I came here because I wanted to eat temari sushi near the station. It wasn't too crowded and I was seated right away. I came alone, but the atmosphere was welcoming. I arrived around 8:00 pm on a weekday for dinner. There were about 5 seats at the counter and 3 tables for 4 people. Two of the counter seats and two table seats had a view of Kyoto's night scenery. The food came out fairly quickly. The staff explained the various tempura, temari sushi, and side dishes in detail. I had the Gion set for dinner (3200 yen), and I think the quantity and quality make it a good value. It's a bit more affordable for lunch. I recommend it to those who want to easily enjoy temari sushi.

I arrived around 11:15 and waited for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. You can choose your favorite sushi and tempura. They were cute and delicious in mini size. Three types of salt come with it: matcha, izumo, and brown rice. We shared and tried many varieties. If you upload it to Tabelog, you will receive a matcha cake.

I had the Gion Set menu at Miyako for dinner. The appetizer was a Japanese-style compote, but the crab felt a bit too salty. The tomatoes and bell peppers were delicious. The tempura included four types of tempura, specialty tempura, three types of salt (matcha salt, yuzu salt, brown rice tea salt), hand-rolled sushi, three types of side dishes, and various small dishes beautifully arranged. It seems to be a popular restaurant with customers coming in one after another. What's strange is that the tempura is crispy but not very hot (is it cold?). When I eat freshly made tempura at a tempura restaurant counter, it's usually warm...

I went up the elevator at Isetan and arrived at the 11th floor restaurant area where there was a tempura and hand-rolled sushi restaurant. When I arrived around 2pm on a weekday, there was a line and I had to wait for about an hour. I ordered a set of 5 hand-rolled sushi and 5 pieces of tempura. There were about 10 varieties of hand-rolled sushi and tempura to choose from. I also had the option to choose from 3 types of tea.

I finally got to visit this place that I've been curious about for a while. It's definitely Instagram-worthy! Each dish was delicious in its own way. The tempura and hand-rolled sushi were both elaborately prepared and tasty. The rice in the hand-rolled sushi was also delicious. The menu was full of Kyoto charm.

Tempura and Hand-Pressed Sushi Set (9 types of vegetable tempura, 5 types of hand-pressed sushi, clear soup, Japanese tea, dessert) We have created a set where you can enjoy all types of vegetable tempura and choose your favorite types of hand-pressed sushi. Each vegetable tempura has a different batter and sauce, making it visually and tastefully enjoyable.

I received the Gion Night Set. It was a cute set with a Kyoto-like, Instagrammable vibe, priced at 3520 yen. There were many young women around. Honestly, I felt that the cost performance wasn't great for this amount. So, next time, I plan to visit during lunchtime. Thank you for the meal.

It took quite a bit of time, so it's recommended to arrive early. I arrived at 10:30 am, 30 minutes before the weekday opening, and waited. By 10:35 am, the next person arrived, and by 10:40 am, the line started to get longer, with about 15 people waiting by opening time. At 11 am, I was the first to be seated. The compact restaurant had 4 counter seats and 4 four-person tables. I ordered the "Miyako" course which included 9 pieces of vegetable tempura and 5 pieces of hand-pressed sushi, along with a draft beer. My food arrived at 11:20 am, with only 3 groups seated in the restaurant. By 11:40 am, when I left, there were 4 more groups seated, but only 2 had received their food. The service was surprisingly slow, with only 8 people seated in total. The tempura was crispy and flavorful, and the hand-pressed sushi was decent. However, the portion size was small for the price. The tea was included in the course, but there were additional options at a higher price. Overall, the pricing was high for the portion size. The service was okay, but for this price, there are better options with better value and shorter wait times in the same building or nearby. This review is not favorable, but it was my experience.

I arrived at the restaurant shortly after it opened at the end of the year, but there was already a line of customers, and I had to wait for about 2 hours. However, the wait was worth it! I have never seen such cute food before! The dishes had a lot of variety and each one was created with such attention to detail, with unique flavors in each. It was clear that a lot of care went into preparing the dishes.

I came to the store with my child. I always wanted to try this place but the line was always long, so I gave up. Today, I decided to wait in line from noon, expecting a long wait. The wait was longer than I thought, but the food was delicious. I wish I could have tried more of the beautifully presented dishes. I'll definitely go again when I have more time.

I visited this restaurant during my trip and wanted to try something Kyoto-like. After researching, I found this place! The dishes were colorful and cute, just like I saw on social media! The tempura and temari-zushi had different seasonings, so I could enjoy a variety of flavors in one meal!

I was curious about the cute menu and decided to go, but the waiting time was quite long. The restaurant had 4 table seats and 4 counter seats, so it was not spacious, which made the wait even longer. I was getting really hungry when the food finally arrived. I ordered the "Tofu Set" which included 9 types of vegetable tempura and hand-rolled sushi with 5 varieties. The tempura came with three types of salt: rock salt, yuzu salt, and matcha salt. The presentation was lovely and the tempura was delicious, especially with the added salt. Everything was bite-sized, so I finished it quickly. The one-bite matcha dessert was also tasty. I want to believe that the waiting time was not in vain. By the way, if you write a review on Tabelog or Google, you will receive a complimentary matcha cake. I hurried to write one!

I lined up 10 minutes before the store opened and there was already a long line. It was a weekend, so that might have contributed, but I was surprised. The store was smaller than I thought, and unfortunately, I couldn't get in at the first seating. It takes a bit of time for the food to come out after ordering, so it's not suitable for those in a hurry. The dishes were very cute and I finished them in no time. It seems to be popular among girls for its Instagrammable appearance. It's located in a station building, so it's easy to get to, which is also appealing.

I found this restaurant by searching for "Kyoto Station lunch". I was attracted to the cute presentation of the dishes. It's conveniently located near the station on the 11th floor of The Cube, connected to Isetan. Around six groups were waiting around noon on a weekday. The number of seats is limited, but the turnover rate is not too bad. I waited for about 30 minutes. I was happy to see that the lunch set allows you to choose from three options based on how much you want to eat. I decided to order the Gion set with everything. It was so cute! The hand-pressed sushi and tempura were each accompanied by various condiments, making the presentation enjoyable as well. The tempura had a sophisticated batter and came with three types of salt. The set also included three side dishes, clear soup, and a small dessert. The bite-sized portions were easy to eat. This kind of meal would definitely appeal to girls. By the way, I thought the presentation was really elaborate and Instagrammable, and the fact that you can try a variety of dishes in small portions was really nice. As for the taste, honestly, it was just okay. The tempura batter and the seasoning of the sushi were delicate and refined, not very bold in flavor (whispers). This is just my personal opinion... Thank you for the meal~

Gion Set for 2750 yen was cute, Instagrammable, with a great view and good location. However, there were various types of tempura which caused some to be cold by the time you got to them. It was a bit disappointing that most of the tempura had cooled down. For the price, I expected to be able to eat something tastier.

I went near the last order time on a weekday, so there was only one staff member in the hall and even though the restaurant was empty, I was not guided at all. Furthermore, our orders (2x) for 4 people with separate payments, and the food orders were constantly being pushed back. It seems like they can't assign someone from the kitchen to assist with serving. The hall and kitchen seem to be completely separate, and there is no cross-over help. It's kind of like a Kyoto-style restaurant. The taste and presentation were nice, but it's a shame. I don't think I'll go back again.

I had a delicious lunch at a stylish restaurant. By 10:30, before the opening, there was already one group waiting. As soon as they opened, it was full. There were three lunch options, and I ordered the most luxurious one for 2,500 yen. It was very delicious.

I went to Miyako in the Kyoto Station building because I wanted to eat their hand-rolled sushi. There was a line with several groups waiting, so I patiently waited for a while. Finally, I got seated and was led to a table. There were also counter seats available, but I was happy with the spacious table seating. If I had to be picky, I would have preferred a window seat, but that can be something to look forward to next time. I ordered the Miyako set without hesitation. It didn't take long for the much-awaited Miyako set to arrive! It was exactly what I was hoping for - tempura and hand-rolled sushi! A truly Kyoto-style lunch. The freshly fried tempura was so crispy and delicious. There were plenty of seasonal vegetables and seafood. The bite-sized hand-rolled sushi was beautifully presented with a variety of colors. It almost felt like a shame to eat them because they were so pretty. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with this Kyoto-style lunch. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Today we had lunch at "Tempura and Temari Sushi Miyako" at Kyoto Station. We had trouble finding TheCUBE on the 11th floor, so we called and asked for directions. It turns out that TheCUBE is connected to the 11th floor of Isetan, so we arrived via Isetan. My parents ordered the "Gion Set" with all 14 types of tempura, while the kids ordered the "Tempura x Temari Sushi Set" with 5 choices of tempura and 5 choices of temari sushi. The kids chose corn, cherry tomato, salmon, pork, and egg yolk for their tempura. My second daughter likes salmon more than meat, so she chose two pieces of salmon. For their temari sushi, they chose chicken ham, duck prosciutto x2, inari x2. We asked to remove the spicy vinegar miso from the corn tempura, yuzu shichimi from the pork, and mustard seeds from the duck prosciutto. The tempura is fried in-store, so it takes a little time. The large windows in the restaurant offer a view of Kyoto from the 11th floor. The freshly fried tempura is crispy. Especially the Tanba shimeji mushroom tempura is incredibly crispy. I liked the eggplant and red miso the most. The kids liked the corn tempura, and my husband liked the pork. They particularly enjoyed the Inaburigakko & bonito flakes and the crunchy renkon & hijiki rice temari sushi. We read that if we post a review on Google or Tabelog, we will receive a free ice cream after the meal, so we posted a review on Tabelog. (We received one vanilla ice cream for one review). Thank you for the meal. #KyotoStationGourmet #KyotoStationLunch #KyotoStationDirectAccess #KyotoStationBuildingRestaurant #KyotoStationTheCUBE #TheCUBE #TempuraandTemariSushi #TempuraandTemariSushiMiyako #KyotoTempura
