A restaurant located a 3-minute walk from Itabashi Station, specializing in game meat dishes with a variety of meats to enjoy. I had never gotten off at Itabashi Station before, but this restaurant gave me a reason to do so! Grateful for the invitation. [Features] The restaurant was opened by a chef who trained at the popular and hard-to-reserve restaurant "Nikuyama" in Kichijoji. In addition to beef and pork, you can also enjoy meats such as lamb, duck, and deer that you don't often have the opportunity to eat! [Menu] - Chef's Selection Meat Course (4,800 yen) I was looking forward to trying the game meat dishes. They first bring out a boat platter with the ingredients they will be using that day, which is incredibly impressive! It makes you even more excited for the following dishes. The meats are cooked by the staff and brought to you with different seasonings, all of which were juicy and delicious with minimal gamey taste. If you love game meats, be sure to visit this place! ♡

As far as I can remember, it was my first visit in 7 years on a Saturday at 5:00 PM without a reservation, and there were no other guests. I was seated at a table on the first floor. I remember that the main dish used to be "beef," but now they have a double cast of "game meat." I ordered a draft beer and started fighting with the menu! First, I had a platter of "boar, deer, and lamb" with 4 slices of each, all delicious without any gamey taste. The boar had a sweet fatty taste! The "spicy mix hormone half" with marinade sauce was excellent, and it went well with beer. The "harami" was also delicious, with tender meat and a tasty marinade. The "raw spring chrysanthemum salad" with sprinkles made from dashi broth was the best meat appetizer I have ever had! The "three types of kimchi" were just good kimchi, not too spicy, suitable for Japanese taste. During this time, I had another draft beer and even tried a highball. The "mino and crunchy" (hatsumoto) with a light salt seasoning had a great texture. The "mino sashimi" had an irresistible texture. The carbonated drinks disappeared quickly. The "bean sprout namul" was a normal bean sprout namul, but the seasoning was delicious. The "duck breast" had a moist meat quality, and homemade dishes are always different. We grilled all the meats on the table grill. It was fun to enjoy changing the grilling level a little. The heavy-drinking team had quite a few refills of sake and highballs. For dessert, we chose the "wagyu misuji with sea urchin topping," where they grilled the meat to perfection on the counter grill and topped it with sea urchin. It was incredibly delicious. We also shared the "special egg over rice," which had a light sesame oil aroma and was just the right amount to share. Thank you for the feast. We stayed for about 2 hours, and the restaurant was fully packed. It was a paradise where you could enjoy delicious meat with great cost performance.

I made a reservation at this restaurant that I've been curious about with my friends because we wanted to eat meat. I decided to go with the course meal that includes all-you-can-drink, which costs 7,280 yen per person. It turned out to be a great choice because the drink selection for the all-you-can-drink option was impressive. They had a variety of options including sake, plum wine, and more, which made it a better deal compared to other places. They served high-quality meats and spices from Kumamoto, Hokkaido, Tochigi, Thailand, and Tasmania, and each dish really brought out the flavor of the meat. It was definitely worth the price, and I will be visiting this place again for sure when I have the chance!

It's been a while, but they still provided delicious meat. I couldn't try the Tsukinowaguma because it's a seasonal item, but I enjoyed the Tama pork kalbi and loin as the main dishes. They were tender, sweet, and delicious. I finished with a premium TKG, and it was a very satisfying meal. The taste was consistently good.

□Shop Features□ - The yakitori course is cooked by the staff at the restaurant. - In addition to courses, a la carte options are also available. - Various types of meat such as deer and duck can be enjoyed. - The all-you-can-drink option includes drinks like Hakushu and Chita whisky. □Reservation□ - I made a reservation on Tabelog the day before. □Access□ - About a 5-minute walk from JR Itabashi Station. □Ordered Items□ - Yakitori course (with all-you-can-drink) for 8380 yen. □Impressions□ I visited "Nikukoya Itabashi Honten," run by the owner who trained at "Nikuyama," located about a 5-minute walk from JR Itabashi Station. I heard that delicious meat could be enjoyed here, so I decided to visit. I opted for the recommended yakitori course with all-you-can-drink. It was my first visit. Upon arrival at the restaurant, I received an explanation of the all-you-can-drink menu and was introduced to the day's ingredients. It seems that various ingredients such as beef, pork, and deer are available. While the variety of the all-you-can-drink menu is not extensive, it was nice to see rare whiskies like Hakushu and Chita Highball included. However, there was only one type of sake available for all-you-can-drink. The meat was all exquisite, cooked to perfection in the yakitori course. There is also a self-cook course available, but I recommend the yakitori course as the professional touch makes a difference. The meat can be enjoyed simply with salt or topped with sea urchin, offering a range of flavors that truly highlight the deliciousness of the meat. I think it's a fantastic course and I will definitely visit again.

It's not as spacious as it looks in the photos. The first floor has a counter for two pairs at most, and two four-person tables. There is also a second floor. The regular customers are mostly meat lovers and the atmosphere is calm. There are no loud talkers, which is nice. The three types of game meat are delicious, especially the lamb. The wine is also affordable, making it a good restaurant.

I first visited Niku Koya (Meat House) about 2-3 years ago when I moved to Itabashi Ward. The meat here is delicious and the staff is friendly, making it my favorite spot! The uni (sea urchin) is cheap (almost at cost price!) so I always add it as a topping! I wasn't a big fan of uni before, but I started liking it after trying it here. It's also great that they serve game meat! I tried the crocodile meat on this day, and it was delicious!

It has been 2 years since my last visit and this time I also had the grilled course. I've only ever ordered the grilled course, but I think this course is definitely better. You can enjoy it slowly and it's cooked by a professional, so of course it's delicious. The appetizers were mini tomatoes, kimchi, cucumber, and white asparagus. The white asparagus was especially delicious, so sweet! Next was horse sashimi from Kumamoto, which was also amazing. The freshness is key for horse sashimi, and it was very fresh and tasty. Then there was Tokyo pork (I forgot the name a little), which was full of flavor and sweetness when you chewed it. It was delicious. We enjoyed it with Shinsei Ecru, which is highly rated at this restaurant. Ecru is a sake that can be paired with dishes from the No.6 series, and it has a taste that I think goes well with the rich pork. Next was the tongue, which was also delicious with a great texture. This also goes well with sake! Then we enjoyed Yamanashi's Nana Ken with the dish. I wonder if this also goes well with the food. Next was venison! I've only ever had venison here, but it's delicious and doesn't have any gamey taste. It's quite different from the public image, I think. According to my friend, venison without a gamey taste like this is rare. It was served with truffle butter, which was a perfect match. The intense aroma of truffle spread through the nose and it was wonderful. We then had Ezo pork sausage, lamb, duck, and sirloin one after another. All the meats were delicious. The sausage was full of meaty flavor and not gamey at all, it was great. The lamb and duck were oily and the taste of the meat spread in the mouth. And finally, the sirloin! With fresh sea urchin on top! It was amazing! It's probably quite lean, but it's so tender! The meat fibers are easily cut through. It's super tender, not greasy, and delicious. We had sea urchin on the second slice. It was amazing, with sea urchin coating the meat, spreading the delicious flavor of the meat followed by the sea urchin's delightful aroma in the mouth, a perfect marriage. Finally, we had a raw sake from Dansawa Mountain in Kanagawa. It's a light sake with only 13% alcohol, so it's easy to drink. A young waiter explained various things about sake. He was very friendly, good-looking, and a wonderful waiter. When the service is good, you really want to come back! For the finishing touch, we had truffle TKG or beef tendon curry. I've had TKG twice before, so this time I had curry. The curry was delicious! It was really tasty, with the flavor and sweetness of beef tendon spreading through the curry, it was great. The taste was spicy, but I think it's a curry that anyone can eat. My friend ordered TKG, so I had a little taste, and it was also amazing! The truffle spreads in your mouth and you just want to keep eating it. Every dish that came out was delicious. I think I'll go back again soon.

The mixed game meat platter with wild boar, deer, and sheep, and the mixed lamb and beef platter were ordered. The kimchi duck arrived a bit late, after we had finished eating the duck. For those who come for barbecue, there is a limited selection of cuts like kalbi, tongue, and loin, so if you want to enjoy both drinking and meat, it's okay.

Today, I eagerly arrived at the restaurant wanting to eat some meat. Even though it was past 8 pm when I visited, the place was almost full, showing its continued popularity. - The Premium Malt's (480 yen) First, let's quench our thirst with "The Premium Malt's" beer♪ Smooth and refreshing, cheers! - Assorted Hormone Meat When you come to a place like this, you can't miss out on the "Assorted Hormone Meat". So, let's go for the usual 300g+ portion! It includes various ingredients such as hormone, harami, mino, pork belly, onions, lotus root, eringi mushrooms, and garlic, all mixed together. The spicy sauce coats everything nicely, making it satisfying to eat. - Pork Tongue (650 yen) Next, let's have the "Pork Tongue"! By grilling it well, the flavor of the pork tongue becomes more concentrated. It's tender, juicy, and has a good bite to it! - Nagaimo Kimchi (650 yen) Choosing something you don't see often, the "Nagaimo Kimchi". The crunchy texture of nagaimo and the spiciness of kimchi complement each other perfectly. This could become addictive! Each piece is quite large, making it perfect for enjoying slowly. - Grilled Live Oysters on a Charcoal Stove (200 yen each) For a luxurious treat, let's have the "Grilled Live Oysters on a Charcoal Stove from Hyogo Prefecture"! Grilling fresh live oysters on a charcoal stove adds a fragrant touch while maintaining their freshness. It's an incredibly elegant delicacy! - Asatsukiyo Shochu (market price) I added a bottle of Kagoshima shochu "Asatsukiyo" at this point. A highball with grilled meat is always a good choice. It has a fruity grape-like aftertaste, a refreshing overall flavor, and a pleasant nutty aroma. It goes down smoothly and melts in your mouth, providing a delightful experience. Today, both the meat and the drinks were delicious. Thank you for the meal!

This is my 4th visit to Niku Koya, including the Itabashi and Shimura Sakamizu locations. In the order of the photos, we had Tan Butsu Kiri, a platter of 3 types of game meat, a variety of hormone meats, Japanese beef tartare with wasabi, and a platter of kimchi. The intestines of the hormone meat were as expected, with a fluffy texture and delicious flavor. The curry we had as a finishing dish, not shown in the photos, had a spicy and addictive taste that made us want to come back for more. Thank you for the meal.

I often visit a restaurant run by someone who trained at Nikuyama, but this time I made a reservation at our place for the first time. We were smoothly seated on the second floor, staring at the menu. First, we ordered the slow-cooked Misuzu beef in half portion, with the optional uni topping, which arrived promptly. We also had smoked cheese with pickles. Today, instead of beer, we opted for a bottle of red wine, poured into large wine glasses for a toast. The smoked cheese paired well with the two types of salted hormone, thick-cut harami, game meat trio, and assorted vegetables that we ordered. Everything was so delicious that we got lost in eating without taking any photos. Now, the main dish of the day, the chunk of meat, is served with wasabi and a special sauce. The meat, with a perfect pink center, tastes even better with uni on top and wasabi mixed with the sauce. The rich flavor intensifies with each bite, and the uni adds a luxurious touch without being overwhelming. After this satisfying meal, I thought I could eat more if I had Gal Sone's stomach. Finishing our meal, we left satisfied and looking forward to trying more dishes on our next visit, as there are still many dishes we want to try.

As a person from Kansai, it is very rare to find a yakiniku restaurant where they grill the meat for you. The quality of the meat is high, making it feel like a cross between a steakhouse and a yakiniku restaurant. Unfortunately, I only have a picture from the start, as we were busy eating, drinking, and having a good time with friends. Thank you for the delicious meal.

A yakiniku restaurant located at a crossroads just outside the east exit of Ikebukuro Station. They offer a variety of meats including lean cuts, offal, and even game meat. I made a reservation for their Christmas dinner about a week in advance and visited on the Saturday evening before Christmas Eve. We were seated on the second floor, where each table had partitions for a semi-private dining experience. The ventilation system was good, with individual smoke exhaust ducts at each table to prevent clothes from smelling like smoke. We opted for the most affordable "Charcoal Grill Course (¥4180)". The course included various dishes such as kimchi, cucumber with miso, petite tomatoes, wagyu heart tataki, beef skirt steak, pork kalbi, grilled vegetable platter, low-temperature cooked pork loin, a selection of game meats, shungiku salad, assorted salted offal, grilled wagyu beef chunk, and choice of egg rice or curry. The grilled wagyu beef chunk was served after being cooked, which led to a bit of a wait. The dishes were delicious, especially the game meats which had unique flavors. The offal and vegetables were also cooked perfectly. The meal ended with a choice of egg rice or curry, and we opted for the curry which was flavorful and had a spicy kick. Overall, the quality of the meats, including the offal, was excellent, and the game meats were a nice addition. I would like to try their omakase (chef's choice) menu at the counter seats next time.

I visited a meat specialty restaurant near Ikebukuro Station. I was excited to try it out as the reviews mentioned delicious meat dishes. Starting with horse sashimi, they also served deer meat, duck meat, pork, and beef. And sausages. Vegetables were also fresh and juicy. Just as the reviews said, everything was fresh, juicy, and delicious! The food was served in quality over quantity, giving off a mature vibe that I liked. Additionally, the grilled vegetables and small appetizers were tasty. I ordered some appetizers separately, like truffle potatoes and smoked cheese. They all paired well with drinks. At the end of the course, they served egg over rice and beef tendon curry. I really love curry, so even though it was a bit spicy, I enjoyed it. Thanks to that, I ended up having two bottles of red wine, beer, and drank a bit too much.

On this day, I visited a popular yakiton restaurant nearby and then went to a game meat yakiniku bar called "Nikukoya" for the second round. The name itself already makes you want to eat there, haha. I tried bear, boar, deer, and duck meat! The bear meat had a hint of gamey smell, but it was thinly sliced and the richness of the meat surpassed that, making it delicious. Boar meat usually has a strong gamey smell, but this one had almost none, tasting similar to pork and easy to eat, making it recommended for those trying game meat for the first time. Deer meat was lean and refreshing, with a meaty flavor that I personally love. Duck meat had a juicy texture with a slight gamey taste, not as rare as the other two meats but I decided to try it since I was there. The best part about this restaurant was the seasoning, especially the foamy soy sauce and whole peppercorns. Both left a refreshing taste in the mouth and enhanced the flavor of the meat. Perhaps because I had a light meal at the first restaurant, or maybe game meat in general is light and high in protein, I was able to enjoy a full meal at the second place as well. By the way, when I ordered a large size sour drink for my second round, it turned out to be bigger than I expected, which surprised me, haha. That's all for tonight at this place. Thank you for the meal!

I went because I wanted to eat meat! I grilled lean red meat on a shichirin and thoroughly enjoyed it! The bear, sheep, and deer meat were all delicious. My first time in Itabashi. The menu is full of meat options including beef, deer, wild boar, lamb, and duck. I'm not a fan of game meat so I opted for plenty of beef, but for those who enjoy game meat, they will likely have a great time. Especially delicious dishes: 1. Chunk of meat "uchimomo" half size (1,100 yen) + topping raw sea urchin (500 yen): This was truly amazing! The meat was tender and perfectly cooked with just the right amount of fat. The sea urchin was a great addition, and when dipped in the soy sauce provided, it enhanced the flavor of the meat. 2. 29-style potato salad (680 yen): Thick slices of bacon are the highlight of this dish, and they were delicious without any unpleasant smell. Eating the bacon with the potato salad was a great combination. 3. Japanese beef wasabi yukke-style (1,200 yen): The Japanese-style seasoning with wasabi and plenty of seaweed was a perfect match for sake. The meat was tender and tasty. These three dishes were my favorites! I also ordered the Wagyu two types of uchimomo & red pepper (2,400 yen), grilled vegetable assortment (780 yen), and hormone. The portions were generous and the meat was flavorful. The mustard served with the meat was spicy and delicious. They offer a variety of beers and sake, and the service was attentive. The only downside was that they didn't seem to store the sake properly. Overall, a recommended spot for meat lovers!

The area around Itabashi Station is often associated with a lot of yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurants. However, this place is not a yakiniku restaurant, but a place where carefully grilled meats are served with matching condiments. The interior has a renovated old house vibe. It had a somewhat trendy atmosphere, similar to Shimokitazawa, with many young people. The flavors were authentic and we opted for the 150-minute all-you-can-drink course. We enjoyed dishes like grilled asparagus, sausages, and venison with fresh sansho pepper and fresh black pepper as condiments. Since it was a course meal, we should have asked for the next dish each time we finished one... We were busy with beer, red wine, and white wine... Everything was very delicious, and I would like to revisit for a la carte dishes next time.

I was introduced to this restaurant by an acquaintance and made a reservation. It's about a 5-minute walk from the station. The restaurant was almost full when I entered, so it must be popular. The interior was clean, and you can use a shichirin grill, but the staff will bring the food already cooked. This might be great for those who are not good at grilling! I ordered a course menu for about 5000 yen. They started by showing us the ingredients they would be using that day, like seafood on a boat - it looked so beautiful. The meat looked delicious and the staff explained each one carefully, making it sound even more appetizing. The asparagus was large and flavorful, cooked to perfection with just the right amount of salt. The horse meat had a fresh and unique texture. The lamb meat was seasoned to bring out its distinct flavor, which was surprisingly delicious. The deer meat also had a great seasoning that highlighted its wild taste. The duck meat was tender and juicy. The pork meat was sweet and tender, easy to chew. The beef was incredibly tender. They even served a luxurious dish with uni and caviar, which was both visually appealing and sophisticated in taste - perfect for women. They finished with curry rice, and the best part was that you could have seconds, which I happily took advantage of. Overall, the restaurant offers great value, delicious food, and a stylish and clean atmosphere, making it a great choice for a date.
