The interior of the restaurant was stylish, and the menu was cute and matched the atmosphere. I ordered omurice, but the egg was thick and slightly hard, not the creamy texture I expected. The flavor was a bit bland, but some people might like it. Personally, I found the rice inside too flavorful and the taste too simple for my liking, so I give it a low rating. However, the ambiance of the restaurant was lovely. The owner was handling everything from serving to cooking alone.

We visited the restaurant "Kimi to, Shiromi" with 2 people around 3:30 PM. Located just a 2-minute walk from Keihan Fushimi Momoyama Station, this is the sister store of the local Western-style restaurant "Cordon Bleu". The concept of the restaurant is to create an atmosphere where you can feel like you can meet someone special, even if it's just over pancakes. The exterior is predominantly white, and the interior has a cozy feel with only 3 small tables for 2 people each. Here are some of the dishes we tried:
- "The reason I can meet you" Pancakes: ¥780
- "If it comes untied, just tie it again" Strawberry Whip Pancakes: ¥1,500
- "I'm glad you're here" Chocolate Banana Pancakes: ¥1,100
- "Me you don't know" Fried Eggs and Sausages Pancakes: ¥1,100
- Strawberry Custard Pancakes: ¥980
- Banana Custard Pancakes: ¥980
- Pancake Tower: ¥1,700
- Whipped Cream: ¥100
- Custard Whipped Cream: ¥100
- Gelato: ¥200
- "Longing for you" Classic Pudding: ¥500
- "When love turns into affection" Pudding a la Mode: ¥1,100
- "Hot love ends with a cold ending" SHUHARI Matcha Affogato Pudding: ¥780
They also offer a variety of drinks such as coffee, cafe latte, cafe mocha, matcha latte, tea, coffee float, tea float, and more. The dishes we tried included the Strawberry Whip Pancakes, Pudding a la Mode, and Mixed Juice. The pancakes were delicious with a fluffy yet moist texture, and the restaurant's white-themed interior was clean and inviting. The limited seating makes takeout a good option as well. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience. #Gourmet #KyotoGourmet #FushimiGourmet #Sweets #KyotoSweets #FushimiSweets #Pancakes #KyotoPancakes #FushimiPancakes #Kimi to Shiromi #Cordon Bleu #Omelette Rice #Want to connect with gourmet lovers

I went to Katsuhiro for lunch to please my wife, and I plan to buy something sweet on the way back! I had a strawberry dessert! It was delicious with fluffy pancakes topped with light cream and strawberries! The interior of the restaurant, which is based on white tones, is very stylish! Next time, I want to eat inside with my wife! Thank you for the meal.

I arrived around 2:00 PM. The interior of the restaurant was very stylish with white as the main color. I ordered the regular pancakes with an additional topping of milk gelato. The pancakes didn't taste freshly baked, more like they had been sitting for a while. They were chewy rather than crispy. The pancakes themselves were not exceptional, just average. If you're looking for something Instagram-worthy, it might be worth a visit.

I visited the nearby coin parking around 2 pm on a weekday. At that time, there was only one serving of omurice left. My friend and I ordered omurice with curry and pancakes. The omurice portion was small and might be a bit unsatisfying for those with a bigger appetite. We added shrimp fry and minced cutlet toppings, but it still felt a bit lacking. The pancakes were two pieces with a chewy and substantial texture. The interior of the restaurant was all white and narrow, with three tables in the back. It was a small and charming little place.

Next to Keihan Fushimi Momoyama Station, a pure white cafe called "Kimi to, Shiromi" opened. I felt like it would be a nice place, so I decided to go in for a coffee. Their specialty seemed to be pancakes, pudding, and omurice. I ordered pancakes and the "Happy Love" cream soda in blue. The pure white interior with colorful sweets and drinks was clearly aimed at Instagram-worthy photos, but the taste was also delicious. They even offered a free pudding if you posted on Instagram, so I left the shop feeling like I got a good deal!

A shop with a white-based theme. It is affiliated with the Western food restaurant "Colet-san". The concept is interesting and very girly!! But the prices are a bit high!?! When the strawberry whip pancake was brought out, the cream was already oozing out, which was a bit disappointing. It had a good texture, and the sweetness and sourness of the strawberries matched well with the pancakes.

Today's lunch was "Cutlet x Egg-kun and Shiromi" at a restaurant called Omurice-san located next to the railroad crossing at the southern end of the Keihan Fushimi-Momoyama Station platform. The restaurant's name is quite impactful and stands out against the surrounding town. The all-white interior and furniture make the narrow space feel cozy, with a few tables lined up towards the back. The menu consists of dishes like pancakes, pudding, omurice, and egg sandwiches, all centered around eggs. Each dish comes with a slightly embarrassing name. I went for the omurice, adding crab cream croquette topping for 1210 yen. The dishes are prepared one by one, so it can take some time due to the number of customers. The sound of cooking the omurice is distinct, with the eggs being mixed vigorously. The dish arrives on a whimsical plate, with vibrant yellow eggs and red sauce against the white backdrop. The eggs are neither thin nor fluffy but thick and fluffy. The chicken rice inside is filled with large chunks of ingredients. On top, there's a crab cream croquette. The croquette is rich in crab meat but lacks creaminess, which was a bit disappointing. Despite the restaurant's fantasy-like atmosphere, the food is delicious and satisfying.

The rice in the omurice had a slightly unpleasant texture due to some hard bits remaining. The taste was good, so it was disappointing. The crab cream croquette had a good amount of crab inside and was delicious, but it could use a bit more creaminess. The mixed juice had a weak flavor.

The restaurant offers aesthetically pleasing omurice and pancakes. There are three tables in the back, each with two chairs. It's a small space. I chose the strawberry whipped cream hotcakes which looked very Instagrammable. The hotcakes were sweet and heavy, similar to baby castella. They were so sweet that I felt like I might get heartburn. The seating is limited, and there are many customers waiting, so I wish they had some rules in place to speed up the turnover. Maybe taking orders in advance or serving the food within an hour. Also, even though there is space to wait inside, they don't offer it unless you ask, and the staff doesn't seem very attentive.

"Fushimi Momoyama" "Kimito, Shiromi"
"Kimito, Shiromi" is an egg-based cuisine specialty store that opened in Fushimi Momoyama in November last year. The interior of the store is wrapped in a round shape, with a pleasant aroma... The all-white interior, designed to resemble an egg, is quite unique! The lamps hanging from the ceiling also evoke images of eggs. It is a cozy space, reminiscent of being inside an egg. The attention to detail is also evident in the round tables. The menu names are also unique. The female owner, who seems to be quite diligent in love affairs based on a TV interview (lol), has come up with amusing menu names.
- "It's okay to tie it back when it comes undone" (Strawberry Whip) 1,500 yen (I was surprised when I saw the price at checkout without looking...)
The pancakes seem to be cooked using a machine that can bake on both sides like a waffle maker. The dough is quite chewy and thick♡ It gives the impression of a dorayaki. Between the chewy dough, there is custard cream and strawberries sandwiched. I'm also interested in the pancake sandwich for takeout, which looks cute! (Today's was in White Day style) It seems that you can also make a pancake tower for 1,700 yen, so I would like to come with everyone after the end of the pandemic! In addition to pudding and mixed juice, there is also omurice, so it can be used for lunch as well.

Start with a fastball topic in 2021, focusing on meat and seafood with a 30-match series featuring beef, pork, and fish. Following that, there was a series on the alluring pancakes (around 20 articles), running concurrently with a "Chicken 10-match series" and a "Roast Beef Bowl for a Week" series. The review discusses the opening of "Kimi to, Shiromi" in Fushimi, Kyoto, a restaurant specializing in egg dishes produced by the Western-style restaurant "Cotelette." The menu has unique and catchy subtitles, with a classic hotcake dish named "The Reason I Can Meet You" priced at 680 yen (excluding tax).

In Fushimi, there is a visually-focused restaurant that stands out. Their specialty is egg dishes, especially omelettes. The exterior is painted completely white, giving off an image of egg whites. The staff are all women in their twenties. If this were in front of a university, the customers might all be women, but this is Fushimi. Surprisingly, there are male customers too, including myself. I ordered omurice with shrimp fry on top. It's a bit pricey. It's said that this place is supported by the famous Western food restaurant, Colette, but the fry isn't freshly fried. The breadcrumbs might also be slightly different.

I often pass by a road with a railway crossing, and when I looked to the side, I saw a cute new cafe with congratulatory flowers for its opening (lol). Everyone passing by was looking at it. I parked in a coin parking lot and went in. It turned out to be a new business venture of the famous Western-style restaurant "Cutlet" in Fushimi. I had the omurice made with free-range eggs. You can choose toppings for an additional fee. I chose the crab cream croquette, but there were also options like sweet potato croquette, minced cutlet, and pork cutlet. My friend ordered the shrimp fry. I couldn't resist the cute-looking drinks, so I also ordered:
- Banana juice
- Mixed juice
I added gelato toppings for an extra fee, making them look even more extravagant. After the meal, we had two desserts:
- Pudding a la mode: A rich pudding surrounded by plenty of fruits. It was quite to my liking.
- Pancakes with strawberry whipped cream: I chose this from the six types of pancakes. It had a cute ribbon on top, and everyone around me was surprised when I ordered it (lol). The taste was delicious, and I preferred the crispy pancakes over the fluffy ones. The whipped cream was also perfect in sweetness. I will definitely come back. Rating on Tabelog: 3.00

I heard from someone that without me realizing, half of the rice shop had become this store. I tried to visit for lunch a few times to have omurice, but it was always full. There are about three tables. So, I ended up getting a bottle of pudding for 480 yen plus tax. It had a rich egg flavor and a strong vanilla taste.

Recently opened in Fushimi Momoyama, this restaurant, a branch of the well-known Colette specializing in adult-style children's lunches, is quite popular. I arrived just after 12 pm on a weekday and managed to snag the last available seat. The place quickly filled up with customers, mainly women and couples, creating a bustling atmosphere. The menu consists of options like omurice or om curry with various toppings. I ordered omurice with shrimp fry topping, while my wife opted for omurice with crab cream croquette topping. It took nearly thirty minutes for our orders to arrive, and it seemed like the place was run by a single person. The omurice was lukewarm upon arrival, suggesting that the toppings were prepared elsewhere and brought in. The taste was average, with the shrimp fry topping being the highlight, as it was crispy and flavorful. Overall, the restaurant seems more suitable for casual cafe use.

December has arrived, and following last month's roast beef bowl, we are starting a new series featuring egg dishes - egg sandwiches and omurice. This time, we will be running this series in parallel with our regular GoTo government cafeteria reviews.
Egg Sandwich & Omurice Days - Part 4
In this edition, we will introduce a new restaurant that opened on November 28th called "Kimi to, Shiromi" in Fushimi, Kyoto. This egg dish specialty shop is produced by the Western-style restaurant "Cotelette." One of their signature dishes is the free-range egg omurice called "Kimi to nara Nando demo" priced at 800 yen (excluding tax).

I happened to be along the Keihan line, so I went to this place recommended by one of my followers. It's located right across from Sancho's, and it's a stylish building with a white-themed interior and exterior designed by a designer. While takeout seems to be the main focus, there is also a cafe space with about 6 seats at the back. They had an open campaign going on, so it was quite crowded, but there was space for eating in so I decided to try it out. The chocolate banana hotcakes were well cooked, with a strong egg flavor and a flavorful batter. It's kind of like a dorayaki. It came with whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, and a whole banana. It was a generous portion. The coffee was probably an Americano. This place felt more like a fast-food type of place. They had a variety of menu items centered around eggs, such as pudding, omurice, and mixed juice. I didn't know before going, but it's actually related to the popular Western-style restaurant, Cutlet, in Fushimi. It seems more like a place where locals would casually get takeout rather than a destination for a special trip.

In this area, there is a famous Western-style restaurant specializing in a deep-fried dish called cutlet, but I visited a restaurant specializing in egg dishes. It was before 1 p.m. on a weekday when I used their take-out service. There were no customers waiting inside the restaurant, but many people were looking at the signboard. I was told to wait for about 10 minutes, so I sat down and waited.
- Omelette rice with crab cream croquette topping
The egg was fluffy with a hint of buttery sweetness. Inside, there was chicken rice with a ketchup flavor, and the chicken, onions, and green peppers were plentiful. I felt that the spices were quite strong. The demi-glace sauce had a unique flavor. It reminded me of Worcestershire sauce, a sauce that would go well with fried food. The crab cream croquette was exquisite. It was delivered from the cutlet shop. The breadcrumbs seemed to be made from fresh bread, with a nice aroma. It had chunks of crab and mushrooms, not too gooey, but a solid filling. I would like to try their pancakes next time. I'm glad to know that pancakes are also available for take-out. Thank you for the meal.
