The side dishes were carefully prepared as well. As it is a Western-style restaurant, the basic principle of dining - ordering what you like and enjoying the meal - was evident here. Despite the bustling atmosphere with families and groups, it was understandable given the popularity of the casual dining experience. I would recommend the fry dishes (including cutlets) and the fillet steak. Sometimes you may pay a lot and be disappointed, learning a lesson in the process, while other times you may pay a modest amount and leave with change in your pocket, feeling satisfied. In Kyoto, we had sushi, sweets, and Japanese cuisine, so I was really craving Western food. We didn't have much information, but the restaurant turned out to be a great find. I had the hamburger set with demi-glace sauce for 2200 yen, and my partner had the same set with tomato sauce. The main hamburger was coarsely ground with a nice meaty texture. A real hamburger doesn't overflow with juices, and the sauce was plentiful and delicious. The rice, miso soup, salad, side of potatoes, and dressing were all meticulously prepared and tasted great. We got a complimentary soft drink for following them on Instagram, and I chose grapefruit juice. My partner, who loves sake, chose from the wide selection of Japanese sake. The first floor had counter seating, while the second floor had table seating. The counter seating seemed like a quiet place to enjoy your meal. Since everything is homemade, it may take some time before your order is served. If you're in a rush, be sure to check in advance.

I couldn't decide what to order, but since I had hamburg recently, I went with the omurice and cheese curry. The omurice had a fluffy and creamy egg on top, and when you cut into it, the half-cooked egg oozed out. It paired perfectly with the classic ketchup rice and was incredibly delicious. The baked cheese curry rice had a nice hint of burnt cheese flavor. It was piping hot and resembled a little bit of gratin. It was slightly spicy but very tasty. I noticed some people ordering the demiglace sauce omurice, so I'd like to try that next time.

I felt a sophisticated atmosphere like a high-end store, but when I actually visited, there were cozy table seats on the second floor where even families with children could enjoy. It was very comfortable. I had an omelette rice with a huge, creamy egg like never before. The combination with demi-glace sauce was excellent and satisfied both my heart and stomach.

It was a one drink minimum. It is located in a calm residential area. They seem to be particular about their ingredients. Today, I ordered the omurice. Inside, it was more of a tomato rice than ketchup rice, and it also had cheese in it! I could feel their attention to detail. Of course, it was very delicious. The demi-glace sauce was rich and deep, with a mature flavor. It's a bit bitter. I thought I would come back to try their meat dishes next time.

The sirloin steak looked good but was tough and full of gristle, making it difficult to eat. I was surprised that they would charge over 3000 yen for such poor quality meat. On this day, we went to Kyoto Western Cuisine Matsumoto to celebrate a friend's birthday. We ordered steak, which was made with A5 grade meat. The marbling was excellent and it was very delicious! The cooking was just right, making it the perfect birthday celebration!
