I went to Kyoto for a visit~♬ If you're going to Shijo, this is the place for lunch♪ I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. It's usually very popular and you have to wait in line for lunch, but for some reason, it was a lucky day and there was no line (laughs). I chatted with the staff and said, "It seems like there are days like this too." It was nice to be able to visit on a good day. Now, a little down from Shijo Street on Tomikoji Street, there is a cute restaurant with an exterior that looks like it's from a foreign country♡ The delicious smell of garlic outside makes you hungry even before entering the restaurant♡ Of course, when you open the door, the good smell welcomes you even more~ (laughs) I was guided to the second floor, and I thought, "I'm going to sit by that cute window this time" and that alone lifted my spirits (laughs). The interior of the restaurant is also nice. The lunch set includes a plate of three types of appetizers, vegetable salad, bread, ham, and a drink. Both the ham and bread are all-you-can-eat, and the service is perfect for those who like to indulge♡ When the food arrives, it seems like I could get full from just this (laughs). For the appetizer, I chose "crab meat and crab miso." As usual, the garlic is terrifyingly (laughs) strong, and for garlic lovers, it's irresistible♡ The other ingredients are also delicious, but the crab, which brings depth to the flavor with its seafood taste, is my favorite♡ I eat the ingredients, soak the bread in oil, and eat it, and clean the plate until the end (laughs). I want to have three more servings!! (*ノωノ)・The mayonnaise dip with squid ink for the paella area allows for flavor variation♡ The mayonnaise with a refreshing taste makes it possible to eat as much as you want~♬ The taste, price, and the staff, including the staff behind the counter, who are very friendly, make it a pleasant place to visit whenever you go♡ This is important♡ I will visit again♪ Thank you for the meal♬

I had never tried Spanish cuisine for lunch in Kyoto before, so I was looking for a place and found Bejota Concha near Shijo Kawaramachi. They offer lunch at a reasonable price, with a menu including a main dish, aioli, paella, a set with a main dish and mini aioli, and dessert. Each set comes with tapas, a drink, and all-you-can-eat ham and bread. I opted for the main dish set as paella seemed time-consuming and I wanted something low in fat. The tapas included a salad with plenty of leafy greens, grilled small fish, and marinated yellowtail. The dressing on the salad was refreshing, the grilled fish was perfectly seasoned with just salt, and the yellowtail was delicious. The all-you-can-eat ham went well with the bread, which was a bit dry and better suited for soups or aioli. For the main dish, you can choose from daily specials like Santander-style sardines, grilled mackerel, or for an additional 500 yen, Spanish-style bouillabaisse with sea bream. I chose the bouillabaisse, which had a flavorful broth with clams, shrimp, and tomatoes, and the sea bream was tender and tasty. My companion chose the Santander-style sardines, which were whole grilled sardines in a tomato stew, a bit oily but paired well with the stew. The drink options included hot and iced coffee, tea, and juice. I made a reservation before visiting, and the restaurant was full on the holiday. The customers were mostly female groups or couples. Many people were ordering aioli, probably because of the all-you-can-eat bread. I recommend ordering a soup to go with the bread. Overall, lunch at this restaurant requires a reservation.

The lunch set for Ahihijo has increased to 1500 yen. But I will still continue to use it. The all-you-can-eat ham and bread are still a delight. With one drink, Ahihijo, and salad included, I still think this price is cheap. The seats are narrow, but the service is excellent, and they come to ask if you want more bread and ham multiple times. I couldn't finish the Ahihijo, as it had too much oil and garlic.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was like a small shop in a Spanish neighborhood, and the staff were very friendly. If I had to say something negative, it would be that the wine was a bit slow to come out.

Sometimes I really crave for the all-you-can-eat lunch of prosciutto. I don't eat a lot, but I always end up wanting just one more bite. Prosciutto goes really well with garlic shrimp and seafood dishes, and the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant is also nice. 🍴

The prosciutto was quite dry, but the amount of garlic in the ahihijo was impressive, it had quite a kick.

The prosciutto seemed a bit old at times, but it was still tasty (ﾉ^ω^)ﾉ I have low blood pressure, so I can enjoy the salt without worrying, haha.

The main dish took a bit longer to arrive, probably because the restaurant was busy. That was fine though, since we could enjoy the prosciutto in the meantime! After the meal, we were served coffee or tea in small cups, and that was it. There's no time limit, so you can eat slowly and keep enjoying the prosciutto forever if you want (but be careful of bloating!). The cost performance was so great that I was shocked. The flavor of the prosciutto was excellent, with a perfect amount of saltiness making it delicious. The salad had a surprising amount of volume. The shrimp in the aioli was particularly tasty. The garlic was plentiful and eating it with the baguette was a delightful experience. I would like to try other lunch options next time I visit.

The highlight is the delicious Spanish ham that you can have as much as you want. Just that alone is worth more than 1,100 yen. Both the grilled dish and paella are delicious, making it a very satisfying lunch!

The first floor has counter and table seating, while the second floor has table seating. Most customers are couples or women. I ordered the weekday special Paella Lunch for 1100 yen including tax. It includes a generous salad, three tapas dishes, all-you-can-eat ham and bread, paella, and iced coffee. This paella set quickly sold out, indicating its popularity. The ham was a bit dry but had a strong salty flavor. The bread was average. However, the overall value was excellent. When I asked for a refill of ham, freshly cut slices were brought out, which tasted much better. The paella had two large shrimp and flavorful rice. It was delicious and affordable. I look forward to trying the garlic shrimp (Ajo Blanco) next time. I am definitely coming back!

I stuck with the crab like last time. The garlic shrimp was very delicious with a good amount of garlic. The bread is nothing special, but it tastes great with the garlic shrimp. You can also enjoy plenty of prosciutto. Prosciutto is good with bread, but I recommend eating it with salad. The salad has a very tasty dressing. For dessert, I had hot coffee this time. Last time it was iced coffee. The coffee is still not that great, but it's fine as a bonus. Reservations are a must!

The flavor was really good though. The garlic shrimp, on the other hand, was incredibly delicious!! When dipped in bread, it was really tasty. The garlic inside was also delicious. The iced coffee wasn't very good, but the food was satisfying! All of this for only a thousand yen. No wonder it's so popular! I recommend making a reservation.

It's a small shop, but has a cozy and friendly atmosphere. It was my first visit and I was alone, but I felt comfortable. They quickly served prosciutto and warm bread. Then, a plate with salad and a small portion of three types of tapas was served. The salad portion was generous, which was nice. The paella was a small portion, about the size of a rice bowl, but it had two prawns, squid, small mussels, and clams. If you feel the portion is not enough, you can adjust by adding more prosciutto and bread. The taste was delicious! The hot coffee after the meal was also unique and tasty. I sat at the counter since I was alone, but there were bright table seats on the second floor with a skylight. They also have several affiliated shops. If you like Spanish cuisine or want to try something a little different, I recommend this place.
