands of red torii gates. After climbing to the mountaintop, we took a break at a new rest area called Teichoan, which also had a café called Inari Charyo. We tried their specialty, the Inari Parfait, which had a torii gate on top made of rice and sugar. It was a beautifully presented parfait with green tea ice cream, white balls, green tea powder, red bean paste, and other traditional Japanese ingredients. The parfait was delicious and a unique experience.

I visited around 1pm on Sunday! Located within the grounds of Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, the terrace seats offer a fantastic view. I chose to eat inside as it was hot. When leaving the shop, there was a line, but I was able to enter smoothly. The matcha soft serve was rich and delicious, and the green tea I ordered was very sweet. The matcha soft serve was excellent!

After visiting the Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine, I stopped by a Kyoto-style cafe where you can enjoy a matcha parfait while looking out at the garden. You can choose to sit on the terrace or inside the shop. The weather was nice that day, not too hot, so I chose the terrace seat and enjoyed a relaxing time listening to the chirping of birds. The parfait was not only visually appealing, but also meticulously made, using plenty of rice as a tribute to the god of abundant harvest, Inari. It was made with ingredients that you can eat all of. The appearance, taste, and atmosphere were all excellent, so I highly recommend this shop.

During my trip to Kyoto, I visited the famous Inari Shrine. There was a rest area at the bottom of the mountain, and the tea house was the most prominent spot there. I had heard a lot about it online, so I knew I had to go. The interior had few seats, but there was a terrace with a view of the mountain, which is recommended on sunny days. I highly recommend the Inari Shrine matcha ice cream, which costs around 1800 yen. You can take some great photos there.

I visited the cafe right after it opened on a regular day. I placed my order, paid, and then was seated. It was the third group in line, and I had to wait about 5 minutes because the first two groups were foreign customers and took a while to order. The cafe had both terrace and indoor seating, and water was self-service. I ordered the Inari Parfait, Hojicha Latte, and Matcha Latte. The trays and dishes had a lovely design with Torii gates and foxes, giving a feeling of Fushimi Inari. The Hojicha Latte and Matcha Latte were sweet with a mild tea flavor. The matcha ice cream in the Inari Parfait had a strong matcha taste, more authentic than just the design. The rice puffs also complemented the matcha well. It was a parfait that made me feel the abundance of the harvest. The staff were polite and cheerful, making it a cafe I would like to visit again.

I came to Fushimi Inari Taisha again, this time with a friend. It was my birthday this month and I really wanted to go to Inariyama, so I ended up coming to the main shrine of Fushimi Inari Taisha. When you think of Fushimi Inari Taisha, you think of the Inari Parfait, right? The presentation is great, the taste is great, and it's perfect for Instagram! The small torii gates and the pure white foxes are so cute. I feel happy looking at them, and I feel happy eating the delicious sweets at Inari Charyo. I'll definitely come back again. Thank you for the delicious sweets.

Fushimi Inari Taisha, a shrine popularly known as Inari-san in Kyoto. It is the head shrine of about 30,000 Inari shrines nationwide and is famous as a god of prosperity in business. Many people from all over the country visit to worship. I also come to Fushimi Inari Taisha every year and receive prayers from the shrine priest. After the prayer, I pass through the vermilion torii gates and stop by the "Inari Tea House" on the grounds for a cup of tea. [Matcha at Inari Tea House] *Comments are written in the photo. ★Strong Matcha Latte ◎ The "Inari Tea House" is located next to the rest area "Nightingale An" and offers drinks centered around matcha. The interior has table seats and terrace seats, with a view of the Hoshimi Pond from the windows. Thank you for the meal.

The cafe has a wonderful view and also offers terrace seating. The Inari Parfait is very popular. It's a perfect place to take a break before or after exploring Fushimi Inari Taisha. ⛩️ Inari Parfait (1400 yen) The parfait at Inari Charyo inside Fushimi Inari Taisha was very delicious and Kyoto-like. ☺️❤️

After enjoying a visit to the popular Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine in Kyoto, I decided to take a break and indulge in some sweets at the café "Teichian" next to the garden where you can hear the sounds of wild birds. I thought of ordering the lucky Inari parfait while sitting on the terrace. I paid for my order at the counter before being guided to the terrace. Wrapped in a warm houjicha tea and a blanket, I relaxed while watching the herons and small birds in the garden in front of me. The "Inari Parfait" for ¥1400 included a vibrant display, with rice flowers made from deep-fried rice seeds that you can actually eat. The green ball was a matcha bean paste wrapped in agar, topped with gold leaf, an original sweet from Teichian called "Chamitsu". Inari Okami is widely worshipped as the guardian god of bountiful harvests, so the Inari Parfait is made with plenty of rice and all edible ingredients. The fox with a ball and a key in its mouth depicted on the parfait was a slightly sweet rice flour rice cracker with a matcha scent, while the cute torii gate perched on top was a rice flour and sugar snack called "Unpei". The torii gates and forest of Fushimi Inari were vividly recreated in the glass. Mixing the rice flakes from the bottom with the matcha ice cream provided a rich and deep flavor, balancing out the coldness and making it delicious until the very end. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Fushimi Inari, passed through many red torii gates, climbed a bit of the mountain, and found Inari Chaya on my way back! The beautiful atmosphere and lovely sweets attracted me to enter. It was a very cold day, but the matcha ice cream looked delicious, so I got it to go along with a warm matcha tea. Even though eating inside the shop is not allowed, there is a resting area outside where you can enjoy the view of the garden. The cold wind was chilling, but many people were enjoying soft serve ice cream. The warm matcha tea had a nice bitterness that paired well with the soft serve ice cream. The matcha soft serve was also delicious! Kyoto winter was too cold.

I came to try the parfait that was popular on Instagram. It looked beautiful and the matcha was rich and delicious. I had this traditional Japanese sweet for the first time in a while. Most of the autumn leaves were gone, but it was nice to relax on the terrace.

This cafe, popular on Instagram, is located inside the Inari Shrine. I arrived 20 minutes before opening on a Sunday and was able to get in without any problems. I ordered the most popular item, the Inari Parfait. You can enjoy it on the terrace while looking out at the garden. And when the parfait arrived - it was so cute! What's with the miniature torii gates and foxes?! I took about 50 photos before finally digging in. The matcha ice cream had a strong bitter matcha flavor with a mild sweetness. Personally, I prefer a stronger matcha taste than sweetness, so it was perfect for me. On the other hand, the sweet red bean paste and whipped cream were on the sweeter side. It was all about finding a balance while eating. You can eat the ears of rice which were chewy and had a popcorn-like flavor. The torii gate had a taste similar to Santa Claus on a Christmas cake. As I continued eating, I found a rice cracker in the middle! It was a nostalgic taste that surprisingly went well with the parfait. It was still before noon, but I finished it all in one go. Cute, delicious, and satisfying! Enjoy a photogenic parfait at Inari Charyo while looking out at the Japanese garden.

I went to a cafe where I could relax at Fushimi Inari Taisha ❤️ Fushimi Inari Taisha is very spacious and the thousand torii gates are long, so it can be tiring to walk around. But this cafe is located within the grounds and is a perfect rest stop along the way. I chose to sit on the terrace, which was quiet and had a nice atmosphere by the river, so I was able to relax. The famous Inari parfait has a mini torii gate, which is the symbol of Fushimi Inari Taisha, making it a memorable dish. I didn't try it this time, but it looked super cute in photos, so I want to try it next time ❤️

After exploring Fushimi Inari Shrine, I stopped by this shop on the way. In the hot summer, enjoying cold tea and sweets can help relieve fatigue. The shop isn't very spacious, but it's nice to savor sweets while looking at the outside scenery. Having such a shop adds value to tourism experiences.

We visited around 2:00 PM with 2 people. The location is about a 5-minute walk from Fushimi Inari Station on the Keihan Line and Inari Station on the JR Nara Line. We visited the rest area "Inari Charyo" located within the premises of the World Heritage Site "Fushimi Inari Taisha". Fushimi Inari Taisha was founded in 711 and is the head shrine of about 30,000 Inari shrines nationwide. The thousands of torii gates that lead into the mountains of Inari are very famous, making it a must-visit spot for tourists in Kyoto. Inari Charyo has a traditional Japanese tea house design inside, as well as a free outdoor rest area with different menus that can be ordered. Both the indoor and outdoor rest areas are arranged around Hachijima Pond and the garden, allowing you to relax and appreciate the beauty of nature. (Takeout menu) When you make a purchase, you can use the free outdoor rest area. It seemed that you cannot use the indoor seats for takeout menu orders. ■ Uji Matcha 600 yen ■ Green Tea 550 yen ■ Cold-brewed Tea 400 yen ■ Kyoto Black Tea 400 yen ■ Cold-brewed Houjicha 350 yen ■ Rich Matcha Soft Serve 600 yen * Matcha soft serve is 800 yen for indoor seating (Indoor menu) ■ Inari Parfait 1,300 yen ■ Offered Uji Tea and Wagashi 1,300 yen ■ Uji Gyokuro Tea and Wagashi 1,500 yen ■ Kyoto Black Tea and Wagashi 1,100 yen ■ Green Tea and Wagashi 1,000 yen ■ Uji Cold-brewed Tea and Wagashi 1,000 yen ■ Rich Matcha Zenzai 1,000 yen ■ Inari Shaved Ice 1,200 yen ■ Rich Matcha Soft Serve 800 yen * Matcha soft serve is 600 yen for takeout 【Dishes we tried】 We wanted to relax indoors, but unfortunately it was full, so we had to use the free outdoor rest area. ★ Rich Matcha Soft Serve 600 yen It has a mild sweetness and a strong matcha flavor. It's a light soft serve. ★ Green Tea 550 yen Served in a takeout cup, it's a strong green tea. 【Overall】 It was a hot day when we visited, so we wanted to rest indoors, but we enjoyed the view from the outdoor rest area, so it was good. I would like to try the indoor menu items as well. Nature shows a different face with each changing season, so I would like to try again someday. After visiting Fushimi Inari, I stopped by a tea house for a break. I had a cup of cold-brewed green tea for 400 yen. The tea house was full, so I enjoyed my tea at the adjacent free rest area. The view was beautiful and helped to cool off the hot summer air. I recommend visiting this place after visiting Fushimi Inari.

After enjoying a cute bear-shaped soda bottle at the foot of Kiyomizu Temple, we headed to Fushimi Inari Taisha. After finishing our visit, it was time for lunch. It was so hot. Really hot. We spotted a teahouse and quickly sought refuge there (laughs). Luckily, they also served meals. My daughters decided to have matcha ice cream too. We entered and paid at the counter first. Surprisingly, the place was full when we sat down. Lucky us! It was a bit pricey, being a tourist spot, but oh well. The staff seemed a bit rushed, but we enjoyed our delicious cold matcha soba. Thank you for the meal!

I went to Fushimi Inari Shrine and now I'm going to have a parfait at this tea house! I've always thought it was cute. The "Inari Parfait" costs 1300 yen (including 10% tax). It's a cute parfait with a torii gate. Fushimi Inari is the god of bountiful harvests, so it has rice ears on top. It also has rice puffs! It was delicious!

To clear a task given by a friend, I went to Fushimi Inari. I was worried when the baggage storage of the Fushimi Inari Shopping District was closed, but all the coin lockers at the nearest JR station were empty. By the way, they can fit carry-on luggage for international flights. On my way back after completing the task, I saw a photo of a parfait on the approach that looked cute, so I ordered it. It arrived looking exactly like the photo, with agar, matcha, sweet beans, and a Western-style parfait combined. Additionally, rice, representing a bountiful harvest, was cleverly incorporated. It cost 1300 yen. I was lucky to find a seat outside, so I'm in a good mood. Despite being a tourist spot, the price was reasonable, and I'm satisfied. Thank you for the meal!
