After leaving Yorimichi, I walked south on Higashi-Kujo, crossing a bridge to reach Higashifushimi Station. It was so hot. Just standing still made me sweat. The coolness of the air conditioning on the Keihan Line to Fushimi Inari Station was refreshing. Soon I arrived at Inari Station and hurriedly got off to head to Inari, but before that, I wanted to stop by a shop on the approach here. I often buy these sweets from Ito-ken at the local supermarket "Yaoko," and they are all high quality and my favorites. I wondered where the main store was, so I googled it and was eager to visit the Ito-ken cafe menu, which was very attractive. Especially the seasonal limited edition "watermelon shaved ice" was so appealing. However, the main store in Fujimori Station was quite far, and going there on this day would directly affect my schedule. But. There is a branch on the approach to Fushimi Inari, so there is no problem. So I entered the store immediately and when I asked for eat-in, they said, "Please order and pay at the register first," so I quickly ordered the "watermelon shaved ice," but they said, "I'm sorry, that's limited to the main store." Oh no. There are other menu items that caught my eye, so the damage wasn't too bad, but my body was craving something refreshing, so I ordered the "Fruity Cider." The Fruity Cider, in other words, is a shortened version of Fruit Punch Cider, where frozen fruits are added to the cider. The main fruits are mainly pineapple, mandarin orange, kiwi, and cherries, but first I took a sip of the cider. Ah, this fizzy sensation is irresistible. And when you eat the melted fruits at the right time, the flavor doubles. This is good. I drank it all up, took a short break, and then headed to Fushimi Inari, my original destination.
