The concept is fun, but the flavors lacked punch and I was hoping for more variety. The dishes were enjoyable but the flavors were more on the safe side than I expected. However, everything was delicious so there were no disappointments. The grilled tripe is unique and highly recommended. The wine list mainly consists of natural wines, starting from 5,000 yen as stated on the menu, but all the wines we ordered were over 8,000 yen. The Bordeaux we tried was around 13,000 yen. The prices are not very budget-friendly. The staff is friendly in a moderate way, but it may be a hit or miss for some people. The ambiance is a nice blend of traditional Japanese style. The prices are not listed on the menu, but they were not too expensive. We ordered a bottle of wine for around 8,500 yen, skipped the main dishes, and the total bill for two of us was around 19,000 yen. I think the basic idea is to order for two people, with cold appetizers around 1,000 yen each and hot dishes around 1,500 yen each. They also split the dishes for sharing. Here is a brief overview of the dishes we tried: - Turnip Surinagashi (appetizer) - Smoked trout sushi potato salad - Kumquat, Madu Kelulut, Stracciatella - Chicken wings, Salsiccia, Fried chicken - Black Mapo Tofu, Cilantro - Grilled tripe, Fermented cabbage, Dukkah - Bolognese, Dragon egg, Mixed noodles - Blankaforti 2020 (wine) Overall, the dishes were enjoyable, with some standouts like the Kumquat, Madu Kelulut, Stracciatella, and the Grilled tripe. The wine we ordered, Blankaforti 2020, was a Spanish blend with a good balance of tannins and easy to drink. I'm not a big fan of natural wines, so I asked the staff for recommendations.
