I wanted to go to Emilia but it was full, so I called here instead. The octopus and avocado with wasabi dressing was delicious! The white motsu stew is also recommended. However, each dish is around 1,000 yen and the portions are small, so it can add up quickly. They have a good selection of sour drinks, making it a popular spot for a light meal and drinks, but I may not want to go back for a second time.

A popular restaurant a little away from Gaienmae, used for a second party. Even on Sunday nights, it's crowded with people having a good time. We ordered a 5 kinds of motsu (offal) platter, and the vinegar motsu was soft and chewy. The rare liver vanilla had no smell, was tender, and delicious. There are many types of alcohol to enjoy. Lastly, we ordered beef motsu risotto and soup, so our stomachs were satisfied! Thank you for the meal.

I went to a popular tripe and sake bar in Gaienmae. Even though there aren't many shops around and I went on a Sunday at 8 pm, the place was packed with customers. I tried the ankimo (monkfish liver) appetizer and immediately switched from beer to sake. I tried four different types of sake, each one delicious. For dessert, I had tiramisu with a unique addition of black beans. This is probably the most popular izakaya in Gaienmae, with counter seats available making it a great spot for a date. The menu for the day included a sake appetizer trio, a five-item tripe dish, leek and corn tempura, tail soup, champon, and tiramisu with black beans. Thank you for reading the review. I hope it inspires you to enjoy some delicious food! Your likes and comments are greatly appreciated!

Enjoy creative offal cuisine at Kogane, a bar where you can also savor warm "Junmai sake". The bar offers a variety of offal dishes paired with different temperatures of sake, creating a delicate and enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is popular among fashionable office workers in Harajuku, and the dishes, which combine offal with Japanese sake and natural wine, are a must-try. The chef's special offal course includes a selection of dishes such as homemade Nara pickles and ankimo, as well as offal platters and unique desserts like tiramisu cream puffs. The bar offers a wide selection of sake and a stylish ambiance, making it a perfect spot for gatherings with friends or colleagues.

The WBC semi-final eve party was held at Kogane with Timondi. The avocado and octopus salad, boiled pork kimchi, firefly squid, and other dishes were delicious. Timondi mentioned that there is a physique competition in Fiji in the summer, so he hardly ate anything except edamame, leaving me to eat almost everything... burp. I forgot to take photos of the other dishes we ordered later. We ended the meal without having the tarako spaghetti. The cloudy lemon sour was very delicious, and I might have had about 5 glasses. Good luck to Japan in the WBC semi-finals!

The taste was elegant, and everything I ordered was delicious. Especially the vinegar tripe had no odor and a refreshing taste. The potato fried truffle cheese flavor was also elegant and I couldn't stop eating it. The umesuisho had a delicious taste as if I had visited a ryokan, and the seasoning was just right. The house wine was easy to drink, and I drank a lot without getting a headache. I want to go back again.

Located in a corner of a popular street in the area near Omotesando, this restaurant has a casual izakaya-like atmosphere but is actually a sister store of the natural wine-focused Ruriiro and Ebiiro. The ambiance is stylish and they offer a variety of natural wines in addition to sake and shochu. The restaurant is always busy, from early opening hours to late at night, showing its popularity. The menu includes a variety of dishes aside from offal, making it accessible even for those who are not fans of organ meats. The flavors are decent, with each dish showing some creativity and effort put into it. The seasoning tends to be on the stronger side, making it a good match for drinks like water or soda. The counter is lined with bottles of shochu and sake, indicating a good selection. However, the fact that all drinks are stored at room temperature raises some concerns about quality and serving temperature.

"I post cute photos of meals that I have edited on Instagram, so feel free to take a look (ノ≧ڡ≦)☆★ When you want to eat creative dishes with motsu ★ When you want to go to a stylish izakaya For now, both the food and the drinks are delicious so you can't go wrong!! I was drawn to the name Motsu Sakaba and made a reservation! I visited after 7 pm, but it was full! It might be reassuring to make a reservation. The atmosphere of the restaurant is like a stylish izakaya in a designer apartment with concrete walls! It is very cozy❤️ There are many menu options, so it's hard to decide, but there are marks on the recommended dishes, so I ordered those as the main dishes. The liver sandwich is cute in appearance and tastes amazing, I was impressed, definitely recommend ordering it! The plump vinegar motsu has a chewy texture and is very delicious! The seasoning is delicious and goes well with sake (*´~`*)ŧ‹"ŧ‹"ŧ‹" Every dish was very delicious, no disappointments! And the drinks are also very delicious!! I got addicted to the homemade ginger shochu with shiso leaves lol, be careful not to drink too much⚠♡ Motsu Sakaba! It's a quite unique concept and I think there are few similar restaurants, so if you feel like eating it again, you have to go here!!❣️❣️"

"Motu Sakaba Kogane" is a stylish izakaya that offers creative dishes featuring motsu (offal). When I visited around 9 pm, the place was full, but I was able to snag a seat as people were leaving. We started with a toast of draft beer and ordered the "Plump Vinegared Motsu," "Reed and Corn Tempura," and "Rare! Liver with Leeks." These three dishes really showcase the unique style of this restaurant, so they are a must-order every time. As we switched from beer to sake, we enjoyed the "Assorted Pickled Vegetables" before moving on to the second round. For the second half, we ordered the "Lamb Mapo Tofu," "Rolled Omelette with Eel Simmered in Sauce," and "Beef Heart Chingaorou Spring Rolls." Each dish had an extra touch that made it stand out. To finish off, we had the "Tarako Pasta," a recommended dish for a smooth ending. While motsu dishes may be associated with a more old-fashioned image, this place prepares them in a stylish way, attracting a diverse crowd including many women, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. It's definitely a lively and satisfying restaurant.

I really like this restaurant. The motsu dishes are delicious, but the other menu items are also so tempting that I want to keep coming back to this izakaya. The clean and cozy atmosphere of the place is great. They also have all-day service on weekends and holidays starting from 3 pm, which is convenient. I often stop by before baseball games at Jingu Stadium. The variety of drinks is a delight for drinkers, especially the lemon sour with lots of fruit pulp. Today, I had the following dishes:
- Plump vinegar motsu (850 yen)
- Horse mackerel namero (800 yen)
- Ume cucumber (300 yen)
- Sichuan-style mapo tofu with spicy lamb (800 yen)
- Beef tripe chingalinga rolls (800 yen)
- White beef tendon stew (700 yen)
- Liver and leek stir-fry (850 yen)
- French fry with seaweed salt (600 yen)
- Cod roe pasta (1200 yen)
The plump vinegar motsu and white beef tendon stew are must-try dishes. They are fresh and delicious. The surprise hits this time were the unique spring rolls and the potato fry. The cod roe pasta was also delicious! The potato fry here has a unique deliciousness, and I want to try other flavors besides seaweed salt next time. The lemon sour with fruit pulp is consistently good. I also enjoyed the summer limited edition sake. I would like to try the motsu hot pot on a cold day. Thank you for the meal!

The deliciousness of each dish was carefully crafted! It was hot, so I didn't have the hormone hot pot, but I definitely want to try it next time.
- Shirasu Cholegi Salad: The crunchy flying fish roe is amazing! This alone makes the alcohol go down smoothly.
- Lamb Mapo Tofu: The lamb flavor is amazing and goes perfectly with the mapo tofu seasoning.
- Grilled Hormone: Grilled with garlic sprouts! There were dozens of types of hormones.
- Liver mousse cream puff: Creamy liver mousse paired with sweet potato paste? It's sweet and seems to go well with wine.
- White Motsu: Unmistakable deliciousness! The motsu is tender with an elegant sweetness and umami.
- Beef tail soup soba: Perfect for finishing the meal! The soup is unbelievably delicious.

I had a strong reaction with my friend at first sip of the finely crafted beer. I was amazed at how different it tasted just by the way it was poured, compared to the usual Premium Malt I always drink. There was a "God Foam Master" sticker or something similar officially approved by Suntory. The dishes were made with flavors and presentation that women would love. I particularly enjoyed the seasonal recommended firefly squid and grilled hokke with herb butter. However, I have to apologize for a negative experience with the service. It was my mistake that I accidentally knocked over the chopstick holder on the table, spilling a lot of chopsticks. The male staff member let out a sigh and expressionlessly cleaned it up. I work in customer service too, so I understand his feelings, but I wish he had said something like "It's okay~" even if it was just a lie.

Revisit (January 22nd) - It had been a while since I could drink alcohol again, so I revisited this place. The Italian and izakaya-style dishes using motsu were delicious without being pretentious. Among them, the dish I always end up ordering is the brilliant combination of reed voar and corn tempura.
◆Menu this time:
- Liver in a pastry shell
- An liver and Nara pickles
- Charred stingray fin
- Pudding-like vinegar motsu
- Grilled gyoza with kogane
- French fry with truffle cheese
- Reed voar and corn tempura
- Plus, 1 beer, 1 bottle of house white wine, and 1 bottle of house red wine (shared among 3 people)
- Total cost per person: 5000 yen
※The following is basic information about the restaurant, which may overlap with the initial visit content if mentioned.
◆How to enjoy this place:
<Concept>
A neo-izakaya themed around dishes made with fresh motsu, warm sake, and natural wines.
<Ordering>
While they offer courses, this time we ordered a la carte. Drinks start from 580 yen for beer, 580 yen for lemon sour, and 800 yen for one cup of sake.
<Atmosphere>
A modern and clean izakaya fitting for Omotesando. The layout includes counters, tables, and raised seating areas, making it convenient for different purposes. The staff's cheerful service and precise menu explanations also add to the pleasant experience.

Tail Soup Champon for 990 yen. The restaurant operates as "Motsu Sakaba Kogane" at night and as "Men-dokoro Kogane" during the day. They serve creative Champon dishes during lunchtime. The Tail Soup Champon features chewy Champon noodles in a flavorful beef tail soup. Served in a pot-shaped bowl, it arrives piping hot, so be careful if you have a sensitive tongue. It comes with Juroku Ishi rice and a side dish, and you can get a free extra serving of rice. With its delicious and unique Champon variations, this place is definitely worth revisiting! #MendokoroKogane #TailSoupChampon #Champon #GourmetinGaienmae #LunchinGaienmae #GourmetinKitaaoyama #LunchinKitaaoyama

Kogane Motsu Sakaba has started a unique weekend-only lunch and noodle shop due to the coronavirus pandemic, which is worth noting!! As of July 8, 2021, the Tabelog rating is 3.52. I am working near Jingu-mae. In this area, there are many food and beverage establishments that are overwhelmingly closed on Sundays, and it is especially difficult to find takeout options. I wandered around the studio area in a desperate attempt, but the situation remained tough. So, I decided to walk a little further and headed towards Omotesando Station. In a side street near Aoyama Kumano Shrine, I discovered that "Kogane Motsu Sakaba," which I had visited before, has started offering weekend-only lunch service and a new menu called "Noodle Shop Kogane" to survive the repeated business restrictions due to the new coronavirus. What caught my eye in particular was the "Green Curry Tail Soup Champon"!! This place is offering all the items for only 990 yen, which is a fantastic deal!!! Isn't that amazing? If you are a carb-avoiding person, you might choose the Toro Toro boiled pork kimchi set or the hearty pork ginger set, but I'm a die-hard curry junkie, so I boldly went for the "Green Curry Tail Soup Champon." The Green Curry Tail Soup Champon for 990 yen comes with a salad, small side dishes (3 varieties), and rice (16-grain rice). It's a simple offering of Champon with Green Curry, but it comes with a surprise salad, small side dishes (3 varieties), and rice (16-grain rice). The fact that you can have unlimited rice refills is amazing!! After finishing the Champon, you can enjoy "Green Curry Rice" for the second time!! This is a fantastic deal for 990 yen... the cost-performance ratio is definitely 4.0. The all-green dish on the tray is reminiscent of the fresh greenery of the off-season, and the large amount of coriander and fried vermicelli on top of the Champon creates a "Thai" mood! The excitement never stops!
