Located in the food court below Kyoto Tower, this tapioca shop offers delicious and affordable drinks. I ordered a handmade milk tea with chocolate tapioca, and I got a discount through a New Year's lucky draw. Despite the touristy atmosphere, the tapioca was surprisingly good and the milk tea was just right in sweetness. The location is convenient, being directly connected to Kyoto Station. I rated it 4.2 stars, but it feels like a perfect 5 to me. I lack confidence in my taste buds, so I welcome others' opinions. This spot is sure to become a favorite for those waiting for the Shinkansen. Thank you for the meal, I will definitely visit again.

I ordered Ramune Soda (with colored tapioca) and Purple Sweet Potato Milk Tea (with black tapioca) for a total of 1012 yen. There were no other customers besides us on a weekday evening, so I thought we would receive our order quickly, but we ended up waiting for nearly 10 minutes. There were two staff members who were chatting and taking their time to make the drinks. The taste was good, but it was a bit disappointing.

When returning from Kyoto Station to Osaka, we stopped by the underground area of Kyoto Tower. It was a food hall bustling with foreign tourists. We wanted something sweet to drink, so we found a juice stand that was perfect for us. There were so many options to choose from while waiting. We finally decided on a "Coconut Soy Milk" drink with colorful tapioca pearls. The coconut milk was unsweetened and had a strong coconut flavor. However, the thick coconut milk at the bottom was a bit overwhelming. The tapioca pearls were not strongly flavored, so they ended up tasting bland at the end. Despite this, the stand offers a variety of drinks and is quite appealing.

This is a shop that sells tapioca and crepes. They also have parfaits, and I ordered a chestnut parfait. They serve freshly baked waffles, so I waited for them to be ready. The chestnut Mont Blanc parfait was delicious, and the waffle was also tasty, so I was very satisfied. Next time, I want to try the crepes. Thank you very much.

Three adorable strawberry crepes. The crepes have a chewy texture due to tapioca flour in the batter. The vibrant green matcha color is beautiful. Toppings include ice cream, red bean paste, whipped cream, and strawberries. The cold ice cream complements the flavors and adds a refreshing touch. It was very delicious.

"Kyoto City Shimogyo-ku" About 3 minutes walk from JR Kyoto Station, a tapioca shop in the Kyoto Tower Building basement, "Tapioca Berries" [Visited on August 28, 2022] The tapioca craze seems to be fading slightly... but my daughter seems to like it... Took a break after coming down from Kyoto Tower ✌️ Purchased "Strawberry Oreo Shake R 517 yen" My son doesn't like tapioca... my daughter loves it... I wish the cafe could be just one store... Anyway, this tapioca drink is super delicious!! It's just super sweet! This sweetness really soothes a tired body... but it's definitely too sweet for an old man like me... The sweetness of strawberries, whipped cream, Oreo cookies, and other sweets that kids would love are all packed in this drink. Since tapioca itself is just chewy without much flavor, this intense sweetness of the sweets might be a good match for it. My daughter enjoyed drinking it until the end ✌️ It's a taste that girls would love. Thank you for the meal~♪♪

I've been curious about chocolate tapioca for a while, and the first time I went, it was closed due to COVID-19, and the second time I went, it was already closed. Third time's the charm! I finally got to try it! I thought the chocolate tapioca would be sweet, so I chose a cafe au lait for my drink. The chocolate tapioca was chewy on the outside, but inside, it felt like there was chocolate that came out when you bit into it like those candies. Somehow, I felt like the flavor got weaker towards the end (lol). Maybe it's just my imagination. Well, it didn't exceed my expectations... crying.

Today, I went to Kyoto Tower and discovered a tapioca shop in the food floor underground, so I decided to stop by. Tapioca Belize seems to be a specialty shop for tapioca that is expanding around Kyoto. They were selling tapioca drinks and tapioca crepes made with domestically produced tapioca flour that is 100% cassava flour. It's quite rare! I ordered a Kyoto matcha crepe, which is made with Uji matcha and tapioca mixed into the batter, topped with vanilla ice cream, strawberries, and red beans. The chewy matcha batter was delicious, and the combination of red beans and matcha batter was a perfect match. It was a great snack to enjoy!

Dinner was not quite filling, so I ordered a Chocolate Strawberry Oreo (450 yen) for dessert. The cream wasn't too heavy, and the strawberries were refreshing. The Oreos on top were arranged in a zigzag pattern and were delicious. I would like to visit again when I crave crepes. Thank you for the meal.

The place has turned into a food hall, so it's great because everyone can order from their favorite spot. The seats are relatively spacious and it's recommended. I didn't have high expectations since it's a food hall, but the waffle exceeded my expectations! It was fresh and fluffy, with lots of strawberries on top, very cute and delicious. However, I think I waited for more than 20 minutes. It took quite a while to place the order too. Maybe it's because they make each crepe individually, but still, the wait was long...

It was surprisingly delicious. As a 35-year-old man, I don't usually drink tapioca. I only remember drinking it around Shijo twice. I saw a surprisingly good review on Tabelog, so I decided to try it while visiting Kyoto Tower and Yodobashi. I ordered the most basic one. It was listed in the top left of the menu, and I hesitated to order it because I'm a bit timid. Handmade milk tea, regular size for 250 yen plus tax, so 275 yen. You can choose the type of tapioca and the amount of ice. I think I chose black tapioca. The ice was normal. I usually find milk tea too sweet to drink with tapioca, but this one wasn't too sweet. I prefer it a bit less sweet, but it was still good. The tapioca itself was chewy and delicious. Considering the location, this price is very reasonable. I'll try various other drinks next time.

I have visited this place many times. I like it because it is cheap and delicious. I had the Almond Black Sesame Brown Sugar Milk for 450 yen, and my wife had the Drinking Orange Jelly for 330 yen. We enjoyed them inside the Kyoto Tower Sandwich. The Almond Black Sesame Brown Sugar Milk was the Halloween version, with a subtle black sesame aroma that matched well with the brown sugar milk. It was delicious. There were also almonds inside.

Tapioca Berries' Black Sugar Milk is more like a sweet and delicious dessert-style tapioca rather than authentic tapioca with a chewy texture. It has a low mochi mochi (chewy) feeling. They also have chocolate tapioca and other unique flavors for those who want to enjoy different tastes. Located in the Kyoto Tower Sand food court, it's convenient to buy after having other meals.

After drinking, I surprisingly like sweet things (^o^). I prefer sweet crepes over finishing with ramen. So, I visited SANDO for the first time. According to my companion, it was really empty that day. It used to be crowded with foreigners before. Now, about the crepe, the batter has matcha mixed in. I thought it was just for color, but you can really taste the tea. Oh, can't just lick this crepe (^_^;). The combination of sweetness and bitterness was really good, it was quite delicious. Maybe Kyoto's crepes are a bit different? (^o^)

At the food hall in the basement of Kyoto Tower, there is a tapioca shop. They offer three types of tapioca: brown sugar, chocolate, and colorful. I ordered a brown sugar milk tea with chocolate tapioca and less ice. The combination of mildly sweet milk tea and chocolate tapioca was delicious.

Located on the basement floor of Kyoto Tower, Tapioca Berries offers a unique ordering system where you can customize your drink at the counter and pay at the register. The menu is extensive, with options to choose the base flavor, size, type of tapioca, and amount of ice. I ordered a regular size ripe mango milk with less ice and regular black tapioca, costing 385 yen including tax. The drink was filled with chunks of ripe mango and chewy tapioca, creating a delicious and satisfying combination. With just two ice cubes, the drink wasn't too watery. The perfect match of mango and milk, along with the unique texture of tapioca, made it a delightful treat for a quick break.

The crepe prices at Kyoto Tower underground seem wallet-friendly considering the current market. It's a good option for school trip students. There wasn't a big crowd around 3 pm on weekdays, but young people were lining up one after another. It felt like tapioca was the main attraction, so I tried the tapioca crepe hoping for a chewy texture. I also got vanilla ice cream because my throat was a bit dry. However, I didn't really taste the chewiness I was expecting. It was just okay, nothing special.

This time, I had matcha milk tea. They didn't have black tapioca, so I was recommended to try chocolate tapioca, which I ordered for the first time. It added a strong sweet taste and was delicious. However, since I ordered a large size, I found it a bit too much. I think the regular size would be just right. Whenever I go around Kyoto Station, I always have tapioca here.

On Saturday evening, I had dinner in Fushimi, did some shopping at Kitaoji Station, and stopped by Yodobashi near Imadegawa. By the time it was getting close to evening, I decided to try this place. There were two customers in front of me before ordering. The small size of tapioca is 350 yen. Choose the type of tapioca and the type of drink! I chose chocolate tapioca with soy milk coffee jelly. Tapioca was a delicious first experience, chewy and tasty. It was a bit difficult to suck up because of the coffee jelly inside. There is no lid on the cup, it's a heat pack. The staff must be busy with so many options available.
