This area doesn't have many night-time open restaurants with a nice atmosphere. The lighting caught my attention every time I passed by on Imadegawa Street. There are about 2-3 table seats and 7-8 counter seats. The appearance and taste of the food are good. It seems like they are busy handling everything alone. As mentioned by others, they don't try to force customers in, so the food doesn't take too long to come out. However, if you don't have a reservation, you might be turned away. They only accept cash, which might be a bit of a hurdle for some people.

I use it on special occasions! The food, the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the owner's service are all excellent. Even though it's a one-man operation, the speed at which the food comes out is not slow. I usually make reservations for the course menu, and I think it's a better deal than ordering individual items because you get to try various dishes in small portions. Drinks, other than water, are an additional charge from the course menu, but the Spanish liquor is delicious! I recommend using it with a small group (2-3 people), like on a date! I want to keep coming back to this place over and over again!! *The photos are of the course dishes in order.

I ordered the course menu. Every dish had thoughtful details, but all the details were assembled towards the goal of simply being delicious. Everything was delicious without feeling like they were trying too hard. It was a Spanish bar with natural wines. My senior colleague, who had to attend two dinners that night, almost finished everything because it was so delicious.笑

I came back from dinner and felt like going out for a drink, so I contacted them. They said it was fine to just drink, so I visited the place. I had red wine and a platter of ham, which was generously cut. The ham included Serrano, Bejota, two types of salami, tuna carpaccio, and bottarga, all of which were delicious, but I particularly liked the tuna carpaccio. The red wine was recommended and both the wine and the ham were easy to drink and tasty. After eating, drinking, and chatting for about an hour, I left. I had a great time.

I had a wonderful time! The interior design is very elaborate and stylish, which I loved. I made a reservation and opted for the course menu, and every dish that came out was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The selection of plates was excellent. It's hard to pick a favorite dish because they were all so tasty. If I were to bring someone here for their birthday or a special occasion, I'm sure they would fall even more in love with this amazing restaurant. I'd like to come back next time and try the a la carte menu.

I stopped by casually for a drink late at night this time as well. Even though it was past the last order time for food, I was able to order some snacks. I had wine by the glass, and they had many easy-to-drink options. As always, I had the Basque cheesecake for dessert. It's a relaxed place to visit. I'd like to come back and take my time next time.

After having dinner at New Mancho, we decided to go somewhere for drinks. It's great that you can easily stop by for just drinks without having a full meal. We ordered the ham, anchovy garlic, and Basque cheesecake, all of which paired well with the wine and were very delicious. Personally, I really liked the Basque cheesecake here. This place is suitable for a proper meal or just for a casual drink. I would like to visit again.

Near Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, about a 6-minute walk from Randen Kitano Hakubaicho Station. It's a shop I've been curious about for a long time, and I finally got to go. They are short-staffed and have reduced seating due to the influence of COVID, so it's better to make a reservation in advance. For reservations of 3 people or more, you will be served a selection of tapas. Tapas 5 types (chef's choice), Foie Gras and Strawberry Macaron, Tuna and Grilled Eggplant Tartare, Delicious Tortilla, Spanish Cheeseburger, Paella Grilled Onigiri, Assorted Ham 2 kinds, Oyster and Morino Shiitake Ajillo with Homemade Bread for 950 yen. Iberico Pork Shoulder Roast for 2300 yen, Squid Ink Risotto Meloso for 1800 yen, Chocolate Terrine/Basque Cheesecake. It was my first visit, so I ordered everything that caught my eye. The macaron served first was stylish in appearance and delicious in taste. All the tapas are delicious and go well with wine. The 2 types of ham are recommended. The Iberico pork is quite juicy. Ordering for about 3 people is just right. The squid ink dish is authentic and has a deep flavor that makes you want to eat more. The Basque cheesecake is creamy and recommended for those who like melt-in-your-mouth desserts. It's a great place to go alone. I would like to visit again.

A friend requested Spanish cuisine and since it was late at night, I suggested this place. The food goes beyond typical Spanish bar dishes in terms of quality and presentation. Personally, I think their garlic shrimp (ahijo) is the second best in Kyoto (with the best being at another place). This restaurant offers high-quality Spanish cuisine at a great value, and I believe it has the potential to grow even more.

I arrived late, but was warmly welcomed. There were maiko from Gion in the restaurant. Starting with appetizers, I enjoyed Iberico ham, salami, and wine. I decided to order Spanish risotto instead of paella, and it was incredibly delicious. I also ordered duck meat, which was perfectly cooked. The quality was high, and the prices were reasonable. Since it was late, the staff was handling everything alone, so it was a bit hard to order drinks. Next time, I will go for a bottle of wine!

The strawberry and foie gras macaron, and the firefly squid and squid ink grilled rice ball were incredibly delicious! I might not go back again, but I'm glad I went once.

A friend from afar who was in a Mediterranean mood chose this restaurant. I had heard the name before but it was located in Kitano Shirakawa-cho so I hadn't had the chance to visit until now. The restaurant had a half-glass front, giving a clear view of the inside even before entering. The interior had a flawless blend of traditional Japanese house and industrial style, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The wine list was extensive and reasonably priced. We ordered prosciutto, garlic shrimp, oyster pate, leek salad, and seafood meloso. Paella requires advance reservation. Except for the prosciutto, the dishes were different from what I had imagined, beautifully presented on cute plates. The flavors were robust and delicious. It seemed like a creative Spanish-style cuisine rather than authentic Spanish. When my friend accidentally broke a glass, the staff's response was so kind and accommodating, making it a very pleasant dining experience. The seafood meloso, served in a large pot, was warm and comforting, perfect for warming up on a cold day. My friend took care of the bill, so I'm not sure about the total cost. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

Occasionally passing by the front of this stylish and appealing shop, I was intrigued and finally decided to visit with a friend after seeing articles in magazines like hanako and Miitsu. We arrived around 8 pm on a weekday and took seats at the counter. The interior had a very stylish atmosphere with a unique sense of comfort. There were dried flowers decorating the space, which added to the cute ambiance. We were happy to order mini hamburgers, Arroz Meloso (risotto), and grilled pork loin, along with white wine and sangria. The menu seemed to feature Spanish cuisine. The sangria was both stylish and delicious! As we chatted comfortably at the counter, our dishes arrived. The hamburger buns were fluffy and delicious, apparently homemade. The Arroz Meloso was amazing - incredibly delicious with its rich sauce, cheese, and rice. The grilled pork loin was generous in portion and the fatty meat was tasty. The grilled vegetables served as a side were a nice touch. What a wonderful restaurant! I was truly impressed. The bill came to around 4000 yen per person for such authentic and delicious dishes in a stylish and cozy setting. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Following the recommendation from the fortune teller, we had already enjoyed the chicken and now wanted to have a sit-down drink. The day before, I had really liked the "oyster paste" and wanted to share it with my friend and enjoy it more myself. So, we ordered the oyster paste again. This time, we also tried the shrimp ajillo. The bread for the paste and the ajillo was different, which was a nice touch. Both were homemade and carefully selected to complement the dishes. The master here has a great sense of taste and style. Everything from the plates to the cutlery is chosen with care, giving off a simple yet warm vibe. We ended up opening two bottles of wine, getting carried away by the cozy atmosphere, and completely losing track of time.

A friend recommended me to try the "Oyster Paste" at a place where they were drinking alone. When I tried it, I was blown away by the amazing flavor and texture. The paste was so smooth and perfect for this season. My friend visits this place multiple times during winter just to eat this dish. I can totally see why. It's a must-try item! The bread served was soft and moist, which paired perfectly with the paste. I couldn't stop drinking the wine, it was dangerously good. Apparently, they also have a selection of Japanese sake. My friend was enjoying the oyster paste with sake in a wine glass. It was hard to tell, but drinking sake from a glass is also nice. The selection of sake changes regularly, but it always complements the dishes well.

A stylish Spanish bar in Kitano Shirakabecho. The interior is also stylish, with cute cutlery and cutlery holders. The hojicha tea served in a Nanbu iron kettle is exceptional, and they will refill the hot water for you multiple times. The visually appealing grilled onion salad with paprika and almond romesco sauce is delicious. The porcini mushroom, chestnut, and cheese arroz meloso was incredibly tasty, like a risotto. The Iberico pork shoulder was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked. The meat was naturally delicious. The salad dressing and Inca awakening grill were also excellent accompaniments. The staff's service is good, and I will definitely be visiting frequently.
