Around 10 PM, it was empty again so I was able to sit right away. I ordered ramen and gyoza. The noodles were thin and a bit difficult to eat as they were either too sticky or too firm. The soup was extremely delicious. The chashu was thin but there was a lot of it.

After 9:30 PM on Saturday, I went to a ramen shop that was still open nearby. The menu outside was faded and hard to see, but inside, a kind couple shifted their seats so I could sit down. I ordered the Special Ramen for 1000 yen (tax included). The ramen had plenty of green onions and a generous amount of chashu on top. I prefer my noodles a bit firmer, but the flavor was rich and delicious, blending well with the soup. I wish the gyoza had a crispy skin. After paying the bill, I thanked them for the meal!

It's a shop that is always crowded, but today I was able to enter smoothly. I ordered ramen. The soup was light but flavorful and delicious. At first, I tried it as is, then added pepper, chili pepper, and garlic to change the taste little by little. When I added garlic, it instantly became garlicky and gained a junk food-like flavor, but it was still delicious.

When I come to Kyoto, my recent routine is to visit Tatsumi, Kyogoku Stand, and hop between them. After drinking for a while, I walk back to my hotel and on the way, I stumbled upon a charming restaurant. I ordered ramen for 800 yen, with thin noodles, thinly sliced pork, bean sprouts, and green onions. When it comes to Kyoto's ramen, places like Shinpukusaien and Daiichi Asahi are famous, and this place had a similar style. Adding some spicy oil halfway through gave it a nice kick and kept it interesting. I personally prefer the noodles a bit firmer, but overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I visited Ramen Fujii in Keihan Gojo for the first time. It's a counter-only shop with a lot of history. It's nice and easy for solo customers. I ordered the special ramen for 1000 yen. When it was served, I wasn't surprised by the amount of noodles, but as I ate, I was amazed by the abundance of chashu pork. The overall portion wasn't that big, but there was plenty of bamboo shoots, green onions, and bean sprouts. Even after finishing all the noodles, there were still about 4 pieces of chashu at the bottom of the soup. Quite hearty. I managed to finish it all.

I visited this restaurant alone during my night sightseeing in Kyoto. It was great that they were open late at night. The taste of the ramen was simple and light, but the texture of the Kujo negi (leeks) was amazing. The staff, possibly a foreigner working part-time, seemed inexperienced and was frequently scolded by the owner, which was a bit concerning.

Thank you very much. I had a great meal at Shirodaiko-san. The taste was excellent. I'll drink some water and wait. The menu looks like this. Ramen for 800 yen. It was filled with lots of ingredients. I enjoyed slurping it up. It was both junky and light. I added some flavoring. Finally, I was very satisfied with the vinegar. Thank you for the meal. Well then, goodbye.

The ramen (800 yen) with tonkotsu shoyu soup has a delicious flavor that balances lightness and richness. The plentiful crispy green onions can be ordered with extra green onions. The thinly sliced chashu pork was plentiful and tasty, blending well with the noodles. Adding Yakiniku sauce on the table can change the flavor completely. The interior of the restaurant has an old-fashioned atmosphere, giving a nostalgic feel, but the staff were friendly and welcoming. ❤️

I stopped by because I was a little hungry at night. It was past 9 PM on Saturday, but the counter was about 70% full and bustling with local people. I ordered ramen. It was topped with plenty of green onions, and I mistook it for negi ramen. There was also a generous amount of chashu. The taste was similar to the shoyu ramen at Komeda-ya, a standard Kyoto ramen, and it was delicious. The only regret I had was not adding 50 yen to make it menma ramen, as the normal ramen didn't have any menma in it, and I really wanted to try it. I made the mistake of adding Yannin from the condiments on the table, which completely changed the flavor, so I wish I hadn't added it.

Famous Kyoto ramen shop in Gojo, Kyoto! Located on the way up the slope towards Kiyomizu Temple from Keihan Electric Railway Kiyomizu Gojo Station. I noticed a long line since New Year's, but surprisingly, Fushimi has been available since the third day of the year! Fushimi is a well-known chain of Kyoto ramen shops. This is great news. I used to go to Fushimi for Kyoto ramen when I was a student. I immediately decided on Fushimi for lunch! I had the B lunch, which is 50 yen off until 3:00 PM. It came with ramen, fried chicken, and rice for 1050 yen. The prices have definitely gone up compared to before, but when in Kyoto, Kyoto ramen is a must. It's been so long that I can't remember how many years it's been, but the taste is just like it used to be, with plenty of delicious soup. The noodles are also delicious. I put the chashu on top of the rice to make chashu rice. I had nostalgic Kyoto ramen for the first time in a long time.

It has been several years since I last visited Ramen Fujii, since I went to the main store in Kujo a few years ago. The store in Gojo doesn't have any records on Tabelog, so it must have been quite a long time ago. I went around 3 o'clock for lunch, so it wasn't crowded. I wanted to order the special ramen, but it's only available after 6 pm for year-end parties, so I settled for the regular ramen. It cost 800 yen, and I also ordered a bottle of Super Dry beer. The ramen arrived pretty quickly, and I was impressed by its nostalgic appearance. It had lots of Kujo negi and about three slices of chashu. When I slurped the soup, it brought back so many memories. The noodles were delicious, as expected from Kondo Seimen. I finished it in no time and if I have time when I come to Kyoto again, I will definitely stop by. I noticed that the color of the shop's tent has changed, it's now white.

A famous Kyoto establishment that originated from the well-known Kondo Seimenjo noodle factory. This long-standing Kyoto favorite, known for its "Special Ramen," is highly popular among fans. The typical Kyoto-style clear pork bone broth ramen with a refreshing soy sauce flavor is simply delicious. The expertise of this long-standing establishment, loved for many years, is truly impressive. Thank you for the wonderful meal. #GratefulforLife camera: #ricohgr3... #KyotoGourmet #KyotoDinner #KyotoLunch #KyotoRamen #KyotoSightseeing #KansaiRamen #LetsGoToKyoto #RamenLovers #RamenFujii #DeliciousPhotos #Noodlestagram #SpecialRamen #FoodPhotography #KyotoRamenClub #KyotoGram #Noodlestagram #KyotoFoodTour #RamenClub #KyotoJapan #KyotoTrip #KyotoFood #KyotoDinner #KyotoLunch #RamenNoodles #VisitKyoto #InstaKyoto #LovesKyoto

Special ramen set B. Comes with fried chicken and rice for 1300 yen. The special ramen is Chashu noodles. It's a traditional soy sauce ramen and delicious. The Chashu has a bit of tendon but I don't mind it. The location is near Kiyomizu Temple, but most of the customers are locals.

In Kyoto for some errands. Had lunch at a ramen shop near Kiyomizu-Gojo Station. Ramen Fuji Gojo branch, photo is of ramen priced at 750 yen. Shoyu tonkotsu soup with medium-thin straight noodles. Topped with plenty of chopped green onions, bean sprouts, and a few slices of chashu. The soup, which is rich in flavor but not too heavy, is something you'll want to savor again. It may be on the lighter side compared to other Kyoto ramen, but it's still delicious. Given the current situation, a price increase is understandable.

Just visited Ramen Fujisan's Gojo branch after eating at Tsurusei, so I didn't need a lot of food, but I ordered a cost-effective set anyway (^◇^;) I prioritize deals over my stomach's condition, haha. I ended up leaving some rice, but I enjoyed the meal. #Kyoto 9th stop #Kiyomizu Gojo Station #Ramen Fujisan #Menu differs from main branch

Well, it's been a while since I visited Ramen Fuji. I ordered the special ramen for the first time, which costs 950 yen. The special ramen is probably just regular ramen with extra menma and chashu. When the ramen arrived, I noticed that there was quite a lot of green onions, but I slightly regret not ordering extra green onions for even more flavor. Ramen Fuji serves a style of ramen similar to Asahi Ramen, which is known for its rich and flavorful broth. The soup was deliciously consistent as always. The menma was slightly sweet and had a strong flavor, which I enjoyed. The noodles were classic thin straight noodles, which paired well with the broth. The chashu was made of thinly sliced pork belly, which may not be as flavorful as other Asahi-style ramen shops. Overall, I still like it. Next time, I will definitely order extra green onions.

Around 12 o'clock, I visited "Ramen Fujii Gojo Store" on the north side of Gojo Street, near the east side of Gojo Bridge, by myself. This is a long-established ramen chain that will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2022. The atmosphere of the shop, with only a counter, exudes a sense of tradition. Menu: - Ramen 750 yen - Menma Ramen 800 yen - Special Ramen 950 yen - Cold noodles (summer only) 850 yen - Gyoza 250 yen - Grilled pork 550 yen - Fried chicken 550 yen - Large rice 250 yen - Medium rice 150 yen - Small rice 100 yen - Egg 50 yen - Beer 500 yen - Draft beer 500 yen - Non-alcoholic beer 450 yen - Sake 400 yen - Ramune 150 yen - Kimchi 200 yen The Special Ramen comes with extra noodles, menma, and extra chashu. [Food Received]: - Menma Ramen 800 yen The soup, with a sharp soy sauce flavor and chashu made from Miyazaki's Onuki pork, combines the melt-in-your-mouth umami. It's an orthodox yet never tiresome taste, reflecting the fact that it has been loved for nearly 50 years. The green onions seem to be carefully selected for their concentrated umami from the Kujo green onions. [Overall Impression]: The ramen lived up to expectations. This old-fashioned Chinese soba with soy sauce flavor and the melding of pork umami into the soup is easy to drink, yet it leaves a satisfying feeling after eating. Thank you for the meal. #Ramen #KyotoRamen #Gourmet #KyotoGourmet #GourmetClub #Gojo #GojoBridge #RamenFujii #RamenLovers #Foodies #JapaneseFood

After work with friends. As soon as we entered, the atmosphere of the restaurant was filled with a Showa era vibe (I don't know what Showa is). The ramen here is light and comes with a large amount of green onions on top, with chili peppers or garlic paste on the table for flavor variations. Thank you for the meal!

Three of us, a senior colleague, a junior colleague, and myself, went to "Ruma Plaza" in Kyoto after getting ready together at work. We were looking forward to it as we had heard it was the original shop of "Ramen Fuk" from Aichi Prefecture. All three of us ordered the "Special Ramen." The ramen had plenty of char siu and the noodles and broth were delicious and to our liking.

There was a ramen shop without a parking lot that I always passed by and was curious about. Finally, I had the chance to stop by during their business hours. I ordered their special ramen, which is known as Kyoto ramen. It came with a generous portion of chashu, bean sprouts, and green onions in a soy sauce-based broth - a typical Kyoto ramen style. The broth was rich and slightly sweet, similar to Ramen Ten. The garlic and red pepper paste called Ninton added a punch to the flavor, especially when paired with the chashu. It was delicious and addictive! Thank you for the meal.
