Fish Kin series is a reliable and reasonably priced option that you can't go wrong with in Shinbashi. Today, after feeling unsettled from my previous meal at Celts, I decided to give the new branch of Fish Kin a try. I finally got a seat as the last order was approaching. I quickly ordered a variety of dishes based on my instincts. The sashimi was solid, and the dashi roll did not disappoint. The bitter melon tempura, tofu dishes, and seafood were all on point. While there was nothing particularly fancy or innovative, the food was reliable. I look forward to starting my next night out here.

When I come to Shinbashi, I often go to Uokin. This new store was my first visit. After finishing my business with a friend from college, I met up with another friend. We ordered a sashimi platter, clams, and a drooling drink, among other things. I forgot to take a picture, but we also ordered sushi. The sashimi at Uokin is always reassuring to order because it is thickly sliced and comes in a generous portion. The sushi was also satisfying in terms of quantity. The restaurant interior was nicely designed, with a cozy sunken kotatsu seating for four people, allowing us to enjoy our meal comfortably. Uokin in Shinbashi is a must-visit.

Hanakin in Shinbashi was bustling with salarymen. The fresh sashimi, recommended seaweed tofu, and grilled sea bream head were all delicious. The conversation was so lively that we didn't even have time to order our final dish in the quick two hours.

The appetizers, tamatebako, water dumplings, octopus balls, fried horse mackerel, and garlic fried rice were all delicious at this fun and affordable restaurant. I upgraded to an iPhone13 and now I feel like I'm taking better photos. The atmosphere made me want to drink alcohol. The fried horse mackerel was especially tasty!✨

I visited on a Saturday evening. It was quite busy with a lot of customers, but we were able to get in smoothly. I had tried a few other restaurants in the same chain, but they were all full so I was glad we could get a table here. They had a wide variety of drinks. From the appetizers to the sashimi and grilled rice balls, everything was delicious.

Despite being in the middle of Golden Week, the salaryman district of Shinbashi was surprisingly crowded! I made a reservation, but the place quickly filled up with customers arriving from 5 pm onwards. The turnover rate was impressive, with the restaurant becoming full in no time. Both restaurants in the "Uogashi" group have always been delicious, and they did not disappoint this time either. The lineup of Japanese sake was fantastic. I chose the recommended dishes for today along with some classic sashimi. The steamed oysters served as an appetizer were delicious. The seaweed and green onion salad had a nice crunchy texture and the dressing complemented it well. I really liked it. The anchovy cabbage dish paired well with the sourness. I wanted to try the horse mackerel fry, but it was sold out, so I had the sardine fry instead, which was large and tasty. The "treasure chest" sashimi platter was extremely satisfying with a variety of fresh sashimi, including rolled sushi. I enjoyed Japanese sake from Iwate and Miyagi, one fruity and the other crisp and refreshing. It was a perfectly balanced two-hour dining experience.

I walked from Yurakucho looking for a place to eat, but couldn't find a good restaurant. Even when I did find one, I couldn't go in. I ended up walking all the way to Shinbashi. There are many Uogashi restaurants there, so I felt relieved and went in. As always, the sashimi and sake were excellent. It was close to closing time, but I had a great time.

I always thought it would be impossible to make it on the same day, but I wanted to spend the hour before the pre-party with some delicious fish, so I decided to give it a try. I made a quick call and asked, "Hello, can we come in for just one hour from 16:30 to 17:30 with 3 people?" The response was, "We have availability until 18:00." I replied, "We'll be there right away!" The seaweed tofu was indeed delicious, and the sashimi was also very tasty! I thought it would be a 3-piece assortment, but it turned out to be this much! The three of us each had a beer and a sour, and the bill came out to just under 10,000 yen. It's a well-known restaurant, so I guess the prices are reasonable. I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal.

You can enjoy seasonal fresh fish dishes and exquisite Japanese sake at this place! They offer a variety of fish dishes with generous portions and excellent freshness. Ordering the 6-piece sashimi special will actually get you 12 pieces, following the "Uokindori" style! All the fish is delicious and fresh. I highly recommend trying the simmered golden eye snapper, it's amazing. This recommended izakaya is known for its quality fish and reasonable prices. Thank you for the wonderful meal! ✨.

【Uogane Shinbashi】・Tokyo: Just a 1-minute walk from Shinbashi Station, Karasumori exit, after enjoying sushi at Sushinosuke and hyakusai, we headed to the famous "Uogane Shinbashi" in Shinbashi! Since we were already full and oden was served as an appetizer, we only ordered the daily pickled mackerel and dashimaki tamago for food, and I forgot what sake we ordered, but it was a dry one (laughs). As expected of a popular restaurant, the taste was great with no misses and the cost performance was good, so when we visited, we were lucky to find only two seats available at the counter (^-^). Next time, I would like to enjoy drinking properly while savoring the food at the first place we visit. Thank you for the meal~・Daily pickled mackerel (Japanese horse mackerel)・Dashimaki tamago・Oden (appetizer)・Dry sake (I forgot the name)

I went to a well-known restaurant with a friend from Singapore who was in town on business. They offer a variety of delicious seafood at very reasonable prices, so it's no surprise that the place was fully packed after 6pm. The dishes are quite standard but very tasty. I need to try the daily specials next time for a more adventurous experience!

Fish Kin, a popular izakaya in Shinbashi Station, has expanded its store due to its overwhelming popularity. The interior of the restaurant is interestingly laid out, somewhat like a maze. The back area with raised seating has a great atmosphere, feeling somewhat secluded. When you visit here, you must choose the sashimi platter. The assortment of thickly cut sashimi served generously on a large plate is truly impressive. The freshness is outstanding, especially the yellowtail. Just nibbling on this sashimi for a while will make you feel happy. Truly, Fish Kin is top-notch in terms of ingredients and cooking level.

Fish Kin, it's been a long time since I last visited! As expected, the deliciousness, volume, and cost performance did not disappoint. Each dish has a generous portion, making it perfect for sharing with a group of about 4 people.

The sashimi platter is a must-order, with thick and fresh slices that are sure to make you happy. The grilled fish is surprisingly large and packed with flavor, while the menchi katsu is juicy and tender. The garlic fried rice is the perfect way to end the meal with its strong garlic flavor. Overall, a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience at Fish Kin.

I am staying in Tokyo for seminars, meetings, and studying. My meeting on Tuesday got canceled, so I ended up doing office work at the hotel and then walked to Shinbashi for dinner. I went to Uokin for the first time to study. When I walked in around 7 pm on Tuesday, I was seated at the counter and ordered a draft beer. For my meal, I ordered the simmered red snapper and grilled amberjack collar. As I was enjoying the appetizer of tofu fish with mushroom sauce, the simmered red snapper arrived. It was cooked in a sweet sauce and was surprisingly delicious and tender. Next, the grilled amberjack collar arrived, and it was a generous portion with both the collar and head included. Before I knew it, the restaurant was full of reserved customers! Their good value for money must be bringing in the customers!

This was my first visit to this new restaurant. I arrived around 4:30 pm without a reservation. There was only one other group at the counter seats, and the atmosphere felt a bit dull with only one chef and what seemed to be a new server. Despite this, I was looking forward to the delicious food. However, the next person who came in turned out to be an employee and immediately called out to the chef over our heads at the counter, asking for staff meal. It was unacceptable. Although I was feeling annoyed, I waited for the food to arrive. When the sashimi platter in a box was served, the new server just left it there without any explanation. When I asked for one, the male employee who ordered the staff meal provided the explanation. They should have been trained to explain without being asked. The photo is of the complimentary meat and potato dish, which was burnt. It was noticeably burnt on top, so there's no way they didn't notice when plating it. I was so disappointed that I left in less than an hour. I should have waited to go to the main branch instead. I will never visit this new restaurant again.
There are several branches of Uogane in Shinbashi, but I decided to come to this one because there was an available reservation on Tabelog. I didn't really need to make a reservation though, it's only 4 o'clock haha. I sat at the counter and ordered beer and a sashimi platter. The complimentary meatball soup had plenty of mushrooms in it, which was nice. The sashimi slices were large! I made a mistake with the sake though, I ordered the wrong one - a blue bottle from Fukui called "Bom". It was slightly sweet, had a nice aroma, and I liked it. I also added eggplant and sardines as snacks. And that wraps up my time here! ♫

The Uokin series is known to get fully booked quickly, so it's best to make a reservation in advance. The tempura, namero, and sushi were all delicious.

On Sunday night, I visited "Uogane Shin-ten" located about a 3-minute walk from Shinbashi Station. When talking about izakayas in Shinbashi, Uogane cannot be missed. The restaurant has about 40 seats, including table seating and counter seating. Like other Uogane branches, the interior is clean and has a traditional Japanese feel, although the space between seats may be a bit tight.
The menu is mainly focused on seafood dishes, including grilled, fried, and simmered options. They also offer seasonal specialties. We started with a toast of draft beer and ordered the following dishes:
- "Tamatebako" (assorted sashimi)
- Pickled cabbage
- Lettuce salad with plenty of whitebait
- Cheese-stuffed fried tofu
- Oden (Japanese hot pot)
- Large serving of seaweed tofu
We were surprised to receive a complimentary crab cream croquette as a starter, which was a first for me at an izakaya. The sashimi was fresh and included oysters, which was a rare treat. The seaweed tofu is a must-order at Uogane, with its rich seaweed-infused soup and large tofu block. It's a simple yet delicious dish that you can't get enough of. It's the perfect way to end the meal.
Overall, Uogane delivered as expected with their seafood dishes. The seaweed tofu is a must-try. Thank you for the meal.
