At the wedding reception in the mountains of Oe-cho, Fukuchiyama City, there is an "Italian Restaurant & Wedding" that is about a 40-minute drive from JR Fukuchiyama Station. It was quite a journey up the mountain road, but the open and refreshing atmosphere of the venue made it all worth it. The menu included homemade bread, assorted appetizers, potato soup, Italian ham and edamame risotto, steamed sea bream with fresh tomato and basil sauce, grilled Japanese beef sirloin with spring bean salad, homemade ice cream and fruit, wedding cake, and coffee. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

I had a dessert lunch. The appetizer plate was delicious, and the main pasta was authentic and satisfying. The dessert, a platter of four varieties, impressed both the ladies and my boyfriend with its authentic panna cotta. The homemade bread was also delicious. Overall, it was a fun and tasty experience, and I would love to visit again. However, the creepy, faded flag-like decoration outside the store was a real disappointment. The worn-out rain gutter on the restaurant building also needs repair. Since it's such a lovely place, I really hope they make these improvements. When trying to make a reservation over the phone, I had to call three times before someone finally answered. The food was incredibly delicious, and the staff provided excellent service. Thank you ❤️

I visited the restaurant with two friends for lunch. It is located in the mountains of Oeyama in Fukuchiyama City. The setting was so secluded that I called to confirm if they were open (laughs). The phone service was friendly and reassuring. The restaurant is set in a large area suitable for wedding receptions, and even though it was drizzling, the greenery in the garden was beautiful enough to enjoy. We walked through the garden approach to enter the restaurant. I had actually visited once before when it first opened with my husband, and I remember feeling disappointed back then. I was excited to visit an Italian restaurant in the middle of the mountains, but the service (by a young male staff member) was so high-handed that I barely remember what we ordered. It felt like we, as locals, were being treated as country bumpkins. But back to the present. The building now had a more settled and welcoming atmosphere. The lunch menu included a special dessert lunch for ¥1800, a recommended course lunch for ¥2700, a beef lunch for ¥4000, and a beef full course lunch for ¥5000. We chose the recommended course. There were three pasta options, all of which looked delicious, but I chose risotto and my friend chose spaghetti with bean cream sauce! For the fish dish, we had sea bass, and for the meat dish, we had pork shoulder loin. We were both hungry, so we opted for the pork. The kitchen was partially open, and that day, the chef was handling everything alone. Time seemed to flow quietly. There were three other groups of customers - a group of three women, a group of three men and women who seemed like business people, and us. I had thought we might be the only ones there, so it was a bit surprising (sorry!). It might be easier for people from Fukuchiyama to come rather than from Miyazu City, so maybe that's why there were more customers from Fukuchiyama. The appetizer platter was a delightful surprise, filled to the brim with a variety of items. The soup was a cold corn potage, with a sweet corn flavor that was delicious. Despite talking non-stop, we quickly finished our plates. The first dish was a plate of prosciutto and edamame risotto in a carbonara style, with a nice milky texture and a gentle presence of the beans. My friend's broccoli, zucchini, and small shrimp spaghetti in bean cream sauce looked delicious with its beautiful light green sauce. The second dish was a generous serving of meat, accompanied by grilled vegetables that almost covered the plate. We were already full, but the dessert was a mix of fruits, cakes, mousses, and ice cream - a feast for the eyes! I wasn't sure if I could finish it all, but I found room for it (laughs). At ¥2700 (including tax), I think it's a reasonable price. The service, which I was worried about, was impeccable, with friendly female staff members paying attention to every detail. I must bring my husband next time. I think he will be impressed. I'd like to try going in the evening, but that mountain road... I'm sure we'll encounter something on the way. I hope someone will accompany me.

The spacious grounds include a church where weddings can be held. Inside the restaurant, there is a clean and pleasant atmosphere. The view of greenery from the windows is also soothing. The food is consistently well-prepared and everything tasted delicious. The desserts coming on a plate were a nice touch. Other customers in the restaurant seemed to be with their families, celebrating a birthday perhaps, and they were having a lively and enjoyable time. It was nice to catch a glimpse of the kitchen from our table, where we could see the pasta being tossed in a frying pan.

I saw this restaurant in a magazine, so I decided to visit. I had been to Oeyama when I was in high school, but I never imagined there would be a restaurant like this around the corner. Today, I went with my friends, and I was quite nervous as we sat down at this authentic Italian restaurant. I awkwardly used the knife and fork, unsure if I was using them correctly, but I managed to eat that day. I think I should study how to use a knife and fork properly. The food was delicious. From spaghetti to various desserts, a variety of dishes were served, making it enjoyable and tasty. Each dish was explained in detail by the staff, which added to the enjoyment. The location is deep in the mountains, so it's a hidden gem and recommended for a date spot.

When heading north from the southern part of Kyoto towards Amanohashidate, I happened to come across a sign for a restaurant called "OZ" on the local Route 9 (Miyazu Kaido) as I thought Route 176 might be congested. Surprisingly, the place turned out to be a wedding venue (lol). However, they offered lunch and cafe services without reservation, so I decided to have lunch there. The cheapest set was a soup set for 1,050 yen, but I was really hungry, so I opted for the 1,575 yen course. When the food arrived, I was amazed by how cute and delicious it looked. I might try the 2,980 yen course next time, which includes one more dish than the 1,575 yen course, but I wonder if I can finish it all (^^;). The garden was also very impressive, and I would love to visit this place again.
