The restaurant is on the left side of the first floor of an apartment building, with parking available in front of the store. The stylish cafe-like interior has high counter seats and three tables. They offer three types of curry that change daily, and you can choose to have them separately or as a set. I opted for the set of three curries for 1150 yen. For the Tom Kha Gai curry, they asked if I wanted cilantro topping or not. As I looked around the interior, I noticed chairs hanging from the ceiling. The curries arrived fairly quickly. The one on the right was clam coconut curry, the one in front was cardamom keema, and the one on the left was Tom Kha Gai. The side dishes included baby corn, carrots, and a black sesame-like paste. The clam coconut curry had a strong clam broth flavor that paired well with the sweetness of coconut. The cardamom keema had a strong spice aroma and a familiar curry taste with a bit of spiciness. The Tom Kha Gai was more like a soup than a curry, so they suggested enjoying it separately or mixing it with rice. It had a strong cilantro aroma, spicy flavor, and tender chicken that went well with rice. Mixing it with the cardamom keema created a new and interesting flavor. Overall, I enjoyed authentic and flavorful spice curries.

A curry restaurant located about a 10-minute walk from the center of Arashiyama's tourist attractions. It is close to the Car Oe Shrine. There are only about 2 reviews, but we decided to go after seeing the photos. It seems that the restaurant just opened in June this year. You can choose from three types of curry: minced pork keema curry, coconut-based butter chicken curry, and lamb vindaloo. You can choose one type or mix two or three types of curry. Of course, we ordered the three types of mixed curry and added tandoori chicken as a topping, showing off our hearty appetite. The spiciness is just right and delicious. Each of the three flavors comes through, and we enjoyed eating in silence. I was impressed to find a authentic curry restaurant in such a relatively remote location. There were only two customers, my friend and me. This is where writing a review on a site like Tabelog really makes sense. On the way back, we passed by Togetsukyo Bridge, and the usual crowds made me a bit tired. Personally, I think this is a recommended restaurant for those who want to eat a little more leisurely. I found this restaurant while looking for lunch in Arashiyama. The owner runs the place alone. You can choose from 3 types of curry, and you can also have all types as toppings. I decided to have all types as toppings. The curry is of very high quality. You can feel the dedication to every spice. The spiciness is elegant and the rice goes down quickly. I would love to come back if it's nearby. The exterior looks like a cafe, but there aren't many drink options, so it's definitely a place to come for curry. Even the local ladies were there, laughing.
