Visited for the first time around 10:00 am on a Saturday in May 2022. "Okaffe ROASTING PARK" is a unique space opened by the well-known barista Mr. Okada, who has experience winning competitions. It is a roasting facility and a little cafe combined, located in a renovated former lumber store. The main focus seems to be on selling coffee beans, but there is also a spacious area outside the shop with a large roof and terrace seating, allowing for dining in. I purchased the Dandy Blend (dark roast) for 500 yen and an O-Canule for 350 yen at the counter. The staff carefully brewed the coffee and prepared the Canule, which I took outside and up the stairs to the terrace seating. I had the whole space to myself at that time, with a pleasant breeze and music playing, creating the perfect relaxing atmosphere. The Dandy Blend had a flavor that I really enjoyed, and the O-Canule was also delicious while still warm. I spent about 30 minutes leisurely enjoying my time there. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I was intrigued by the fact that this cafe was located in a place where you wouldn't expect it to be, and its exterior made me question if it really was a cafe! There were only terrace seats available, but it was a cozy space with blankets and background music provided. The staff were friendly and the latte and financiers were delicious. I will definitely visit again!

A cafe in Kyoto that also serves delicious coffee roasted on-site. They offer a variety of baked goods as well! You can enjoy your treats inside the cafe or outside on the fully occupied terrace. The wooden terrace on the second floor is stylish and very cozy. I tried a cafe latte, butter sandwich, chocolate au canel, and hazelnut tart. The cafe latte was authentic and the baked goods were delicious! They also had canele available that day as a special treat. The chocolate butter sandwich was not too sweet, and I really liked the nut-filled tart.

A cafe where you can enjoy delicious coffee with a roasting facility. It's a famous barista's shop. They serve cafe au lait with butter sandwich, canele, and tart. The cafe au lait and baked goods look beautiful and taste delicious. There are plenty of cafes in Kyoto that offer delicious coffee and baked goods. There is seating inside the cafe, but the outdoor seating is cute and playful. The second-floor seating area is made of wood and has an open feeling. It's recommended to have tea time here on a sunny day.

Before 1 o'clock on Monday. I visited following the flow from Leohne. I recently learned that this place is on Wakamiya Street, not Kamaza Street. This time, I had a café latte and a financière. They filled the cup to the brim, so I had to be careful carrying it upstairs. I enjoyed my latte and sweets slowly in the refreshing breeze that blew through. Perhaps because it was early, I had the luxury of having the spacious area all to myself. As the movie time approached, I wrapped up casually and went downstairs, where a young female pair came up. After that, a white couple arrived, and surprisingly, there were quite a few customers even though it was midday on a weekday.

The store had a warm design with wooden elements, creating a calming atmosphere. There were indoor seats for about 4 people, as well as outdoor seating with benches and sofa seats, making it spacious. I chose to sit outdoors, which felt open and refreshing. I ordered the seasonal tart (cassis) and cold brew iced coffee. The tart had a sweet potato-like crust and was very delicious. The iced coffee was easy to drink and paired well with the tart! I also tried the creme brulee my friend ordered, and it was also delicious. I recommend this place for a relaxing time.

I wanted to get some coffee beans, so I visited this place recommended by a friend who loves coffee. They are open until 5 pm, so I finished my previous errands quickly and headed over. The building looked like a factory at first glance, but there were plenty of terrace seats, making it a trendy spot that would appeal to Instagrammers. There were only a couple of indoor seats, so it might not be ideal on rainy or cold days. I tried the Star Blend, which was described as a medium-dark roast, but I could still taste a significant acidity. When you buy 250g of beans, you get a free cup of coffee, so I also tried the Dandy Blend after purchasing some beans. It had no acidity and a very clear taste! The staff mentioned that it was a super dark roast that older men might drink at a coffee shop, but I found it much more enjoyable than Starbucks coffee. The cakes were delicious too. I would love to visit again to buy more coffee beans.

After sushi, it's coffee time. I happened to stumble upon this shop while taking a walk. I enjoyed a blend coffee and relaxed in the cozy atmosphere. It's not too crowded even during cherry blossom season, so it's a great spot to take a break when visiting Kyoto.

My husband, who loves coffee, wanted to visit this shop♡ Kyoto has many delicious coffee shops. This shop is a coffee shop that also serves as a roastery, run by the most famous barista in Japan, Akihiro Okada. He has won numerous titles both domestically and internationally, including the 2008-09 Japan Barista Championship. He used to work as the chief barista at Ogawa Coffee but opened his own cafe near Shijo Karasuma on February 14, 2022. When you enter the shop, you will first see the in-house roasting machine on the right. You order at the counter right inside the entrance, pay first, and then take your order to your seat in a self-service system. ■ Star Blend Although I usually only go to Starbucks, I opted for a simple coffee here. It is a dark roast but not bitter, easy to drink, aromatic, and delicious. ■ Butter Sandwich (An Butter) A butter sandwich made with red bean paste from a long-established Kyoto confectionery. The shortbread is crispy and crumbly. The refined red bean butter goes very well with the coffee. I wish they sold this online♥ My husband liked it and bought some coffee beans. We don't go to Kyoto often, but if we have the chance, we would like to stop by again. Thank you for the meal☆彡

There are several ocaffe roasters in Kyoto where you can buy coffee beans and enjoy a free cup of coffee. The seating inside is limited, but there are enough seats including the terrace. It would be nice to enjoy your coffee on the terrace when it gets warmer. I visited to buy coffee beans, and the beans I bought were delicious. It was a light-bodied coffee with a good aroma and easy to drink. I would like to purchase it again if I have the chance.

A revisit and the most satisfying Rwandan coffee so far. It has a bright, apple-like acidity that leads to a hint of sweet notes in the aftertaste, reminiscent of peaches. The dry, deep sweetness of compote and raisins typical of Rwanda is also subtly present. The aroma is not very strong, but the taste is truly subtle. The seasonal tart features apple and sweet potato, so the apple element is very prominent. Delicious. Perfect.

The open sphere, which was created by slightly renovating a previous woodworking workshop, was incredibly interesting! It was a unique space like no other, with a high roof that allowed for a variety of activities such as reading, relaxing in the sun, or seeking shade behind the round walls. The bright light streaming in through the open ceiling created a serene atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a peaceful autumn afternoon. It was a day to take a break, to feel the passing season gently touch our lives. Instead of seeking out distant views, it's sometimes better to appreciate the simple beauty of the changing light right in front of us. And, by the way, the coffee from the Dominican Republic has a lovely rose scent and tastes delicious.

Visited on a Sunday around 8 o'clock. The place was empty the whole time until I left. I entered, placed my order and paid at the counter. When my order was ready, I received it on a tray and climbed the stairs to the secret base-like eat-in space outside. After finishing my meal, I returned the tray to the counter inside the store. I ordered the following two items this time: - Cafe Latte Hot (550 yen) - Butter Sandwich with Red Bean Paste (420 yen) The cafe latte with lovely latte art was easy to drink. The butter sandwich was a perfect sweet treat to go with the latte. Everything, from the tray to the butter sandwich, the mug, and the shop card, had a cute logo of a star mark on them. I wanted to try the canelé as well, but it seems like they are sold irregularly... They didn't have any available that day, so I'll have to come back for a rematch.

Visited around 13:30 after lunch. I had high expectations for Okaffe's roastery, and it exceeded them. Despite being in the middle of the town of Kanamori, the space is quite large due to its former use as a lumber shop. The store is set back a bit, giving the impression of a retail space, but you can also dine in. There are tables outside (under a high roof) and upstairs there is a spacious area that can accommodate more than 10 people, with a counter, sofas, and a raised platform. The coffee, of course, is delicious. It pairs well with the butter sandwich. It was relaxing to sit in the refreshing breeze. If it's not too busy, I would like to visit again.

I ordered a takeout ice cafe au lait and cherry butter sandwich. The building had a lot of wood and felt open and the staff were friendly and engaging. The butter sandwich was not too sweet and rich, with a crispy galette. The cafe au lait was also delicious. I'd like to try the cafe seats on the second floor next time.

I visited Okaffe ROASTING PARK in Gojo. I had been wanting to go there since I enjoyed the atmosphere in Arashiyama. I ordered a milk pour-over coffee and a butter sandwich, and enjoyed them in a relaxed atmosphere with a nice view of Gojo from the second floor.

Located about a 10-minute walk from Gojo Station, this roastery is run by Okada, the champion of the Japan Barista Championship. You can order and pay first, then choose your favorite seat. You can enjoy your treats at the tables outside the shop or in the indoor seating area. The covered terrace seating is open and very pleasant! I ordered the Butter Sand Dark Cherry for ¥420, the O-Cannele for ¥350, and the Cafe Latte for ¥550. The Dark Cherry Butter Sand has a slightly mature taste, while the Cannele is crispy and chewy. The gentle Cafe Latte and leisurely time were enjoyed in the open space. Having snacks and latte in such a setting was truly special. It was delicious. Thank you. I will definitely visit again.

Located in Kyoto, this coffee roastery was recently opened by the famous barista Mr. Okada, who won the Japan Barista Championship in 2008 and 2009. The space is stylishly designed and renovated from a corner of an old lumber shop run by Mr. Okada's childhood friend. The outdoor DIY second floor space resembling a treehouse is also lovely, with tables and step seats for enjoying different scenes. The crispy surface and moist sweet inside of the Cannele (350 yen) pairs well with the slightly acidic coffee (400 yen). It was a relaxing day in the warm weather.

This is a cafe registered as a roastery terrace where you can also buy beans. It has gained a lot of attention from various media and influencers. I stopped by because it's easy to get to. The cafe latte was mild and likely to be popular with everyone. It has a very smooth taste that many people would enjoy. I stumbled a bit on the stairs, but the free pour was impressive. The butter sandwich sweets seemed to be supplied from a related store. I chose the red bean butter, which would go well with drip coffee. The portion size was reasonable. I also took home a canelé, which was still freshly baked and quite good. The atmosphere reminded me of the now-closed Nandemonja Cafe, with a tree house-like bench where I could sit in and also purchased some beans. As I mentioned at the beginning, it's already quite popular, so it might get crowded on weekends. The morning seemed like a good time to visit.

I heard that a new cafe had opened, so I stopped by on my way home. It was probably the second day since the opening. I ordered a cafe latte and anko butter sandwich. While they were being made, I chatted a bit, carefully carrying them up to the second floor once they were ready. The open space was inviting, and I enjoyed a warm cafe latte while eating the cookie sandwich. This season is perfect for this kind of atmosphere.

Originally a lumber shop, Okaffe serves coffee made from lightly roasted beans. Today's coffee was a perfect break. The second floor space is open and airy, allowing you to feel the breeze and relax. So nice!
