A stylish and botanical-themed restaurant. Inside, there are tables with reservation signs placed on them. The place is so popular that all tables are fully booked. There is only one staff member, a man in his 30s, taking orders and cooking alone. Each table has a different plant placed on it, creating a unique atmosphere. Customers keep coming in, but it seems none of them have made reservations, so the staff politely turns them away. This restaurant definitely requires reservations. I made a reservation myself and ordered French toast, sausages, and a cafe au lait. I waited for about 30 minutes while listening to Ghibli music. When the food arrived, I was amazed by the stylish presentation of the French toast, which looked nothing like the one I make at home. And the taste... it was exquisite, beyond words. The sausages had a satisfying snap and burst of flavor in my mouth. And the cafe au lait was just pure bliss. It was worth the wait! It was worth making a reservation! This is definitely a place I will come back to!

Stylish bakery cafe in Kyoto! Open from 8am on weekends, perfect for a morning visit! I had the Camembert cheese toast with fried egg and sausage added. You can choose your favorite toast and add a side dish. The toast was thick and topped with plenty of Camembert cheese and honey. The additional sausage and fried egg were delicious too! There are many other menu items I want to try, so I definitely want to go back again!

I arrived in Kyoto in the morning and went to have breakfast on the weekend as they open at 8 am. I ordered: - Camembert cheese toast for 940 yen - Sausage for 330 yen - Fried egg for 280 yen The thick toast was crispy on the outside and soft inside. It was generously topped with Camembert cheese, and paired perfectly with honey. I also added sausage and fried egg for a slightly luxurious breakfast. The restaurant had a stylish atmosphere and I really enjoyed it.

〈Features〉A stylish cafe popular for its French toast and parfaits, just a 5-minute walk from Higashiyama Station. 〈Menu〉- French Toast (1,210 yen) with ricotta cream and maple syrup - Japanese black tea (605 yen) I heard from my gourmet friends that the French toast here is amazing, so I decided to visit. I actually tried to come here before, but they were closed that time, so this was my chance for revenge. I went for breakfast. The surface of the French toast was caramelized and crispy, while the inside was fluffy and creamy. The French toast itself wasn't too sweet, so even with a generous amount of maple syrup, it had just the right level of sweetness. This is exactly my type of French toast! I would love to visit again when I come back to Kyoto. Thank you for the delicious meal!

It's a wonderful shop that combines a lovely bakery and restaurant. I ordered a speciality from the restaurant menu, an open sandwich with grapes, blueberries, and burrata cheese. The bread itself was very delicious, and the combination of grapes and burrata cheese was also amazing. Although it was a bit pricey, one open sandwich was surprisingly filling. The lunch course, salads, and other menu items all looked very delicious, so I would love to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

The combination of American cherry and chocolate ice cream is divine♡ The punch of cherry and the richness of chocolate create a perfect balance. Pine soda is refreshing and helps beat the summer heat. It's crisp and bubbly. The classic pudding stood out in the sophisticated cafe, so I decided to try it.

The stylish and calm atmosphere, along with the exquisite dishes and tableware, were outstanding. The homemade pasta, in particular, had the perfect thickness and firmness and was delicious. They also sold bread inside the restaurant, so I bought canelés as souvenirs for the children, and they were also delicious.

This is a very lovely and delicious restaurant. I had breakfast and coffee around 10 am on Sunday. The toast was very delicious. You can choose bread inside the store and also eat in. I also took out my favorite canelé on the way back, and I was impressed by how delicious it was. It's located near the Kyocera Museum of Art, so if you are nearby, please visit. Thank you for the meal!

I had passed by this shop a few times and was curious, so I decided to drop in. I thought it might be a bakery based on the name, but the lunch menu had a bistro-like, authentic feel with hamburgers, appetizers, and more. The café menu had pancakes and parfaits that were also quite authentic. After trying a couple of dishes, I was convinced that every item on the menu must be delicious. You can take out bread and sweets to enjoy on a nearby bench or in the park, or you can dine in the café or for lunch - it's a versatile place. There were locals and foreign tourists among the customers. And the seasonal limited edition melon parfait was amazing! The melon, jelly, and ice cream inside were all delicious. The parfait actually had more volume than it appears in the photos. It was a feast!

Near Keage Station in Higashiyama, Kyoto, you can find "Pastry Lignum", a stylish cafe in Okazaki. They offer a cinnamon roll for 330 yen, a pistachio Swiss roll for 350 yen, and coffee for 610 yen. You can relax and enjoy the view of the greenery along Nio-mon Street.

We headed to this restaurant located about a 5-minute walk from Keihan Higashiyama Station. After visiting Kyoto City Zoo, my family and I decided to have lunch here. The surroundings are beautiful with a nice atmosphere. The buildings are all stylish. We arrived around 11 o'clock. There were many female customers and couples. We managed to find seats. Some of the available seats were reserved, so it might be a good idea to make a reservation. I ordered Bacon and Egg Pancakes (1650 yen tax included) with a Milk Coffee (720 yen), while my wife and child had Toast Bread (500 yen) with toppings of Sausage (330 yen), Fried Egg (280 yen), and Apple Juice (720 yen). We also bought Croissants (290 yen) and Pain au Chocolat (340 yen) sold in the store. You can choose between a glass and a child-sized cup for the Apple Juice, so we chose the child-sized cup. When my wife asked the staff about the Fried Egg, they said it's like a sunny-side-up egg, so she was looking forward to it. Soon, the dishes arrived. My wife's Toast Bread set came first, with the Fried Egg being a sunny-side-up egg. It was a stylish set with strawberry jam. The butter on top is actually miso. The Pancakes I ordered were quite thick, crispy on the outside and soft inside. They tasted delicious with butter and syrup. They came with bacon and fried egg, but for the price, it felt a bit expensive... Especially the Apple Juice, which felt overpriced. You can choose between a child-sized cup and a glass, but the price is the same, which was a bit disappointing. From the reviews, it seems that many people are enjoying the parfait and open sandwiches, which look delicious. These seem to be the popular choices. The bread was all delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Seasonal fruit parfaits that change with each season are very popular. It's highly recommended to make a reservation and pre-order in advance because of their popularity. This time, the parfait featured a combination of amao strawberries, white bean paste, and ruby chocolate. Not only is it cute, but the flavors keep changing as you eat, keeping you interested until the very end. Despite being voluminous, it's refreshing and not heavy, and before I knew it, I had finished it all. It was incredibly delicious. The terrace seats are dog-friendly, and the staff and atmosphere of the restaurant are both wonderful.

On a Sunday with cherry blossoms in full bloom, I stumbled upon a cafe near the Kyoto National Museum where a few people were lining up. I had been looking for a cafe, so I considered it lucky and waited in line for about 10 minutes. When the cafe opened and I entered, I noticed reservation signs placed on various tables. I thought I might be turned away without a reservation, but they rearranged the reserved seats and seated me. I was truly grateful for their hospitality. The avocado and poached egg open sandwich I ordered was delicious, and it was a great start to my Kyoto sightseeing. There were many other appetizing menu items, including parfait, so I would like to make a reservation and visit again next time. If this cafe were near my home, I would definitely become a regular customer.

Fruit Parfait (2,420 yen) is available for sale from 11 am. It takes some time to prepare. It is a red and white parfait made with Amanou strawberry, Ruby chocolate, and Shiratama. It is not too sweet with a lot of cream. The Ruby chocolate adds a strong sweetness, but there are also accents of crumble texture and the acidity of the jelly. The portion is just right, not too much or too little, so it's okay to have it after other sweets. Thank you for the meal.

I love parfaits and fruit toast, and this time I tried the Fruit Parfait (Strawberry Parfait) for 2420 yen. It was delicious with different types of strawberries. The varieties included Amaou, Ruby Chocolate, and Shiroi (white) which is the Amaou. It was really tasty! ❤️

I visited the restaurant at 11 am on a weekday, and although there were plenty of empty seats inside, they were all reserved. They said they could seat me as soon as a table becomes available, but there was no waiting area inside the restaurant, so they asked me to leave my phone number and wait nearby. I really wanted to eat there, so I decided to wait. After exploring the area for about 30 minutes, they called me. I was prepared to wait for about an hour, so I was relieved it was shorter. It's better to make a reservation even on weekdays. The interior of the restaurant is very stylish and appealing to young women. I saw a young girl taking a lot of photos of her parfait. I ordered the fruit toast and Japanese black tea. The toast that day was with strawberries and kumquats. It arrived in about 10 minutes and looked cute! The bread was crispy and delicious. The whipped cream was not too sweet and paired well with the sweetness and tartness of the fruits. The atmosphere inside was relaxing, and I had a good time. However, the prices are a bit high. The fruit toast was 1300 yen, and the tea was 550 yen, totaling 2035 yen including tax. For this price, you could have a more cost-effective lunch elsewhere. But I guess it's the price you pay for the location.

I went to Strawberry Parfait in Higashiyama, Kyoto. After visiting Okazaki Shrine for the first shrine visit of the year. It's within walking distance from Heian Jingu Shrine. The fruit parfait was full of strawberries, roses, and salted vanilla. Under the sweet and sour strawberries, there was vanilla ice cream. In addition to strawberries, there were three kinds of berries. It was just right to eat fruit with sweet custard cream and sweet jelly. The last bite was a rich strawberry confiture. Overall, this parfait was quite sweet! Thank you for the meal♪ #Lignum #HigashiyamaCafe #HigashiyamaGourmet #OkazakiCafe #OkazakiGourmet #HeianJinguShrine #StrawberryParfait

The last bread adventure of the year is at "lignam" near Heian Shrine. It's a stylish and cool bakery cafe, but the bread itself is incredibly delicious. By the way, there's also a famous pizza place next door, so it's a luxurious dilemma to choose between the two.

I decided to go to the restaurant suddenly after 2 pm on a regular day and called to confirm and make a reservation before going since it was the same day. It seems that they prioritize people with reservations now, as there were people who couldn't get in without one, so it's better to call before going even on the same day. Menu ordered: - Fruit Parfait ¥2200 - Iced Coffee ¥602 The "Fruit Parfait" at first, I wondered why it was called a fruit parfait when it's a Mont Blanc parfait, but inside there were diced Western pears and chestnuts, and plenty of Kyoho grape confiture at the bottom! The Mont Blanc cream has a strong scent of rum-like Western liquor. Underneath that, there is hojicha gelato and buckwheat crumble, with a fragrant aroma that is irresistible♪ Especially, the buckwheat crumble is quite large and crispy, and I thought buckwheat in a parfait? But it was quite delicious! The soft and chewy texture of the Bavarois and Panna Cotta was pleasant, and the refreshing scent of cassis cream and lemon jelly tightened the sweetness of the parfait♡ It's a parfait with a very high level of completion, and although it takes a bit of time to plate, I thought it was worth the wait and worth going for this parfait♪ Notes✍️ ⭐Parfait composition⭐Shibukawa chestnut, Western chestnut, Mont Blanc cream, Langue de chat (the one that sticks out), hojicha gelato, buckwheat crumble, Western chestnut bavarois, Western pear, cassis cream, espresso-flavored panna cotta, lemon jelly, Kyoho grape confiture. That's it! Thank you for the meal☆.。.:*・#Lignum

On Thursday, after having lunch and some drinks at a popular Chinese restaurant, we walked to the Kyocera Museum of Art. Along the canal in front of the museum, we discovered a stylish cafe-like restaurant. Peeking inside, we saw a bakery area by the window with various types of bread, and customers enjoying their lunch at the tables. There was a sign at the entrance stating that due to being short-staffed, they were only accepting customers with reservations until 11:00. It was just before 1:00, but they kindly allowed us in. We were seated at a large table and went to choose our bread. We picked a croissant and an anpan, along with hot drip coffee for both of us. The table was adorned with dried flowers, and the ambiance of the cafe was lovely with slow background music. The croissant was large and crispy on the outside, yet moist inside, absolutely delicious! The anpan was shared and cut with a knife, and it was also very tasty. The kitchen area behind us displayed baguettes and loaves of bread, all looking appetizing. It seemed like a popular bakery cafe, and we were glad we made the impromptu visit. We paid with PayPay. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Avocado and poached egg open sandwich for 1320 yen. Cafe au lait (hot) for 350 yen. I also got a bacon epi and a cinnamon roll for around 300 yen each for takeout. I made a morning reservation starting at 9 am and visited the cafe. It's located about a 5-minute walk from Heian Shrine, next to Dayuuki-san. The cafe looks very nice from the outside with a variety of delicious looking bread. The interior is stylish with dried flowers decorating the tables. The food was delicious and comforting. The avocado was perfectly ripe and soft, paired beautifully with the half-cooked egg. It was a perfect breakfast with a generous portion and exquisite taste. The staff were also very pleasant. I would love to try their parfait and French toast next time. By the way, the bread was amazing. The epi had a strong black pepper flavor, simple yet the taste of bacon and butter, and the saltiness was irresistible. The cinnamon roll had a soft cream on top that was delightful. The bread here is really delicious, so I want to go back and buy the cardamom roll and croissant. It seems that reservations are essential in the morning as the bread is baked gradually.
