夏ミカン
I stayed at "Umekoji Potel Kyoto," which opened in Umekoji Park in Kyoto on October 14, 2020. It's not just a regular hotel, it's a fun hotel called "Potel." When you explore the inside, you'll find a guest-only lounge called "Awai no Ma" on each floor. You can enjoy reading in the "Book," a wood-themed space in "Moku," listen to records in "Music," and play board games in "Game." My favorite part was the rooftop terrace with a view of Kyoto, where you can see Toji's pagoda and Kyoto Tower. Watching the trains go by, you can lose track of time. The sunset was beautiful, and the night view was romantic. The large communal bath, "Poteyu," recreates a traditional public bath and offers a nostalgic experience. The guest rooms are spacious and cozy, providing a blissful time. The self-service bar on the first floor offers alcohol, soft drinks, and more for free. You can enjoy 100% fruit juice, cold-brewed iced tea, hand-drip coffee using Potel's original blend beans, beer, wine, and more. The first-floor restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast, there is a buffet counter with dishes like salt koji-grilled fish, miso soup, and Kyoto-style side dishes. There were many options, and everything was delicious.
